There he lay, embraced by the wonderfully cold snow. It was like a pillow, a mattress. A fluffy cover that slowly but, surely began to cover him. A purple gaze slowly followed a snowflake, falling from the wide firmament above. As soon as it touched his hand, it disappeared and was no more. Ritsukas mind chuckled at the irony. Maybe he too would be like that. Here one moment, gone the next.
His mothers beatings had been merciless this time. Everything was painful. Moving and breathing caused him agony blinking even. He refused to move from the lawn, this would be his deathbed, if thats what it came down to. So be it. Maybe death would bring relief to his aching limbs. His body sighed involuntarily, causing him to whimper in pain. Ritsuka winced as his blood-encrusted throat vibrated with the sound. The violet-eyed Sacrifice settled down again and let his mind wander.
His pictures would forever keep his memories. Suddenly, he saw a downfa

The day Ritsuka was released from the hospital, his attitude was more skittish than ever. Whenever he was spoken to, the 14-year-old Sacrifice would automatically shrink back like a little mouse and squeak. Something in the back of his head kept nagging at him that the doctors would say something and he would not be able to leave. Two weeks in the same room had gotten him anxious to leave. Finally, when all the papers were signed, he was allowed outside on crutches. At last! He was no longer confined to the blasted wheelchair.
As the boy walked to the door, he noticed the brilliant sun shining in all its glory. And under it stood the very figure that looked as though it could so easily reach up and take it in his hands. No wonder they always radiated that heat. He looked like a god, really, standing under the sun, shoulders held up proudly. Agatsuma Soubi.
Ritsukas face automatically lit up as he walked
Moments (Loveless)The window was open even though it was a chilly night. Perhaps it was Ritsuka being forgetful. Or maybe, Ritsuka was actually waiting for him to show up. Hoping that he would show.Moments (Loveless)10 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Soubi hated to disappoint.
But he did hesitate before going in, when he saw Ritsuka's condition. Three new bandages on his cheek, and a set of vibrant bruises around his slender neck. Those injuries hadn't been there last night. And Soubi remembered that Ritsuka had broken curfew last night. Because Ritsuka had been worried about him.
"Ritsuka," Soubi said quietly, breezing in through the window. Hearing him, the boy rolled out of his bed and began shaking his head. Small hands pushed Soubi back towards the window.
"You have to leave," Ritsuka hissed, his voice hoarse. Soubi might have thought the boy had a cold, if he didn't know better.
"Mother might come up to check on me, if she finds you—"
"She won't," Soubi interrupted calmly, sliding Ritsuka's left shirt sleeve almost accidentally. Dark bruises covere
Loveless fanficPlease forgive me Soubi asked, pleading in his voice. Ritsuka changed into the clothes Natsuo had given him, without saying a word.Loveless fanfic7 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Im sorry Soubi said in a bare whisper.
Its not like you had a choice Ritsuka replied, Now get into bed Soubi looked at him, guilt and sadness in his blue eyes.
But Ritsuka, can you stand to be with a traitor? he asked. Ritsuka looked at him, unsure of how to answer. His eyes twitched and he climbed into bed.
Im tried, so Im going to bed he finally told the older man, Are you joining me or not? Soubi looked at him, before slowly nodding. Five minutes later, Soubi climbed into the bed, next to Ritsuka. Ritsuka had expected Soubi to hug him or crawl up right against him, but Soubi was as far away from Ritsuka as possible. Ritsuka silently sighed, turning over to face away from the man, and he was soon swallowed into his confused thoughts.

There were times, after arguments about various topics finally ended, that Soubi would fall asleep with his arms still wrapped around Ritsuka. It was a habit of his, to hold the younger male in his arms after their words ceased and a kiss or two was given, although on most occasions Ritsukas lips would shy away from Soubis. It was always quite a long while before he let him go, and on some occasions, he didnt let go at all. Ritsuka liked those times best.
Since their narrow escape from Shichisei Gakuen, Ritsuka and Soubis lives had become completely entwined with each others; it was almost impossible for them not to be when Soubi was the only one there to rely on. Soubi seemed to enjoy being relied on, and Ritsuka had to admit that the older male took better care of him than either of his parents ever had. It was like when Seimei had taken care of him and then Ritsuka shuddered at the thought of his older brother, the cold

Seimei, he thought, Seimei, why is it so difficult?
Am I cursed by my name?
Ritsuka shuddered. Loveless. That was his true name, chosen before he was born. One without love.
Ritsuka slammed his fists down on the desk, knocking over the framed pictures. Who's fault was it anyway? His, Seimei's, Soubi's, The Seven Moons?
Ritsuka head snapped up at the sound of that voice. "Soubi?"
Soubi's eyebrows pulled together and he crossed the room in a few long strides, taking Ritsuka's face into his hands. "You've been crying," he murmured. His slender fingers brushed the tears away. "Come." Gently, he carried Ritsuka to the bed, sitting on the egde and setting him on his lap. "Ritsuka, I love
Loveless: The Walk_ prologueAgatsuma Soubi never had a problem with money. Its not because he has plenty of it but because he doesnt bother himself much with insignificant things (in his opinion), such as his financial status. Hes a recipient of a special scholarship for the gifted and talented artists and receives a monthly allowance so he doesnt have to bother himself with paying tuition fees as long as he paints. Of course, it doesnt hurt that he is a special fighter and a former student of the Septimal Moon Academy, which has a lot of connections. Sometimes he works every now and then on a clothes thrift shop for a few months and then go back to his bumming ways, butterfly paintings and mooning over Aoyagi Seimei. Kio pointed out that he only wanted more time with Seimei and didnt care about his own well-being. The fighter didnt deny it.Loveless: The Walk_ prologue7 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
