~Looks better without the flash, I think!!~
My cousin is getting married in November, and this weekend is her bridal shower. I don't have a ton of funds, so I opted to make a bridal shower gift and purchase a gift card for the actual wedding.
I browsed all of her lists, and she had alot of wood tones and reds in her items, a TON of kitchen and tableware items, as well. So I thought.. why not coasters?
So here they are! A set of four rose coasters. Done in chocolate cherry with a dark brown antique over it, to match her apparent color desires, and floral for her, but solid darker tones for him! They're done with all undercut beveler, minus 1 line, and after undercutting alongthe outer lines, I used a textured bevel as well to blend it in. The leather is 5-6oz RoyalMeadows (cuts and tools like a DREAM!!!); the edges have been rounded, and they have been sealed repeatedly in wax for water-proofing.
