Far back in the Gryffindor Common Room sat a Mr. Ronald Weasley. He had been sitting there staring awestruck at a girl, on the opposite side of the room, who wasn't even giving him the time of day. Well, she hadn't really noticed since she was concentrating on reading. Though it didn't matter because Ron preferred it that way. At least now he could admire her from afar without having to face her... and he desperately wanted to avoid that. Just then he noticed her smile, as if she could hear all his worries, and made Ron almost smile himself for being so silly. But she simply turned a page and Ron's smile was lost. He frowned and shook his head; he couldn't go through with it.
Suddenly, the portrait hole opened and Ron shrunk back further into his dark corner. Ginny jumped out of the hole and waved down Hermione, who had already put down her book at first glance. Ron watched as they spoke for a bit, but his mind couldn't be farther away- preoccupied with what he had to do&

Harry paused for a moment, remembering the first Collin Creevy. He looked up at Ginny, who was staring off into space, a tear rolling down her pale, freckled face. Harry hated to see her sad, so he continued, hoping for something to change the subject.

Harry Potter the Aftermath A boy with untidy, jet black, and with wizard robes covered in dirt walked down the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was apparent that a battle had recently been fought. Statues were broken and pieces of amour scattered across the halls. Many people had died on both sides. Some were friends while others were enemies. Mourning would come, but for now Harry Potter was just glad that everything was over. Even now as he walked down the hall with his two greatest companions as they left the Headmasters office, Harry knew that sadness would come in time. Time a precious gift Harry thought he would never have again just a few hours ago as he marched into the Forbidden Forest to what he thought was his death. He knew with Voldemort gone, Harry would live a long life he would have time to be with those that he loves. The shined through a broken window and Harry felt the rays of the rising sun. Lily was down in the common room, pretending to read a book, while she waited for her friends Kyra and Cora. She had told them to pack the night before but as always, they waited until the very last possible moment to pack. Lily shook her head, when would they ever learn. Those two were the biggest procrastinators she had ever met. She thought six years of being friends would change them into some of her habits, but it seems old habits die-hard.
"When will they ever learn," Lily said to herself.
"You know, talking to yourself is the first sign of insanity," a voice said from behind her.
"Potter, my day was going great and you just have to go and ruin it don't you?" Lily said turning the page of her book, not looking up to him.

How Did I Fall In Love With You?
"How Did I Fall In Love With You?"
Remember when, we never needed each other
The best of friends like
Sister and Brother
We understood, we'd never be,
Those days are gone, and I want you so much
The night is long and I need your touch
Don't know what to say
I never meant to feel this way
Don't want to be
What can I do, to make you mine
Falling so hard so fast this time
What did I say, what did you do?
How did I fall in love with you?
I hear your voice
And I start to tremble
Brings back the child that, I resemble
I cannot pretend, that we can still be friends
Don't want to be,
What can I do, to make you mine

Harry sat very still, feeling slightly numb. Ron was on one side of him, Hermione on the otherthe way its supposed to be, Harry thought. But no one was happy, smiling, laughing, joking. . . .
They were inside the Burrow, waiting for the rest of the family to arrive. Harry glanced at the special Weasley clock hanging on the wallRons, Bills, Charlies, and Freds hands were all pointed to Home. Harry closed his eyes and took a deep breath. It was too much, just sitting there, waiting for everyone when everyone wasnt coming back. He felt tears well up in his eyes and Ron wrapped his arm around Harrys shoulders. They leaned into each other, and Harry realized he was crying too, silently.

Harry turned to see Ginny walking towards him, her eyes red, but otherwise composed. The sight of her made Harry happier than he had felt in a long while.

I can't help but grin foolishly. "When are you going to stop calling me that?"
"When we're both old and wrinkly." He winks and takes something off of the counter. "Look, Lily! I made breakfast."
Oh no, not again. "That's wonderful, dear. I can't wait to taste it." Many people do not realize that my husband can not cook. Every time he tries I normally end up with food poisoning. I can't bear to tell him that, though. He always gets so happy when I eat his meals.
He places the plate of bacon and eggs in front of me. Judging by the way they look, the eggs were not cooked enough and the bacon is badly burned. "I hope you like it. Erm, I'm not sure if the eggs are done."
I touch his arm and smile. "They look fine, James. Thank you."

The whistle blew its last call, the steam was pouring out of the train. The platform was very busy with the sound of people talking excitedly; children were boarding the train whilst their families said their goodbyes. Standing on the platform was a boy who's name was Harry Potter. Harry was eleven years old, tall and slim with black scruffy hair, green eyes and wore thin round glasses. The thing that stuck out most about Harry was his lightning bolt scar on his forehead. This scar was a mark of something terrible that had happened to him in his past.
Harry was an orphan. He lived with his Uncle Vernon Dursley, Aunt Petunia Dursley and Cousin Dudley Dursley. Up until a couple of months ago Harry had always been told that his parents had died in a car crash, that was until he was told on the morning of his birthday 31st of July by a half giant by the name of Hagrid, that he was no ordinary boy, he was in fact a wizard and a famous one at that.
Horcruxes - Chapter 1He had gone back to the Dursleys' just like he said he would. They were unusually quiet and sombre when he came back. Uncle Vernon still eyed him in distrust, though he treated him more civilly this time around. Dudley had not even dared a look at him. Aunt Petunia had even gone out of her way to prepare him a decent meal. He didn't know why, and he didn't bother asking when he dragged his trunk upstairs in the midst of awkward silence. The first night he had spent quietly, without nightmares nor dreams. He had been too tired after the journey home.Horcruxes - Chapter 19 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
He woke up the next morning, and had breakfast. A decent one. The Dursleys sat around him, staring at him as he ate. He didn't look up. He expected that they would ask him some questions, and he would rather not answer them now. They would have to wait. During happier times, he would have gleefully eaten as slow as he could; just to see the extent of their patience. It was not so now. He finished his meal fast and got up to wash the dishes.
After the Battle - Chapter 1Harry slumped onto the four-poster bed and let out a long sigh. He lay on his back silently, staring at the maroon canvas that hung above him, not looking up when he heard Hermione enter the dormitory, nor when he felt the mattress sink as Ron sat down beside him. After the Battle - Chapter 17 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
How are you feeling? Ron asked him.
Harry thought about this for a moment. He wasnt sure that he could give a satisfactory answer.
Tired. he said finally, just tired.
And it was the truth; he felt like he had gone for so long without sleep that his mind would be unable to process the magnitude of the days events until he had a full nights rest in which to recover.
He pulled himself into a sitting position and looked at Ron.
What about you?
I dunno, he shrugged, weird, you know? Like I dont know how to feel. I s pose its still sinking in.
Harry nodded, and looked across the room. Hermione?
She was sat on the next bed, lo

Ginny was standing on the boardwalk. Her fire-red hair whipped around her face and her thin white long-sleeved tunic was fluttering haphazardly around her bare legs. The visit to the beach was supposed to be fun. But it was so far turning out to be no fun at all. After having a row over Harry taking up all the bed space, and having efficiently woken up the other couples (Ron and Hermione, and Neville and Luna) Ginny threw the shirt over her underwear and stalked off to the beach.
Leaning over the railing, Ginny took a breath of smoke and blew it away. The curling smoke from the cigarette flew through the air, mixed with the salty ocean breeze, then dissolved. Giving up on the disgusting thing, she threw the cigarette onto the sand. Tears of regret dripped down her face. She had been very short with Harry lately. She walked onto the beach and stood at the waters edge. Cool ocean water rushed up to her feet. Suddenly feet came behind her. Having lived w

Her breath was caught in the throat as she looked down at the body in the bed before her. It was Harry, but not the one she knew. He was deathly pale, and his breath so shallow, Ginny could hardly be sure he was alive.

A seventeen-year-old Hermione sat next to a roaring fire on the hearth, watching the flames tickle the sides of the yule logs, letting the soft orange glow bathe her in warmth. She was completely ignorant of all the Christmas cheer being shouted from every corner of Number 12 Grimmauld Place's downstairs den. She sighed and smiled contently to herself as she pulled her knees up to her chest, loving the warm sweater Mrs. Weasley had made her for Christmas this year. The sweater was a navy blue with a chocolate brown 'H' knitted on the front. Both were her favorite colours.
Ron Weasley, still as frecklely and tall as ever, bent down behind Hermione and whispered into her ear, "Now why aren't you joining in on the celebrations? Too un-prefect-like for you?" Hermione jumped as his warm breath gave shivers down her spine. She giggled and smacked his shoulder playfully after he sat down next to her.

One, the knob to the cabinet could be used as a lethal weapon as it was stabbing him in the kidneys. Two, he was finding that it was becoming increasingly hard to breath. Harry Potter sat in comfort of his home. The lawns of all the neighbors were the usual emerald green, kept that way by the obsessive lawn-mowing pursuits of all the perfection-seeking neighbors. It was the summer after the war and Harry was stuck living by himself since Ginny still had one more year of Hogwarts left. His new owl, a tawny brown owl with a dark face and large yellow eyes flew up with a letter attached to her leg. Aclis was now his owl, seeing as Hedwig had not survived the war waging with Voldemort.
Harry reached out and untied the letter from his faithful owls leg. He saw immediately that the letter was written in Hermiones fancy scrawl:
