This is just temporary. I'll take it down once I'm back in the swing of things. It's very hasty, not even coloured and rather simple, but hopefully the other few projects I have at hand will bare fruit, once my life stops being so turbulent.

Tomorrow is a new day that shall never come.

Coming back in to re-write the description here since it's been a few years:

This project was just a small concept animation I did for presenting my ideas for my final class - Portfolio class - for school. This animation literally saw about 2 seconds of daylight, and didn't end up in my project in this form.
But I am still really proud of it and so thrilled that people have enjoyed it.

I haven't had the time to be able to answer everyones questions individually so I'll try here:
1. The horse was made in photoshop from stock photos of metal gears, engine blocks, and old armor. The pieces were then animated in flash.
2. For some reason it doesn't display correctly in IE - half the movement freezes after one loop. If you know why, fill me in! I would love to fix it.
4. I did make a second version with more movement in the body, as well a rider, coyote, elk, and rabbit - but it's part of a larger animation that I just can't consider finished yet. Maybe someday I'll be motivated to post the rest of it.

this has been finished for like a month i think

to hear music: click the music note on the right! to change alpha: highlight/click on the 100 in the alpha box and type in your desired alpha. you can also change color and line thickness. and if you want to draw in pixels, right click and select quality>low. this could be useful to people without drawing programs, i think.

you can actually make some pretty nice things with this, because of the alpha and all the colors and stuff.

I hope you like it, first time I've attempted to do everything done in this piece and I must say it's turned out very nice!

The distribution of alignments in regular arrays seen in perspective are related to Farey sequences and coprime pairs.

It surprises me that the visual percept is smooth through the cycle. There is an apparently random high frequency flashing along the lengths of occluding posts that you might think is due to image aliasing. But I tried to minimize this kind of aliasing and I've noticed the same effect while passing well alligned grape vine posts.
