Horrid screams echoed throughout the hallways of the hospital. For long they had been silenced, dying out in gasps, in whimpers… But their mouths remained hanging open in unending terror. The walls of the hallway, as the walls of most other rooms, were tainted, and the floors littered. It was all still so fresh- the color, the smell. Blood hung in heavy curtains, spilling onto the floor in streaks.
Though the screams were silent, mocking the unmistakable sound of nails on a chalkboard, but one could still hear the screech echo throughout the building. The building was unusually warm, even for in the winter with a broken heating system. No matter how warm, one would still get the chill of something breathing upon the back of one's neck, or the cobweb-like brush of an unseen presence.
Bodies littered the floors of halls and rooms. They were of all age and race. And, surprisingly, many had been killed in different ways. Most had bullet wounds, varying from one in the heart or forehead, to
