Something a little different....
....OK, a lot different!!
Have been wanting to do an abstract desktop for a while and after reading a bunch of tutorials and messing around with some different effects with PhotoShop for a little while this is what I cam up with, I call it "Flow"
Hope you all like; I know it's a little of the beaten path so to speak but, I was in the mood for a change.
I would also like to give a big shout out to
Check out his gallery NOW! He has some great works, and w/o his tutorial this wallpaper would not have been possible!
Update: Changed the transparency of the island a little and added a new color, download now includes two versions; preview updated to show new color.
Haven't done a wallpaper with extra planetary objects for a while and was getting the bug to do something far out and crazy and this is the result. If you saw my last 'screenshot' submission you will notice that the wallpaper has changed a bit, for the better I think
Don't know how many hours I have in this but, it's at least a few
Hope you all like it!!
Will probably be releasing the 'island' and the planets as stock here soon to so be on the lookout
Hope you all like!! Feel free to comment and

Another wallpaper to add to the collection

Comments welcome, as always
Stock was again taken from resurgere
This one was from the Package - Nature - 10 stock. I have added my usual 'twist' to the image and this is the end result!
And since the stock at resurgere is so large I was again able to create the wallpaper in higher resolutions, no dual screen this time though...
A slimmed down version of "The Valley", found here: [link]
There were some request for a version without the extra planets, so here it is
Not much really changed from the first version, just a little more simplistic and clean!
[can you tell I'm really digging the crescent moon]
Alright! Another Wallpaper!!
I really, REALLY like this one; spent a little bit of time on it every day over the course of three days untill I got what wanted and I still ended up with two versions
This version is a little more 'lain' than the other; I like how open it is and thought some people might like it more than the other version, especially if they have their icons on the left of the desktop.
I have used two stocks for this wallpaper. The mountains I have used before here: Glacial Mountains, it's from Resurge
The other stock used is the grass, found here from istockphoto.com: Open Field.
I have spent most of the time on the clouds trying to add a little more dimension to them than some of the other wallpapers I have made. I also toned down the space portion of it a bit with only small stars and no nebula as well as a cresent Moon. I really like the way it turned out and hope you do as well
Check out Version 2 as well for something a little different.
