This was my first proper commishion. The brief was basicly to make a red hen of my own design. I wanted to make a proper 3-d plushie with wire frame this time, and i made plenty of mistakes along the way.
In the end though I'm fairly happy with how it turned out.

I offered to add some extras (the ribbion and rose) if they were wanted and they were so I added them. The bottom left is a picture of its.. bottom. I thought it was better to be realistic :)

Felt, fleece and some old patterened material. The feet were made from pipecleaners wrapped up. (If anyone could give me tips on using a wire frame for plushies I'd greatly appricate it!)

Yay for crochet!

One of my favourite pastime, I used to create doilies for quite sometime before experimenting on different things and creating my own design. (Hmmm... which reminds me, where have I placed my previous projects? :0_o:)

This one, is my very first attempt to design and create a case for cellphone through crochet! The design was inspired by Barbara Neid's* heart-shaped bookmark. I found it pretty so I designed this one with the heart-shape in mind and placed it as the accessory to the flap that closes it. The color scheme was used so as to fit the heart a bit. It's a bit messy when you look at the back, though ^^;.

I made this journal for the House Rabbit Society's annual picnic raffle. The money raised will go to thier shelter costs.

I made all the paper from timothy hay (bunnies love the stuff) and abaca. The sewing is with regular thread and crochet thread is also used.

The size is about 5x9...

This Nantucket basket is 10.5" in diameter and 3" high.

The base and rim is made of walnut, cherry, ash, hard maple and mahogany. I had a bunch of small scraps that I sawed, glued, re-sawed, glued, etc. to make the stock to work from.

Woven with Narrow Medium cane and finished off with brass nails in the rim.

I forgot to post this set with the mega-figurine-spam session the other day, so here we go! This is the "good side" of a fanart chess set in the style of the MMORPG EverQuest; I made this probably 3 years ago. Reference coins are a US quarter (left) and US dime (right). Evil side: [link]

Individual pieces: (left to right, top to bottom)
Top row: entire board, white queen, white king, white bishops
Left middle: white rooks, white knights
Right middle: white pawns, coin reference pics
Bottom: backs of all the white pieces

Race/class info for each piece: (in same order listed above)
White queen: female high elf wizard*
White king: male high elf wizard
White bishops: male dwarf cleric, male froglok cleric
White rooks: male vah shir beastlord with tiger pet, female barbarian beastlord with wolf pet
White knights: male dwarf paladin on horse with flaming paladin epic weapon, male human paladin on horse
White pawns: -- all halflings -- ...male ranger, male thief, male cleric, female druid, male druid, female ranger, female druid, female cleric
Note: some of the halflings could be other classes, I made them fairly random
* This is specifically the chick on the front cover of all the EQ games. :D

Custom design me, please do not steal. If Sony wants to buy the set for mass production I'd definitely sell it to them. :ninja:

Weapons of choice: references from the game EverQuest, Fimo (or Sculpey? I forget which) modelling clay and an oven

I'm not sure how Zeke arrived to Farm Sanctuary's California Shelter.

Zeke lives with fellow roosters Russet, Elton and Ricardo, along with tons of lovely lady chickens.
