All right, time to reel her in.. again. POW! "Oww

Inspiration (Somethin' #10)It was something was on my mind today. I don't know why, but it just stuck with me for a while.Inspiration (Somethin' #10)6 years ago in Personal More Like This
Every now and then, I tend to hear people say they don't have the inspiration to draw. Nothing seems to work to get them motivated to pick up a pencil and draw...or that they don't know what to draw for that matter. The latter part I could understand, sometimes it is hard to think of what to draw. Still, I could never believe I won't have the amount of inspiration to actually draw.
Something I got from reading a Bible scripture on my computer a few years back: The word "inspire" means "to breathe". Wow. So powerful in just knowing this. When I am inspired, I breathe....meaning, I have life. I can't live without breathing. I'm just smiling about this right now.
Think about this....some people say it's hard to find inspiration or hard to be inspired....So what are they saying?
Somethin' to Think About #11The last two days I dwell on the words my pastor spoke to the congregation. One sentence that really put me at a stand still: "You have to invest in something. Learn to be an investor."Somethin' to Think About #116 years ago in Personal More Like This
I really began to question myself, about what I'm investing in, and how it is growing and such. This semester, I can truly say, that I have learned to draw from a teacher. Learning to use the materials, how to practice, how to observe as I capture the information, etc. This investment learning from him has been a successful one, because I know I have seen the results. Maybe you guys haven't really seen the results yet, but I assure you, it'll come when I start posting some more complete drawings up later on...Anyways, I have been drawing for 18 years, and within this semester, I can say I am starting to learn how to draw. Can I say I wasted my 18 years investing in something? Not really.
Somethin' to Think About #13It has been on my mind for the longest, maybe for two months now. And I would have to say that maybe it is for the best, because it has been driving me to do things differently...Somethin' to Think About #135 years ago in Personal More Like This
Drawing is a language, a speech. It has it's own words, a vocabulary, an interesting way to display diction. Now, I am sure some here already knew that, and it shows within their sketches and paintings. However, I did not see this until someone showed me how to talk for the first time.
A child may not know words after their born, but his/her parent(s) would throw words to them consistently. Hoping that he/she might utter that word, out of so many. Soon, one word is recognized, and the child mimics. And from one word, tries to use it for everything he/she might see..until, he/she is properly trained to learn other words and how they are associated with the object, setting, person, etc.
Same thing with drawing. A curv
Somethin' to Think About #16This message is not just for sharing, but it is also for me as a reminder and self evaluation as an artist.Somethin' to Think About #163 years ago in Personal More Like This
We make a lot of decisions in life, whether if it is planned to decide, or due to spontaneous events. Like what to order when going out to a new restaurant. Maybe responding to someone calling you out on the b-ball court. Whatever the situation, there are decisions to be made. With those decisions, there are outcomes.
For the past few years, I believed that everything in life is a risk. Everything we do, say, touch, see, etc. And with those risks, there are consequences that happen if the risk ends up in failure. These consequences come with full acceptance if the risk is taken on by the individual. It is this belief that I try to live by when it comes to making decisions. Knowing that I have to accept those consequences helps me determine whether to take the risk or not.

Lenneth (Valkyrie Profile)
- Entire sheet was cleaned, fixed a lot of animations
- Cleaning was specially done to get better alternative colors (Hrist, Silmeria, Freya, and PSX opening colors are the best ones)
- Finished moveset, it was pretty much done before, we just retouched a couple of things
- She only had Glowing Pierce as a combo before, so we also made her whole combo moveset. Lenneth can summon einherjar (hittable) in her combos
- Holy Shields is her unique skill... I forgot to show it in the video, she summons her floating shields and changes her stance. With them she blocks projectiles without defending.
- Ptero attack can be done three times consecutively
- Her gameplay can be a bit tricky, she sometimes needs to keep freezing the enemy with the ice crystal (blockable) to keep a long combo.
Walküre (Walküre no Bouken)
- Lot of color separation and new animations
- Same as Lenneth, she g

Trying to Improve? Are you trying to improve?Trying to Improve?3 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Looking for new ways to improve?
Just to IMPROVE?
There's one thing that people always repeat(I'm not trying to offend anybody) is that when they watch another artist who's art is very good, they either think, "I won't be able to be that good" and feel like they will never improve.
Sad thing, but true.
Only a few people think about improving to get to the same level as their favorite artist.
BUT! There's always room for improvement! ;D
Well, then. I'm not so sure if this is helpful or not and if you will learn something new or not, but, continue on, please. c:
Ever heard of 'practice makes perfect'? I know some people out there practice until they hands feel dead(not literally) but don't give up! Like I said, there's always room for improvement! c: And it doesn't matter if you waste paper. Paper can always be recycled. If you think you're wasting paper, try finding old envelopes and doodle on them!
Don't give up! EVER! Be strong and
'Just be yourself'As a kid I had problems grasping the meaning of "be yourself". Whenever I asked what it meant, the replies were hardly satisfying. Mostly, I was told NOT to be the way I thought of as ok but to be like the kid next door, because he was so well behaved. Or someone famous, someone rich, because they were successful and the more successful you are, the better.'Just be yourself'2 months ago in Personal More Like This
But even at a very young age I already noticed the contradiction here: how was I supposed to be myself if I was copying someone else? This seemed off.
In the end it wasn't a human who was able to explain the concept of "be yourself" to me.
It was a video game.
With a blue hedgehog.
The first thing I noticed about the game was how happy he looked. He was clearly doing the one thing he loved to do, the one thing he did best. And he made a dent with it.
I was impressed.
And then I was hooked.
And by the time we had traveled through three games, I was certain that I had understood the whole "be yourself" thing. And I adored him for it.

When I first sold LMS to Paramount, a lot of people asked me: "How much money did you get?" "You're probably rich now, right?"
I mean, the solid gold mansion I bought was just a little gift to myself...but...
Ever since I was little, I've known I wanted to draw. From the day my parents put a pencil in my hand, this was my future. I just knew it, I had that gut feeling. So I stuck to it, and thankfully it took me to heights I'd have never imagined possible. Now with my new book Redemption heading off to studios soon for a hopeful movie package, I can't wait to see where this new road takes me.
That said, there's something else that tops all of this.
The other night I went out to visit my girlfriend's cousin and her family. Incredibly kind people with very sweet kids. Other than the two parents, there were 3 kids, but the one who caught my interest was the eight-year old boy, Diego.
Diego, shy, tiny, slender, reminded me of myself when I was his a

Here's some tips that may not get you a consistent spot on the front page right away, but that will definitely help getting some watchers and friends, whether you already have some, or not.
First, let me make clear that this is only about 'good' attention – if you just want, say, a certain pageview count, there are probably better ways. This article is for those who would like some people to take them serious as an artist and to actively watch them.
Also note that you needn't follow all of the tips below, but it's recommendable to follow at least 3 of them. Just one or two will not usually get you very far.
So here we go! :iconeagerpee:
Submit art regularly.
Try to find a balance between quality and quantity. Personally I think it's best to submit one or a couple of dev

The United States Congress is proposing two laws that address the problem of wide-scale unlicensed distribution on the Internet of motion pictures, songs, trademarked goods, and patented pharmaceuticals.
One of the proposals is called SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and would direct search engines in the United States to block Internet sites outside the United States that are primarily engaged in distributing unlicensed content.Another proposal called PIPA (Protect IP Act) would block websites located in the United States as well. The Obama administration is putting a stop to these proposals. It wants the Internet companies and the content companies to get together and come up with more functional and less destructive solutions.

A Pop Culture Interpretation of The Supernatural
Every culture around the world created gods and other mythical beings by mixing and matching fanged and taloned animal parts—e.g., enormous eagle heads on lions’ bodies—human beings have always seemed to need to believe there are powerful and usually quite vengeful supernatural beings lurking just beyond the candlelight.
Supernatural beings come to serve several purposes:
They kept people on the lighted path of truth and goodness, fearful of exploring beyond;
They were a reminder of the punishment we deser

Hmm, where to begin? I've been wanting to get back into animating more and more over the last few months, but I've recently made a decision that would probably make it a lot harder to do so...
...and that's my decision to work towards medical school.
I haven't told too many people yet, other than my close irl friends and some online buddies. I thought I'd put this here since this is literally the only place I post my work anymore, and probably the easiest way to talk to anyone that really cares. Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely get back into the swing of things once my initial obstacle (that being MCAT preparation) calms down a bit. I'm also taking classes to raise my GPA and finish some prerequisites, and after that I'll be looking into gaining some first-hand experience with medical shenanigans. Don't be like me who slacked off in college guys! it'll hurt BAD especiall

I guess I tend to forget that at times with life being as short as it is. How the changes can come as quick as a stroke on a piece of paper. Regardless of those changes, regardless of the spontaneous alterations to one's journey, it is always the mindset in focusing on the present, and not allowing the past to dictate the future.
This past January, I was blessed to join of a team of creatives, who were all passionate in what they do. They always came to work giving it their all, and were at the top of their game, no question. As time progressed with my stay with them, I had some highs and some lows working there. No matter of the kind of day I was having, my desire was to give them my all on the projects assigned to me.
Last Thursday, I was given the news that I was being let go. The skills they were

I'll slowly be responding to 'featured' requests and comments, I just have to finish cleaning up over here and winding down.
