This is an illustration from a fanfic I started.... four years ago? Right after the third book came out. Anyways.
This is actually line art from 2002, so it's kind of old, but the colouring is from.... January. I just forgot to scan it.
All four of these individuals are obviously the four heirs of their houses. Hufflepuff is Hannah Abbott, Slytherin is Draco Malfoy, Ravenclaw is Luna Lovegood, and Gryffindor is obviously Harry Potter.
Now here's the thing - Luna didn't exist when I started the story, did she? So that was originally Mandy Brocklehurst. But no one really saw the art for this story until after the fifth book came out, and everyone immediately jumped to the conclusion that the Ravenclaw had to be Luna, and they were so pleased with me for drawing her with glasses when they pictured her that way... so I had to make it Luna. ((Of course, I am convinced that Luna has glasses anyways, so it was only a matter of making a brunette a blonde and making the character more spacey, that was all.))
Of course, it's changed a little since I first started writing it. No more HarryxGinny stuff here, no siree!
Now it has the wonderful slashy goodness that is HarryxDraco! MWA HA!
Actually, the best part of the story was the bad guy ((And keep in mind that this was before books four and five....)) PERCY WEASLEY! Yay!
"So, Harry... what made you decide to enter the Triwizard Tournament?" "Er -" said Harry again, but he was distracted by the quill. Even though he wasn't speaking, it was dashing across the parchment, and in its wake he could make out a fresh sentence: An ugly scar, souvenier of a tragic past, disfigures the otherwise charming face of Harry Potter, whose eyes -- "Ignore the quill, Harry," said Rita Skeeter firmly.

This is Albus Severus fanart. xD Or just an interpretation. I didn't like the Harry Potter ending much..H/D ftw and all.. but, who says the character names can't be used? This is my interpretation. After all, although the description in the book said that he looked like a clone of Harry, surely there would be some [feminine] traces of Ginny somewhere? So thus.. those awful freckles.
Haha. Drawing on the freckles was an absolute pain and the eyes annoy me.. but I did like doing the colouring in though I suppose there was a tad bit of overenthusiasm with the 1px scatter brush. xD
Looking at the picture in thumbnail form.. I think he looks too out of proportion [read: thin and odd looking], but really, all I wanted to do was do shading
And the S shaped snake pays homage to the AS/S ship xD...or Slytherin *shrug*
Let's just say, I was bored, and got inspired by ~silver-elph's Harry Potter GIF, so I decided to make this. It isn't much. It's also my first time experimenting with sounds/music. Also, please excuse some rather large pauses in the middle. >.<
Update: There are some size issues on deviantART, and I couldn't be bothered fixing them. Bananaphone also runs overtime, but why would you wanna watch the animation twice?
This way I have managed to draw a real spoiler at last^^
It started as a random sketch - I've been sitting outside, talking to my bro and enjoying the weather, messing around in my sketchbook. And here you have it, too much of HP lately. And it's not the end>_>. I still have a few ideas for the last book ilustrations, but they will have to wait till I'm back in September and till I'm done with the current and more important project.
As the title says. And yes, that's THE book (when you reread these fragments, knowing who it is for sure, it's kinda...creepy...). Young Severus mproving another potion or inventing a new spell (kill me for this, but I really thought Sectumsempra was kinda a cool spell... it makes you really realise for the first time, that Snape indeed IS a dangerous man. And very inteligent one too, but that was clear from the start^^).
And... tell me, he's attractive, and I'm gonna stab you in the face *reads the comments... stabs everyone in the face*
Pencil+a little bit of Painter (but stil much more of pencil). And I need to buy this sort of colored paper...
For a while I wanted to do Harry Potter fanart. I do enjoy the books. If I had to make a guess, I would say this is them around the time of the Chamber of Secrets or Prisoner of Azkaban. Though, Ron does look a bit older. >.> There are other problems, but oh well.
This isn't exactly what I wanted to do. I might do the art I wanted eventually. This is more me having fun with my art program and messing around. Experimenting, really. I'm also trying to find a style I like better.
I'd say it took me about two hours to do. I get too distracted while I work so I never really can be sure how long something took me exactly
OMG... OMFG!!! I am so insanely proud of this it's unreal. I present to you Harry Potter done Simpsons style. I spent a whole day on this one, doing all of the intricate details of the candellabra, and more importantly the books on the shelves. There are a couple of Potter references hidden in there and I'd be curious to know if anyone out there can spot them.
Drawn and coloured in PS CS2 with my most amazing of technological gadgets, my Wacom Volito2 tablet (thank you Lord for giving me this gift!). Total time 12 hours
Edit: OMG! I don't believe it. Over 2000 views for this, thank you so much guys . I am so flattered and surprised
I FINALLY FINISHED READING Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. IT ONLY TOOK ME UNTIL THE FOURTH OF AUGUST. W00T.
And, being the extreme hypocrite I am, as soon as I find out what happens I have to babble spoilers to anyone I meet.
So, since I am easily amused, hyperactive on ice cream, and slightly crazy from a long day at the mall ( ) I made this.
This is also a result of reading too many comic strips. I found a lot of great Death Note strip series and just HAD to binge on them. So now we have this. *points up at deviation*
Despite the simple half-assedness this comic strip gives off, it went through several program-switches before it could be finished. (Paint, Photoshop, Paint, Picture It!, Paint, Photoshop, Paint. Mainly the same programs over and over again, but I had to switch so much dammit. . .) Plus while I was working out some kinks (like lack of colour), Photoshop closed down on me so I had to do it again and HOLY RA I hate having to do stuff over.
But anyway, after all my double toil and trouble to finish this, here it is. Hope the preview pic doesn't eat it up.
*bows out* *followed by bricks, flowerpots, dictionaries, and other sorts of assorted heavy & painful stuffs*
