Parenthood, Part 2
The hospital was a short ten minutes from their house. The car ride was silent, Jen was resting her chin in her hand as she gazed out at the passing buildings, Logan was trying to watch the road and not Jen slowly rubbing her belly.
"You were daydreaming again," he said as they pulled into a parking space.
"How did you know?" She asked.
"Well you were rubbing your belly again," he said, "that usually means you're daydreaming."
With a smile she replied,
"Yeah, I don't even realize it sometimes; I guess I'm still not used to it yet".
As they began walking towards the hospital doors Logan reached for her paw and intertwined his fingers with hers.
"Even when it's over, I don't think we'll be used to it." He said.
"True," she said, "I don't think any first time parents can ever get used to it."
As they walked through the automatic doors a rush of cold air greeted them.
"Ah, that feels good", exclaimed Jen.

Seamus paced his living room floor, listening to the cries of his niece, coming from up the stairs. As he waited for the midwife to come and announce the birth of the child, he pondered the mystery surrounding Moira's pregnancy. She had announced to them one morning that she was with child but would not announce the name of the father and had insisted on having the baby at home. Why would she wish for that? She was a Homid Garou, any child she bore would also be Homid. There was no danger in having the child at a hospital. Seamus paused, looking out the window, searching for the moon. He smiled, the child would be a Galliard. He realized that he was standing in silence, Moira's cries had ceased. He listened carefully for the sounds of a baby but heard none. Thinking the child still born, his head drooped in sorrow. There were so few Garou, the loss of one before it had a chance to breath its first breath was sad indeed.
"Seamus, you better come." The midwife
Worgen of WarThe sound of a thousand drums echoed through the dusk's skies as hundreds of sets of padded hands and feet ran upon the desecrated soil to the targeted town. Jaws snapped accompanied by squeals and yelps of excitement as each beast raced for the point, excitement burning in their wolfen eyes. Tongues lolled out of jaws through jagged teeth and the woman - Worgen - Evijan ran with the army.Worgen of War4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Her pitch black fur glistened in the fires of the last fight the land saw yet she cared not for the heat. She cared only to sink her teeth into flesh. Cared only to kill. Lap up blood, crush skulls, rip flesh and lick the marrow out of snapped bones. She wanted to kill, kill, kill. Her panting and running raced together in a war beat, as did the rest of the wolfen army's bodies. They were unstoppable and would ravage the town until nothing was left. They amassed in the hundreds as they ran, eyes ablaze with fury and enjoyment to what was coming.

The HomecomingI was walking through the woods. Darkness entangled with the thick scents of cedar and pine. The path was clearly seldom trod upon, as it was thick with over growing ferns. It was strange. I had discovered the path just this morning. I couldn't stop thinking about it the entire day. Through my isolated high school classes, into the time I spent drawing in my empty house, all I could think about was that path. The Homecoming5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
I'd lived in these woods since I was small, so it was strange to me that this little forgotten path went undiscovered for so long. It just penetrated the first layer of trees in my back yard. It was not hard to find at all, and yet it had apparently eluded me during my most adventurous stages in life.
As I continued to walk along the path, I thought back to the days of my childhood. I used to pretend I was a wolf. I would close my eyes and crouch down on my hands and knees. In my mind I willed fur and claws to grow. I would stretch and flex every muscle in my body in imitation of

After more walk, it was completly empty, no one was near, the place was literally dead. Sudently somekind of demons, diferent from me, attacked us. They were wearing masks, and swords. A strange wallet came jumping without we notice as Issun apeared too, jumping. "heh? if isn't the snow boy" he said (he calls me like that due my light white hair). The wallet starts shaking and sudently shrinks me and Azon. Ammy looked a

As Axel opened his hungry maw, Zexion cringed at the smell of Axel's breath, given his position, one would expect Zexion to fight, but he didn't, perhaps he was slightly willing, or perhaps fear kept him in place.

In a kingdom not too far from "The Great Forest" there lived a royal family who thought they were better than the simple people of the town, a king with a horrible appetite, a queen that is worried about fashion and being the most beautiful of the kingdom (even though she wasn't), a daughter that wants every toy ever made and always gets what she wants, and finally (luckily) a son who was adopted at a young age so he was not really not a part of the horrible family by blood, but the family didn't like him neither because he was a good boy at the age of 10 and his name is James.
James was always sent to do his chores and clean up around the castle even though they had servants, laboring away hiding his tears and hoping to soon come up with a plan to escape this nightmare. Later the king had announced the today was a great celebration for his queen's new robes to show off,

On a moonlit night in a village in France,
The Loup-Garous gather to dance!
The shy ones lean against the wall
As the bolder beasts leap and have a ball!
The Grand Wolf-Mother comes forth from her lair,
Her pack's fierce howls do split the air!
They run and they lope and they enter the town,
Breaking the doors of their victims down!
The screams are shrill but they don't last long;
Then all you can hear is the Loup-Garous' song--
"Blood and flesh and hard white bone,
We feast together, we feast alone!
OWWOOO! Mother Moon, smile down on us still
As we hunt and dance and leap and kill!"

No one even sees him, they don't even care
Who would? He's like a hopeless entity
He never gets tired from walking
but then he found himself all alone
and the world around him slowed down
the mist that covers his world disappears
revealing a vast dull realm
It was full of his mistakes and fears.
the sight of him was so painful,
he was shaking, he was scared,
and the ground was drenched with tears
I walked closer and told him it'll be ok
then I saw his once bright face, now so dim
I felt all his sadness
Then, silently he asked me "Why?"
I couldn't utter a word

I look up to the heavens and I wonder if you're watching, if you're listening. I know I probably don't deserve your forgiveness but I wonder... Maybe I wonder too much. I'm a traitor, a betrayer. Unholy. Unworthy. Maybe you still care? Care enough to reach out to me, extending a gracious, helping hand and picking me up and putting me back on my feet. Everybody's talking, but the room is quiet.
The lights above glow with the warmth and luster of a dozen plump candles. Soft, yet radiant enough for me to see the nebulae in my father's eyes, even from so far away. There were neither props nor backgrounds, save for the children in costumes and the little STOP sign choking in my nervous grip. I had no choice. The show had begun.
My class sat in squealing tin chairs as we took turns prancing up to the mic to say our lines, just how we remembered them. The boy in the full-body milk carton had the most lines, the proud prick. But it was after his fifth when I was the next up. I squeezed hard and tried not to trip as I stood and made my way to my five seconds of fame. Mouth before mic, I held up the sign: STOP. The world seized spinning and the air was shot dead.
