A re-make of:
[link]

I spent a good 3 hours or so jsut sketching this and amazily the only refrence i used was for the ANBU outfit. i spent about 2more hours trying out digital inking for the 1st time, and another 4 or most likely more colouring the damn thing....God it was worth it!

i had to re-size a few things, the masks were origonaly too small, apparently the legs look too big, but i'm too damn lazy to change them. i'm REALLY happy with this pic.

It's of Haru...possibly one of the last naruto themed pics of him before i switch him over to my Manga Hit ninja (still in progress....just busy with college, this pic has been done for a while but i was wanting to wait till i posted the rest of the manga....but hey.) it's a possible time-skip haru, either that or he just has long hair. i wanted him to look more like Ryu Hayabusa, to make him atleast look like haru was part of the Clan.

just incase you can't read the kanji on his armour:
:bulletred:the armplates read "protector"
:bulletpurple:the knee plates read "mist"
:bulletblue:the shin plates read "water"

This is a second attempt at watercolors. Original size of paper was A2 and the theme was 'apple' with no refs so they end up looking kinda abstract. Which is your favourite?

I must say I learned a lot about controlling the water flow, which is never easy since the colors tend to bleed and create fugly smears and water stains. It's still not very good, but I hope to improve with time.

Time taken: Around 3 hours.
Tools: Cold-pressed watercolor paper, Mantegna Water Colors, color contrast tweaked in PS.

Oh, btw art school rocks. :)

A huge deviation from my usual drawings.
30 mins in Photoshop.

Still trying to keep up the one painting a day thing.
Hmm. How long can I last.
