A Lifetime WaitingA Lifetime Waiting:
By Robin Nederlof.
Eyes like ocean blue.
A body beyond my wildest dream.
The first time I saw you.
I told myself, I had never seen.
Butterflies inside of me.
You just aren't from this planet.
How come you are all I see.
While you are so far out of my league, damn it!
Even if I would be surrounded.
By thousands of women who look so pretty.
I would still pick you out of it.
Because you are the only one I see.
Rejected again and again.
I guess I was never in your plan.
For another man you fell.
And turned my life into a hell.
He had everything I didn't have.
A pretty face and a great voice.
My head kept on repeating his laugh.
It made me believe he was the right choice.
But I never gave up on you.
As tears turned into a waterfall.
And my feelings were so blue.
Hoping to be awakened by your call.
Being realistic is the hardest thing.
I just can't accept we don't have that fling.
And why is a word I said so many times.
Why is the word that comes up in all my

It was a cold and rainy night.
You said you wanted me.
The room was old and soggy, just right...
To be there with you made my feelings go free.
It was a lousy apartment in a lousy street.
And we felt real love, we felt the heat.
We let our lips get in touch, hugged each other.
I felt great feelings and nothing did bother.
Holding her in my arms, to prevent her from harm.
I still remember, she was so warm.
Outside the stars flew by, she really loved me.
She fell asleep and I stood up to see.
I gazed through the window, to look into space.
Trying to think of the other things that did matter.
But all I could see was your face.
And again it made me forget about the letter.
The letter, the letter I should never have read
It was only meant for you and now it's stuck in my head.
It would have been better if I had never seen.
But it did occur to me, how strange you had been.
I just had the feeling you were hiding something from me.
Something you would never ever

Someone special was taken away from me.
A person shot his gun just like that.
I ran to the hospital just to see.
Who did this had to be totally mad.
Two bullets right in the head.
I still can't get that picture out of my memory.
Why? Why is the answer I get.
How is this possible, why can I see it so clearly?
Day after day, night after night.
Trust me it isn't a pleasant sight.
I figured the only way I could take this away.
Is to let the one who did this pay.
I started to collect stuff that had to do with the murder.
The police had given up on the case, they didn't want to go further.
I was mad and getting more mad every day, but I had to get my mind at ease.
To solve this puzzle piece by piece.
It went well, I got closer every day.
Trust me my loved one I will avenge you, he will pay.
I can smell the coward hiding in his corner.
If everything goes well he is a goner.
The big day came, I had prepared everything.
I loaded my gun, it was a nice shiny thing.
Will You Marry Me?Will You Marry Me?Will You Marry Me?9 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
By Robin Nederlof.
When we met, time went so fast.
Once again life had meaning and color.
Who would have thought our relation would last.
Together we were happy, no one should bother.
Through many things we went.
The fights, discussions and moody days.
Loads of things happened that we didn't planned.
But we got through like the January's February's and the May's.
So, I just want to ask you.
Can we live on like this forever?
The sky will always be blue.
None of our imperfections should matter.
I want to give you this ring.
A token of my love and gratitude.
It's not a fact though it's a thing.
But my love is a fact and it feels real good.
To keep the ring on will take a lot of care.
Like I care about the promises I told.
With me you will always be warm, I swear.
I will never let you feel cold.
All these words are no lies to you or me.
Just take a good look in my eyes and you will see.
I think this is the right moment to ask, will you marry me?

It was weekend and late at night.
We went back home, worn out and tired.
It was dark and silent, no one in sight.
These were the times I really admired.
But good things didn't seem to last very long.
We were young and we had our fights.
Because of this we were stupid and thought wrong.
But we just loved to excel to new heights.
I can still see the image so well.
I was standing in front of his place.
When we suddenly heard a yell.
I recognized the voice, sweat ran down my face.
Who do you think you are messing with.
My friend turned around and spit.
I had this weird feeling and whispered let's run away.
But my friend loved these challenges and he wanted to stay.
The guy appeared in front of us, it was him.
We knew he was a tough one, willing to sin.
More guys appeared, they all had a face like ice.
This time we would pay the price.
Two guys grabbed me, there was nothing I could do.
I would have to see him go through.
Be strong is what I thought, helple

You said you had enough of me.
But I can't believe what you said.
Cause the thing we had wasn't that bad.
Like when you lie, I wouldn't see.
I am like a disease that's always coming back
When you think you are cured I will be there.
In your mind, your thoughts, everywhere.
And put your brains back on track.
I got to tell you this, I saw you last night.
Your hair reflected in the beautiful moonlight.
But you didn't look happy or content.
You tried to look so, but you are a bad pretend.
It's just like I told you, I will always be hanging around.
When there is silence, I am the sound.
There is no medicine that can cure you from me.
I am the medicine you see.
Maybe you acted in some kind of haste.
You said you didn't want me, but you meant the other way.
Perhaps it's because people think I am kind of crazed.
Circumstances made it hard for you to say.
The truth is you want me more than anything.
You are just afraid of the world around you and the people laughing
The BattleThe Battle:The Battle9 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This

The king rides away on his black horse.
I am shaking and my heart is pounding fast.
The general speaks, to comfort his force.
Prepared and ready to fight, but will I last?
This time we fight to conquer the barbarian lands.
I hate this king, who tries to turn everything to his hands.
He has a heart of stone, using everyone as tools of war.
Always letting us fight alone while he flees so far.
To look at us and maybe admire at the top of a hill.
Looking at the slaughter and waiting for that one kill.
Waiting for the enemy's leader to be slain.
To see and grin upon his death and the pain.
I really don't understand anything of this.
Why do they say all of us will end in the abyss?
I quickly snapped out of my thoughts, to see.
Seeing my men, with white faces and trembling of fear.
To smell how frightened they are, they want to flee.
I try to comfort them by talking about now and here.
The time has come, the time to fight.
Finally it had come this far, the enemi

First Violins: (The love that dare not not speak its name).
Thunder and darkness,
As sudden as a moment’s comfort,
Have thy will, shy mutual flame,
I saw it.
Second Violins: Unasked, unasked,
The lines were made
‘Tween eye and eye,
I and thee,
Engross’d and lost in this nymphly syzygy.
Pianoforte, First Violins, Second Violins, Violas: (The love that dare not leave its name unspoken,
This love so precious, potentate in that I am thine).
The conjunction above the overcome moon,
Caelus, Saturnus, Tellus,
Trapped in godly syzygy
Fain whisper in mine ear this lyric:
She that thou dost
Meet in instants when all that is other
Is a world apart
And yet do not realise any further meaning
Flutes: For thou hast a private jest
See, this morrow, those days are yest,
Whereupon thou shalt, had thou not have guessed,
Take weeks to mull,
And only by intercession delivered
From resistance proffered
Against that which might only b

gotta say this now before you go away...
cant live a life, when your not around,
without you beside me,
my world is just tumblin down...
Like a clown i put on a show,
playing it clear yet nobody knows...
behind my mask im crying inside,
without you beside me,
these tears will not subside...
So let me say one thing before you go,
keep these words in your mind so that you'll always know,
that where ever you go,
and whatever you do...
that in my heart,
ill always love you...
Memories of a FutureSink into her silencing gems of blue;Memories of a Future9 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
The story that she whispers can't be heard by anyone,
Except the reflection from your mirror.
Too immersed within her reality;
Her illusion sweeps away all of your doubts.
Too blind to see that,
Beneath the shimmering eyes,
Lies another realm of scorching flames,
That don't repent for their mistakes.
Flicking on and off;
From beauty to contempt,
Innocence to deception;
Two puddles of teal, each within a canvas of white,
No longer do they speak of idealistic futures.
"Caution!" reads the cracked glass that was once her grace.
Slithering through your wounds, bitter and fierce;
The words swim with your blood,
Shouting the name of that which they despise,
Drowning the very heart that requires it to breathe,
Piercing through the flesh, not a word of remorse.
Never pulling the blade out--forcing it through the other end.
Don't look at the skin that covers her soul.
A pale glow of hope,
Draped underneath her sorrows,
It touches your spirit; releases the w
Symphony: 2nd - StasisOn Rue de Comte St Germain, we ran to MontrealSymphony: 2nd - Stasis7 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Violas, Snare Drum, Flutes, Trumpets: We were trying to kill
An immortal man
To steal the secrets of the Comte.
For so long mystics, we had meditated
Upon elongating our humanity for so
That to shadow him from his visitation,
Then take up full pursuit,
Not sure whether we ran in the realm of man or the realm beyond,
We felt our victory approach.
Tubas, Timpani: The liars of the occult
Claimed to have met him,
Conveniently implying that he didn’t exist,
He greeted those who would guard him from us gladly:
We followed different secrets.
Vibraphone, Violas (pizzicato): Be fully aware,
That there are volumes filled with answers
Hidden in baked-clay, stone-bound repositories,
Forms, dynasties and incantations
The location of the Lake of Clear Water,
Or the mystery of man,
Even in these tomes, where we learnt
In partnership, all of our ways,
There were but hints of the Comte St Germain.
I Want YouI want to scream your name,I Want You8 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
as loud as I can.
I want you here beside me,
right now and forever.
I want to whisper your name,
with my breath tickling your ear.
I want you in my bed,
to keep me warm during the lonely nights.
I want you in the day,
so I can see you shinning light.
I want you at night,
to keep the darkness at bay.
I want you to hold me,
safely in your arms.
I want you to kiss me,
with such tenderness on my lips.
I want you to hold my hand,
to prove that you are mine.
I want you to say I love you
to prove that my fears are not true.
I just want you.

I feel like nothing can bring me down now,
When im in your arms,
When im in your house, in your bed
The warmth from your body lulls me into a deep sleep
Filled with thoughts of us together
Im so sorry for whats happened to you,
I'll still love you forever & through this whole thing
Im not letting go of you now.
Lean on me, be stronger than you've ever been.
These problems aren't new, they've been seen.
But i bet you never thought that they would happen to you.
You've been through this before, your caring heart grew sore
I dont want this to hurt you anymore.
But dont worry, You'll be fine i know you will
Your pride so strong.
The doctors must be wrong.
You'll get out of this and be happier than ever.
You'll stay witty smart and clever.
Sorry this isnt the best poem ever.
I just love you so much.
You deserve much more than this.
You deserve a tale, a book, a novel.
But i cant give you that,
All i can offer is my everlasting love
And pray thats enough,
I Pray that u wont
