Pt. 13 The Fifth Dragon
From inside my cell, I could hear Ben's screams. Those weren't normal screams from what I could tell.
I could also hear the voices of two other people. I assumed it was his parents.
"Behind us is Titus, as well as some baby dragons." They explained.
I could hear footsteps: It was Sarah! I tried to run towards her but chocked a little. I remembered I was still chained by my ne

Okay, honey. You know were all behind you! Alex Weekards was about to leave for his journey. He had delayed being a pokemon trainer until he had graduated high school. Most of his immediately family was there for a going away party.
Thanks everybody. I wont let you down! He got on his bike, waved to his family one last time, and took off for the mountains. The teenager was ecstatic that he would finally be going on his journey. It had taken the limit of his self control and discipline to stay home as long as he did. There was something about training he had always loved. Maybe it was how the team was always like a family. Alexs cousin had been a trainer, and he and his Empoleon acted more like brothers than partners. He loved his family, but going out and starting his own,

Justin was finally off from work, and it was an exhausting day. He worked at Panera, trying to get enough money together to pay for his car and save up for college at the same time. For some reason, today, everybody had wanted a sandwich, and they wanted it with extra mayonnaise. He was tired for sure, and threw down his bag containing his uniform against the wall while he fell into bed. Justin was a high school senior, or would be when the next year started. He had turned eighteen the month before, and was about five foot nine. He had brown hair, and had a muscular build, but mainly a runner's build. He was on the track team, not a star player, but he was good at what he did. He was taking the summer to earn some extra money. He didn't like his job but he put up with it.
He started to pick himself up a bit, and got over to his gamecube controller. It was currently hooked up to the Game Boy Player, and his favorite video ga

He spent half of his childhood in the orphanage and the other half working odd jobs around the city. He was trying to save up for his greatest dream, to be a pokemon trainer. Okay Golduck, were going out today! Dalan said as he woke up his faithful side kick, Golduck. He had been Dalans partner since day one, and Dalan had taken special care of him when he was a psyduck, always being patient when the pokemon ignored him, and helping through his head aches. After he evolved into a Golduck, the two had been best of friends, and where always working together.
Dalan had lived near the sea for most of his life. His father had been the captain of a fishing trolly, so he had gotten used to sea life at an early age. Unlike every other kid at his High School, he had no desire to be a trainer. His ties to the ocean were to strong for such a huge land journey. Twenty years old, he was pretty fit. Life on the water tends to involve a lot of work. He stayed clean shaven, and always wore a button up shirt and jeans, when he wasnt in his d

"Hah! Metal Garurumon! I believe that makes game!"
"Gahhh!" Yelled Ned. "Holy Cow Davis! How do you keep winning!"
"Skill!" But that wasn't it exactly it. Both of Davis's parents were surgeons, and had cash to spare. He could order any specific card he wanted online, giving him the rich kid advantage. "Come back when you can be a challenge." Ned had a few choice words for the brat, but had his better judgement about him. He collected his cards, and went on his way.
Ned was a sophomore in high school. He was generally enjoying his first semester. Most of his teachers were pretty cool, and he had a lot of friends. At 5'9'', he wasn't short, but not tall either. He had brown hair, and brown eyes. With no real distinguishing features, he was very average.
He took the path out of the park back to his house, and admired

The boy neared a large apartment building where he lived and standing at the entrance was his friend Sarah, she was thirteen as well, she had red hair tied back, she wore a black t-shirt, brown shorts and white sneakers.
"Alex! Where have you been? I've been waiting for you for nearly twenty minutes!" she said frustrated, Alex stopped in front of her looking miserable but said nothing.

Alex had been following the piyomon past the meadow and through a small forest trail until she came to a stop was breathing heavily.
"hey, you okay?" he asked conserned.
"I'm exhausted ..I'm not used to .. running everywhere, I usually fly" she said gasping and holding her injured wing.
Alex then noticed that her wing had a deep cut and was still bleeding.
"Stay put, I'm gonna find something to wrap up that wing" he said and she complied, Alex checked around and found a bush of large green leaves growing nearby, he sniffed them first and then picked a couple.
Alex went back over to the Piyomon and knelt down to clean her wing.
He used the first leaf to wipe the blood away then wrapped the second around her wing and he then pulled out his shoelaces to tie it on.
"I just realized I don't even know your name" he asked as he tied the makeshift bandage.
"Oh right, its Kira, what's your name?" she asked.
"I'm Alex......there! This should sto

Matthew was eating lunch in the school cafeteria. Well, eating. The hamburger he had been nibbling on for the past few hours could double as a hockey puck. Really he was day dreaming. Today was the day he finally picked up his costume. There were two things he kept hidden from everybody, his love of pokemon, and the fact that he wanted to be one. In order to move that much closer to his desire, he had ordered a costume a few weeks ago from a local shop. It was expensive, to say the least, but, from the look of this guys previous work, worth it. He had gotten a Flygon costume, under the guaranty that he would know exactly what it felt like to be a Flygon, whatever that meant. He just wanted to put the thing on and act like a dragon or a bit. He would have some time for it. His parents would be gone for a day.
Earth to Matthew! He came back with a jolt. I said what di

"This kid's a fighter." The female grunt holding my right arm grunted.
"Let me and Dave go!" I yelled again, struggling even harder.
"Don't worry, he'll be in there soon enough." The male holding my left arm assured.
"Dile!!!" Dave, my totodile, shouted as he was thrown into the second test chamber in the laboratory. It was quickly closed before he could react.
"NO! I- Ack!" They threw me inside with such force that I had a hard time getting back up. "What are you going to do with us?!" I shouted in rising fear.
A voice came from a speaker inside the tube. "We don't care about your stupid pokemon; we only need it for what we are about to do to you."
I froze and fought back the bile rising in my throat. "W-what are you going to do to me?" I couldn't hide the fear in my voice. I had always been the type that got easily

"Oh cool! A Ralts!" Keel said as he walked down the route. He was only ten years old at the time, old enough for a trainer's license, but lacking in one. Not that Keel didn't like Pokemon, quite the opposite, he just didn't want to train any of them. He had always wanted a pet though, one that would be a great friend to him, and would always stick by his side.
Needless to say that the Ralts in question had known about the human for some time. She had not run, since she could detect his happy emotions and feelings. Most of the humans that came down this route were trainers, and, though they were nice, they usually had a hint of aggression required to be a trainer. This human seemed friendly enough to approach though. She walked over to him and, so that only a few feet separated the two.
"Wow, I've never been this close to a Ralts before." Keel was in sheer delight over this. He reached out slowly and patted the little pokemon on the head. It just smiled and the at

Jerry was finally making it out to the lake. He had spent the previous day in town, ordering new supplies, and taking care of his pokemon. Today, he was determined to relax in the lake with his Vaporeon, his other's were being looked over by the professor. He wasn't able to get up at the crack of dawn like Jessica had, but he was still pretty early. "I wonder if she liked the lake?"
Jessica was laying on the bottom of the lake, watching a Goldeen and Mudkip play with each other. She hadn't even had her body for 24 hours, and Jessica was already feeling like it was her own. Seeing a Ledian flying over the surface of the lake, she swam up. Her powerful form breaking the surface of the water was quite a majestic sight. "Hello Lameah!"
The Ledian bowed his head. "Hello Guardian! I saw a human walking into the area. My mate asked me to tell you."
Jessica looked concerned. It was now her duty to protect this spot. "Thank you for telling me. Could you descr
The WiiSo BORED... I banged my head on my desk for a good half an hour trying to relieve my boredom. I got up and headed to the nearest Gamestop when something bumped my foot on the way out of the door. It turned out to be an umarked box that was beaten up somewhat. "Strange... I don't remember ordering anything." I brought it inside and opened it to find a brand new Wii with a game other than Wii Sports. It was the game I was just going out to get! Getting somewhat excited at this gift that someone had given me, I found a note that said:
I'd thought that you might want this so I got it for you. Use it with extreme caution.

"Outa' the way, shrimp!"
The next thing he knew, Takato was laying on his backpack, in the hall outside his classroom.
Guilmon bent down next to his partner and silently offered Takato his clawed hand as they both glared at his assailant.
Rich was one of the worst kind of bullies. Large, thickly built, and with a brain the size of a chickpea. Rich sneered down at Takato, struggling to get up with a backpack full of heavy books.
"You better stay outa my way from now on, shrimp." Rich glared.
"Yah," chimed in Riches Digimon, a gray, rabbit looking Gazimon. "And that goes for your dumb lizard pet, too."
The two bullies guffawed loudly and headed into the back of the classroom while Takato and Guilmon sat near the windows in the front.
It had only been two years ago that Takato had helped defeat the D-Reaper, and only a few months after that the boundaries

I knew not where I was or how long I was in darkness but I felt safe. The place I was in felt large at first and full of a strange liquid at first but eventually the liquid went away and I felt more and more cramped. In the beginning I could not remember who I was or what had happened before that fateful day but everything gradually came back in bits and pieces. Nothing seemed to matter about what had happened before, however, as I knew that as long as I stayed in here I would be protected. But I knew that I'd have to leave sometime.
I began to hear noises outside of my safe haven and it made me curious. I put my head next to the ro
