Our first kiss made the power surge…
We pulled away in laughter.
Our second conjured lightening
from the rain drenched
Your glasses freckled with raindrops.
Sixteen droplets. I counted.
Each one magnified brilliant
eyes that I kissed with my own.
Your kisses fuel my childish heart
like lollipops and root beer floats
with vanilla ice cream foam.
They taste much better
when your lips taste them too.
My lips energize when yours find mine…
I feel static in my fingertips
every time they brush your face.
We are electric, you and I.

The blackness of my soul, more dark than panthers nads.
The sadness I feel, so sads, so sads.
Everyone hates me, I'm so alone,
Here, online, where everyone pwn's.
But not me…I'm so hard done to I say,
Using Daddy's money all day on eBay.
But he hates me, as does Mom,
I know, as they only give me one
Hundred dollars a week.
I mean, who gets that? Only an unloved geek…
So that is why I became Goth,
To show all those who stare and mock.
With my dyed black hair and long metal chains,
I laugh at the people, they're all the same.
But not me and my friends, we don't conform.
We're unique, we're not the norm.
Just because we all dress alike,
All wearing huge boots and long metal spikes,
Doesn't mean we're the same, oh no no sir,
We're just more clever than you, it's obvious duh!
Or maybe I'm Emo, who is to tell?
Maybe I'm atheist, going straight to hell.
But that's okay, 'cause hell's better than here,
Where people mock and people jeer.
They keep on saying I'm gay, but why?
Is it because I'm o

Statement #1: Wolves have never attacked people before.
Truth: Has teeth, will bite! You cannot exclude captive wolves from this sort of statement. Any predatory animal can and will bite under the circumstances. There is plenty of documentation that shows wolves have indeed been known to attack humans, including the natives. This is, of course, taking into account rabid, healthy, provoked and unprovoked wolves. But the main focal point being that wolves HAVE attacked people before. One of the most famous pieces of literature documenting wolf attacks is Wolves in Russia by Will N. Graves and Valerius Geist.
Statement #2: Ok, but there has never been a documented case of a healthy wolf killing a human in North America.
Truth: There are in fact two that recently happened over the past 6 years, Candice Berner and Kenton Carn

Please do not cry for me when I tell you this, if you do cry, let it be of happiness because I do not regret this at all.
This is not something easy for me to share, this is not crying over getting good grades on a report card or learning to ride a bicycle. It isn't some simple life decision that can be altered some point in the future, this is a serious reality for me. I have known since I was very young that I was different, I felt as though I didn't belong somehow and at that age I wasn't very conscious of anything I could do to change the situation for better.
I have known something about myself that I was afraid to share, or didn't know how to put into words since the age of thirteen. I knew younger, but it was a different kind of knowing, not the educated kind where it was explainable in any way. You might say it had something to do with the fact that I was dressed a certain way than maybe would have been the norm, but honestly, my clothes are irrelevent.

Is someone trying to hurt you, because you're gay, or different in any other way?
It gets better, it really does, I can promise you.
In middle school, I was bullied, probably for the same reasons as you. It's okay now, even though the memories still hurt, I made a change in my life.
Always remember, you're beautiful, no matter what anyone else says. I don't need to know you to know that.
And anyone who gets a kick out of hurting you...it's because they're a lonely, empty, unhappy person.
If you ever need to talk to someone, I'm here.
I love you.

we like to hear things like 'you're beautiful' and
'i'd die without you' but deep inside we always know
you don't mean it.
and it just tears us apart slowly, no matter how much
we love those poisonous lies.
and when you ask 'are you okay?', we're going to
answer with 'i'm fine'. and you'll hear that
even if our bones are shattering inside of us and
our hands are trembling from all the hurt that we go through.
because we play our music too-loud-to-bear so that,
when we're all alone,
it chases away the thoughts that come with the silence:
things that haunt our nightmares and reasons why
we don't like to be alive.
we leave too many s p a c e s between our letters because
that's how we feel. all a.l.o.n.e.
and maybe you'll change that for a little while, but

To the person grading this poem
To the kind, patient woman hovering over this with a pen
Waiting to say kind, patient words in response, do me a favor:
Dont Patronize me.
I did not slave over this with hammer and anvil
Shaping it into a masterpiece.
I didnt paint it onto the ceiling of some church,
Going blind from the pain and the stress.
I didnt even turn this in on time.
And while Im writing this in my fifth-period economy class,
You can bet Im not concerned with iambs and troches and Italian terza rima.
No, Im concerned with how much water is left in my water bottle.
This isnt a masterpiece.
Who are we kidding?
Youre not going to hurt it, and you most certainly arent going to hurt me.
Dont patronize me.
I want you to destroy my work.
I want you to rip it to shreds with sadistic dominatrix glee.
Tear it apart from margin to margin;
Laugh openly at its crippled, struggling body.

Basics of Make Up!
A lot of people asked to give them advice about how to do make up, so I collected the important things. But I'm not saying that eyeryone should do it in this way, I just want to give some help.
So here you go :
Some advices for choosing your make up-type:
- first, you need to make sure which colours fit your skintone! For example, if you have a bit darker skintone, brown hair and brown eyes, never use blue eyeshadow on the upper eyelids! It's very important, you don't want to look tasteless. Apply the colour and ask your friends, how does it look on you, or ask a professional.
Simple or Dramatic?
- unfortunately dramatic make up with bright colours and bold eyeliner doesn't fit everyone. Make sure you didn't overdo your everyday look.
- so which shade emphasize your eyecolour? Examine the colour wheel: the complementer colours are in front of each other, they're opposites (green-red, blue-orange, yellow-purple) they emphasize each other. You ca

I would like to point out a few basic things before we begin.
You are a part of deviantART, which is a community with a vast population of individuals.
These individuals have their own opinions, views, talents, etc. They, also, have distinct personalities and attitudes. These deviants are here for their own personal reasons, as are you. They're people.
You, being a part of deviantART, must understand that you'll be sharing your art, opinions and sometimes even life, on this very public website.
You must accept that, out of the big mass of individuals, several will not agree with what you do or what you think, several will not like your art, your posts, your journals, everyth

Just a Flesh WoundMatt starred down at the motionless body of the criminal, his head seeping blood from his recent blunt weapon injury. Rubbing the stubble on his chin, he tilted his head, turning to see the stunned expression frozen on the KO'd man's face. As he pushed back the long tail of his trenchcoat, he bent down to better inspect the wound. With a bit of a confused and critical expression, he eyed his partner quizzically.Just a Flesh Wound4 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
"Must you pistol-whip everyone?"
"Only the ones who are about to get away." Leon replied, replacing the bloodied gun into its holster, putting his sunglasses back on to hide his eyes and sharp cheekbones. "Now, help me drag him to the ambulance and let NARC deal with the rest. I can't stand the smell of bad cocaine."
Scratching his short, dark hair, he swept down, sweeping up the perpetrator's arm with his long, muscled appendage. He nodded to Matt to take the other, and the young detective grudgingly complied, helping to haul the drug dealer across the dusty floor.

I lift my naïve hand to
turn yet another soft, but harshly uncertain page after
Varying in intensities, my emotions spike and dip
as the lines that warn
of seismic activity.
Licking my lined lips, rubbery and cool.
Biting the skin at the edges of my fingernails,
(proof that even comfort and familiarity are capable of drawing blood)
and periodically I glance to my
sun-darkened right shoulder to push the pink strap of a bra
that seems to always break or slip off in your presence.
(it has taken to the practice.)
There is a place on the right side of my jaw
where I suspect and invisible bug must have began to pace.
Maybe it is in a bug waiting room,
stationed on my sun-kissed skin,
nervously waiting for the results of some
bug health test.
Since the underside of my fingernails
constantly divert my attention from the point
where it once wandered forwards
as a cautious child

What do you have to show for yourself?
Did you help the world?
Did you seek the attention of others when servicing the crimes of hypocritical morons?
Did you care when those children died?
How much have you sacrificed to save another?
Did you cry when faced with adversity?
Did you live?
Did you breathe?
Did you dream a dream that corrupted your life?
Free yourself from the insanity of this forgotten world among us.
Live not according to the ways of the world today.
Choose your own path.
Make your own statements.
Be the change.
