Death's Little SacrificeSitting alone weak and wearyDeath's Little Sacrifice1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
On a dark night cold and dreary
Waiting for the spirit of death
To take away your final breath.
You've spent too long doing crime,
And now you've run out of time.
You've done your deeds now you'll pay the price.
Now, you'll be the sacrifice.
Do you hear the spirit of death arrive?
He knows this fate is for what you've strived.
He'll bring you to the gates of Hell
Where he'll perform the final spell
To set his legions upon the earth.
Your life will be the apocalypse's birth.
A splash of blood and a guilty soul.
You've brought upon a future most foul.

For all those who are weird and low.
This, my dear, is a carnival of fears
That only appears once every thousand years.
Come one, come all to this horrid fun.
If you're a skeptic of gore, you'd better run.
We promise to fulfill your deepest desires, so nice,
But don't fail to remember that there always a price.
You can have your fun, your night of glee,
A frightening experience that's completely free,
Except for the token of your soul.
We know most of you perceive us as foul,
But don't try to rat us out,
Or you'll be imprisoned where you'll scream and shout,
Because you played our little game, a foolish feat.
We'll disappear at night leaving only blood on the concrete.
