Eternus AmicitaWe've been here before I know.Eternus Amicita4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Everlasting in this broken scene.
We struggle to survive the moment.
But two in one we've been.
Best friends since the beginning,
Staying so static until the end.
We watch each other get hurt,
But are always there to mend.
You were always there for me,
I'll remember this, in you debt.
We share all those memories,
No one better I have met.
We read each others minds,
Know what we want to do.
I'll never again meet someone,
Who's ever as crazy as you.
I pray that we'll stay together,
We'll live through stuggles and strife.
I know I love you as my own,
You'll be my friend for all my life.

Infinite SacrificeGood day everyone, have you heard?Infinite Sacrifice4 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
All these great men come to town.
Bring everyone you know; spread the word.
Make sure everyone comes down.
These are the men that fought for you.
The ones who lost dear friends.
The young boys inside gone too.
The ones who managed to escape the end.
Horrors we have never faced,
Tragedies we never will.
Through the mud they paced,
Confronted with a monster to kill.
A mission bound them by the wrists,
A country for them to protect.
They fought with iron fists,
Smothered with death up to their neck.
Courage and determination, one for all;
They would push on, no matter the cost.
Even the stron

Chain My DesiresChains bound this love gone awry,Chain My Desires3 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
I lie awake each night and still wonder why,
Drown my tears with lust and fill me sweet,
With a sensous love full of passionate heat.
A dream each night I am plagued to repeat,
Send truth in love given complete,
For I shall never again try and seek,
Something I thought could make my life complete...

Through these the gates of mystery
See there, the grinning Cheshire cat?
He's your guide, your wondrous gat.
Little Alice, fear not the sound
Of stilted singing, round and round.
Demented dreaming all a sound,
Fushigi no kuni.
Ah, the flashing sword of red, the singing man of blue
The queen of green and little twins
Of yellow golden hearts!
But fear them not, my little child, and look out past them all.
Come on and look out past the borderlands
Fushigi no kuni.
See out there, those mushroom shapes?
Those out there are dreams.
Dreams of children, small and large.
Gobanme Arisu, tend them well,

Keeps Getting OlderI feel less like twenty sevenKeeps Getting Older3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
And more like thirty five.
All the running around I've done
Makes me older than my time.
I'm not one to hold onto
My age
but all this partying
Doesn't feel the same.
I'd give it all up
If I had something to
Replace it with.
Yet staring at the
Wood and walls of my prison
Drives me farther insane
And enables my debt.
Often times I feel so alone
It's true that misery loves
Company so off I go.
Though every night before I
Close my eyes I think there's
Got to be more than this
I hang on even as I swear
It's the last time.
My house is not my home
My life doesn't seem my own.
For my sins I've ye

As footsteps close with muted falls
Silenced by grass and whispered voice;
To mark the time throughout this choice
What should be used to help recall?
The seconds themselves would not suffice
To detail emotion; we must be precise
Perhaps record my thoughts, if you could find a way;
But alas they've frozen, still as ice
Though the air and trees know enough of days
Noting both drab and special with eternal gaze
But they remain static as this scene unfolds
The hills surround, all set ablaze
As closing rays paint the attendance gold.
Now at my side with an offered hand
And time stands still in our embrace
Only Gods could tell of yo

The law's got it in for me
Sure enough the sirens
Run me down
He pulled me over
Classic Andy Griffin style
Now he's Barney Fife come to
Lay a ticket down
He said you were going 36 in a 35
One mile over's still a crime
I went to unwind at my favorite dive
And on the way out the door
My car got backed into twice
I got the bad luck blues
There's nothing I can do
Got this cloud raining down
Won't let the good vibes through
Way home, two am
Ran off the road
By an angry, drunk, black man
Punch to the face
Still buckled in place
I think I really need
From this life to escape

Cheap perfume signals the end of the day
Her lover sings a song of little guile
While, men in kilts begin to sway.
Diamonds sparkle to be a girl's best friend
Yet, lovers never leap unless they believe
We will always be never there in the end
A shadow of our former selves up far in the eave.
Leaves flying in the wind of change
Bellowing on bagpipes for lovers hand
Needles of passion bite like of a man of derange
Killing me with pillows and flicks of the wand
I hate the bleakness of the fellows beyond
Like crows they fly in murderous streaks
Flying across the sky to a new day dawned

Music perfect tone
In the smokey atmosphere
Conversation easily flows
Laughter dances with the whiskey
Some of the regulars already feeling frisky
The door revolves
All heads turn
Names are called
Hugs exchanged
Hello's floating all around
Before a seat is saved
Yeah down in the valley
Down in a bar
We're at Rednecks
Where everyone's a star
You can hear the crack of the balls
From the table in the back
Weather your a novice or a pro
We're sure to let you know
Your welcome to give it a go
Drop another dollar in the jukebox
And everybody sings along
But when it's Saturday night
Open mic
Everyone's ears ar

He walks in darkness alone like a panther on the hunt,
Craving the first taste of the freshest kill knowing he can and will control the every growing pain of the Hunger. To give in is to commit ultimate sin one he would never allow damning himelf to.The immortal is to be forever lost in anguish to live the daily pain of a thirst denied. He cleans the streets on his path only taking from those diseased in mind, the killers, the vile filth on the earth. The pain to endure the sick minds allows him to vent some of the hunger his ever longing desire enflames. But to dwell in the land of the sinful is in itself a desperate lif

Arcadian FoundThe days faded together with no sounds cept for his own breathing, Abel started to worry that they were going to let him die of insanity in the little room he was being held in. Occasionally he heard a high lilting voice singing off key and the sounds of feet skipping somewhere in the corridor.Arcadian Found3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
It was comforting in an odd way it made him feel a little less alone, although he realized that whoever was outside probably had no idea he was here. His arms and feet had grown numb and he felt his strength waning away. Though guards would stop by with food for him, if he didn't need it to survive he wouldn't eat it for it was humiliating to be fed.

While eating all my hopes and ingesting all my dreams?
All I ever was to you was a simple metaphor,
While you were the rhythm of my heart.
Can you see the inequality or am I
The only one who cares anymore?
How did our beats slow and cease,
turn to dust and decay?
Well maybe our tempo got out of sync,
but it's no excuse for what you've become.
If it was only ever a lie,
then why try to hide
from the fact that it's over, all over?
You were always there,
Though not really around.
Every time I said your name,
I never heard a sound.
How could we go on,

As she searches night and day,
For her newest prey.
Her bittersweet kiss,
With which she will never miss,
Leaves rest and peace,
But also hurt and grief
Death still smiles,
She always does,
As she extinguishes a flame,
And again, she has slain.
Her enchanted touch,
For which she asks too much,
Leaves nothing but desolation,
Destroying all of creation.
Death still smiles,
She always does,
But I smile back,
For it is fear that I lack.
Just try and kiss me,
Poisoned your lips may be,
For I will slip through your grasp,
Until the very last.

"Yeah but we get paid for it." Hanatou muttered and held out the ticket. "Look lots of cash, I can afford to get my roof fixed."
"Oh," Archard groaned, it made sense if only for the cash, "so where is it?"
"Oh um... Waverly Hills, it was an old tuberculosis hospital I think." Hanatou handed him the information from the sponsor. "It's an old fashioned ghost hunt senpai, EVP taking, cameras and stuff like that. Sounds freaking funny."
"You're an idiot." Archard mumbled. "This is so pointless." Hanatou
