Fight For Me -4- NxWhiteI walked quietly through the woods, keeping as close to the tree trunks as possible. The rain was pouring down heavier now and even the canopy of leaves was proving to be less than satisfactory coverage. I could feel the cold water against my arms as it dripped down from the branches above.Fight For Me -4- NxWhite4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
The woods seemed to be getting denser as I traveled further away from the worn path. The grass was getting slightly longer and it tickled against my bare ankles. I dashed quickly out of the grass and onto a dryer patch of earth.
"White, come over here!" I heard an oddly familiar voice call.
I hustled towards the sound, ignoring the fact that it could be an awful idea. In front of me stood Cheren, a small tent already set up. I hustled over to him and ducked under the cover of his tent, sighing in relief.
"Cheren, what are you doing here?" I asked, taking off my hat and pushing my bangs back.
He looked at me and pushed his glasses a little higher on his nose, "I saw you chase after Team Plasma and I

Kirk sat back in his seat and stared up at the ceiling in his quarters. Weighing his options didn't seem to help. Eventually he simply got up and wandered off into the hallway. Making his way through the ship he quickly came to his First Officer's quarters. Kirk swiped his hand across the plate that would announce that he was standing outside.
Come. Spock replied from inside.
Kirk stepped into the room and glanced around at the odd mixture of Vulcan and African décor. Spock was sitting at his desk with the fingertips of each hand gently touching one another, a sure sign that he had been deep in thought when Kirk had disturbed him. Walking over to the desk Kirk sat on it casually, forgetting how much it irritated Spock to have his furniture used in a manner other than it was intended.
So...how did things go on Natala?
As well as could be e

Spock sat on the edge of the bed hunched over with his elbows resting on his knees. He passively watched the blood drip from his face down onto his folded hands, from there it splattered onto the floor. Unchecked the nose bleed continued to slip a slow moving green river over his lips on its journey to the floor.
It wasnt the bloody stain on his hands that held his gaze, it was the plain band ring he wore. Much like the insignia it hadnt been worth fighting him for so he had been allowed to keep it. However, with his wife so far away the once gold metal had faded to a dull and cold steel. He tried to remember Uhuras touch, but it just brought a sharper pain to his heart. Eventually enough blood fell onto his hands to cover the ring.
Spock closed his eyes, but it didnt help block out the voices that had returned. He knew now that the chaotic screa

Spock had paid little attention to the formal ceremony. He stood by the large glass floor to ceiling window staring out into space. Just within view was the immense artificial black hole that had taken his world, visible only from the light distortion it caused commonly known as an Einstein ring. "To live in this world, you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go" -Mary Oliver
It was a red, cloudy day at the Sierra Madre. The sky was, as usual, a thick red. The Villa looked dead, like a old knotted tree. But within its walls, buildings, life . . . or maybe not life, but something, moved through it like blood in the veins. Ghost People shuffled through the streets, out of sight, silent, and for the most part, single minded. They didn't think, didn't feel, didn't have individual ideas. Just hunt, capture, turn. Hunt, capture, turn. Hunt, capture, turn. Hunt, capture, turn.
Seeker was no different. Seeker hunted, captured, and brought the captured into the depths of the Villa. Seeker had never known another life, no Ghost had. Seeker was just anothe

Grey, blood stained fur drifted down in clumps lazily. Hair so dark it was almost black tumbled past a drawn, slightly shocked face. Crimson droplets splattered against that soft, healthy, now rough and pallid, skin, slowly wiping away the shocked expression as the pain finally started to kick in.

Aizen-sama. Yes the Shinigami, the ex-Captain, who had approached the lonely man and girl, with a soft voice - although he hadnt comforted Starrk with his first words.
Wow. Did you kill all of them? These mountain of Hollows? Aizen had asked, his tone gentle, yet curious. He had leaned forward, hands at his sides, a cool smile on his face, looking at the two desolate figures lying in between the dead monsters. They were shivering, for they had no clothes on; only a blanket covered them.
No. They just died. Thats all. Starrk replied, resolu

It's not starvation. Spock is in some sort of self induced coma...
A Vulcan trick no doubt. Kirk noted.
I'm sure that it is, however, despite the calm exterior his green paint thinner blood is boiling with adrenaline, dopamine, seritonin, insulin, testosterone, endorphins...the list goes on.
Those are all hormones.
Yes, and powerful ones at that. They are pushing his organs to the limit, even with his Vulcan physiology given enough time it is going to kill him. Bones looked down on Spock and shook his head. I can't believe that he can hold still, he should be bouncing off the walls like a Timmarian winged swamp rat hopped up on Rigilian mushrooms with all the chemical that are coursing through his veins.
What about his mental state?

Blurry eye and sporting a five oclock shadow McCoy headed down towards medical. After the rescue mission he had been exhausted, and the five hours of sleep he had gotten hadnt done much to change the situation. However he knew that both Saavik and Spock would be waiting for him and he wasnt about to suffer the Vulcans in their quiet arrogance about his human sleeping habits.

Spock woke to an unfamiliar sensation, one he did not find pleasant. Bones would have diagnosed it as a headache. Swallowing against a dry throat he tried to organize his thoughts. The differences between reality and nightmare had started to blur lately. Spock slowly opened his eyes and closed them tightly against the painfully bright light.
Quiet nosies that he couldn't identify mixed with an incoherent muttering that was barely above a whisper assaulted his hearing and caused his blood to flash to ice as fear suddenly lanced through his laboring heart. Irritated by the illogical anxiety Spock ground his teeth together. Realizing that the motion only caused his irritation to escalate into near fury he struggled to control his emotional swings through meditation.
A slow deep breath brought warm air into his lungs, air far warmer than any found on the Enterprise.

Uhura paced in her room anxiously. The Captain had not told anyone why he and the doctor were leaving, but she knew what they were up to. She had wanted so much to go with them, but she knew hed never allow it. Now the waiting was almost more than she could bare.
Anubis became determined to keep her from pacing and started weaving in and out of her legs. Fearing that she was going to trip over the friendly cat Uhura absent mindedly reached down and picked him up. Anubis purred in her arms as she gently stroked him.
Looking down at the cat Uhura caught sight of her wedding band. The metal had been a dull lead colour for so long that she was startled to see it shining a bright silver. As she stared at the metal it increased its luster and began to deepen into gold. She was so fascinated by the change that she didnt even hear the door opening.
Extinction ch 6NOTE from the PHOENIX: A kind reader was nice enough to remind me of Uhura's first name, which Spock really should be using when they are alone. It was one of those things that I meant to look up (cause I didn't quite remember it from the movie) and I never did. I'm so lazy. Giggle. So now I know it! She had been living in this wondrous result of architecture for hundreds of years, but there were still sections of the building that she only visited briefly, sections that she usually paid no mind. However, today, she walked through the hallway of where her faithful servant and ally Sakuya Izayoi recuperated when she was off-duty. Remilia figured she could do something different for a change and pay the young woman a surprise visit. After all, she had nothing better to do. Kirk sat in his place on the bridge watching the beautiful blue aurora of Warp speed. They were heading towards Star Base 17. It was a six day journey from their place near Natala at full Warp, but they were now only a few hours away from their destination. Kirk turned as he heard the elevator doors opening.
Spock stepped onto the bridge with Uhura at his side. She still looked highly stressed, but at least her eyes were alive again now that Spock had returned. Uhura pushed herself up on her tip toe and kissed Spocks cheek. This was an action that at any other time Spock would have discouraged, but he accepted it gratefully and brushed his fingertips against her temple affectionately in response. From the way Uhura smiled Kirk wondered if hed just witnessed a quick mind meld.
Uhura took her place at the communications board. Spock glanced around at the bridge to make sure that everything was in working order. Satisfied he made his way up to the Captain

A technician ran up to them with a tablet and gave them a salute. "Lieutenants!" he cried. Sasha didn't even slow down, leaving Aleksis to take the tablet and dismiss the man with a nod. "You really should pay other people some heed," he said. She didn't reply. It wasn't the first time he'

Flaymore bathed his blade, Orphanmaker, in the souls of the slain, yet the sea of armored opponents never ended. The brawny barbarian's muscles rippled as he cut through metal and bone, flesh and spirit, heart and mind. No one ever sat in the corner of the library where Parker spent his Saturday afternoons, so he was unaccustomed to interruption. Dark Souls: The EndThe sword flew, its fiery blade cleaving the air, swinging straight for my head. Now was the time. I held up my left arm, brandishing the shield taken from one of the towering Black Knights to my left, ready to meet the oncoming blow. Black iron met burning steel in a shower of sparks and embers, as both sword and shield were pushed back. But my foe slightly stumbled back, the recoil of his attack leaving him briefly unbalanced, vulnerable. This was it. Summoning the last of my strength, I lunged forward, letting the burning furysword of Quelaag lead the way. The black, curved, insectoid blade hit home, plunging itself straight into my enemy's heart. Then I raised my leg and kicked him off, allowing him to fall to the ground. He writhed in death throes until disappearing into a mist of tiny white lights, leaving only a floating, bright flame. You know, Spock, for a smart man...or whatever you consider yourself, you dont learn very quickly.
The Vulcans arent going to listen to you. Bones said pessimistically. I know this a difficult concept to accept, but they dont like you.
You are projecting human emotions on Vulcans once again, Doctor. The Council does not dislike me. They simply disagree with me, and the choices I made in life.
Theyre just jealous that you chose us over them. Kirk chuckled. Cant say I blame them.
It was never a question of taking sides, Captain. I came to the logical conclusion that I could do the best good by serving in Starfleet.
Right. Bones said skeptically. Did you have a choice? Were the Vulcans even interest

Standing to Kirk's side in his dress uniform Bones nearly choked on his own spit in reaction to his Captain's sudden outburst. The two delegates from the waring planets froze solid and stared at him in a shocked silence. McCoy took Kirk by the elbow and forced a smile at the delegates.
Excuse us for a moment.
Kirk rolled his eyes slightly as Bones dragged him through the archway into the next room. McCoy was absolutely speechless at first, but after a quick breath he found his voice once more.
Are you out of your mind? McCoy demanded.
I can't listen to them bicker about this any longer, it's ridiculous.
Whatever happened to diplomacy?
That's Spock's area of expertise.

You knew him, Spock?
Briefly. He sought me out two years ago, to aid him in his decision to enter Star Fleet. After reviewing his qualifications I not only suggested he join, I also wrote him a letter of recommendation.
And he was mentally healthy at the time? Bones asked.
Of course, I would not have recommended him otherwise.
How is life at the Academy for a Vulcan? Kirk asked.
I do not understand.
Ninety-nine percent of the cadets and staff are human, it can't be easy for an alien.
Star Fleet Academy is not easy for anyone, it is designed to weed out the weak.
That's not what I meant, Spock. Kirk smiled sadly. I meant on a personal level, I know you had to work twice as hard to prove yourself there.
