The Cats: A Costume Shop TFCome on, Amy, were leaving.
Amy groaned and set down her pencil. At the moment her desk contained a lamp, storage shelves, a few souvenir roller coaster snapshots, a drawing pad, and a National Geographic. The latter was open to a page with a running cheetah. The top page of the drawing pad tauntingly displayed a half-finished sketch of the cheetah, daring Amy to defy her mother and finish it, yet making fun of her predicament at the same time.
Okay, okay, Im coming. She reached for her black hoodie, hurriedly yanking her arms through the sleeves as she trotted out to the front room. Her mother and her little sister Lauren both stood there expectantly. Im ready. Lets go.
The late October air bit at Amys cheeks when they ventured outside. She didnt care much for the cold. Admittedly, she could get overheated sometimes,

Tonight at work they were going to throw a big Halloween party. Everyone was invited and many people were planning to come. You didn't actually have to bring a costume to the party, but where's the fun in that?
Naturally since today was Halloween, every single costume shop was either packed so full of people it was claustrophobic, or every single costume that would fit him had been sold out.
His head fell into his hands as he sighed again thinking, why did I have to wait till today? The next bus pulled up. He began to get on…
…Only for something to catch his eye…
It was a costume shop, only it couldn't possibly be a costume shop. If it really was a costume shop, people would actually be going in and coming out. But instead, the last minute shoppers who
Vixen Costume Prototype TestThe first week of my summer break was interesting, to put it mildly. All right, Ill admit, that was the understatement of the month. My parents work for an electronics corporation, and they were both scheduled to attend an exposition set to take place in California just after school let out. That would mean I would be left alone at home, with absolutely nothing to do outside eating, sleeping, and playing video games. That wouldnt be all that bad, but my parents didnt like that idea. So after some pleading on the part of my mother, the company decided to send me along with them. Thus, two days after school let out, my parents and I were shipped out to California in Business Class on a Delta Airlines flight.Vixen Costume Prototype Test9 years ago in Fantasy More Like This

Ha Ha! Very funny Jimmy. Im trying to find a unique costume. One that will draw attention to me at the party, explained Sally Patterson to a very bored Jimmy.
Look all I know is that you arent going to find a unique costume in a store that only sells mass produced pieces of fabric and plastic. Lets get out of here and try to find somewhere else.
Jimmy and Sally left the tiny store, and began to comb the mall for a place that would sell a unique costume. They wandered through the mall only stopping for a short food break until Sally pointed out a small store called Hallow Hall. The windows were slightly tinted darkening the interior of the store; t

Costume Shop Story - Part 1If I had to call it anything, it would have to be quaint. The town was small, a little suburb of the big city, surrounded on most sides by scrub and farm-land. I had moved here a few months before because the city (much as I loved it) wasn't good for me. It was expensive and noisy, and the pay wasn't covering my expenses.Costume Shop Story - Part 18 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
To help pay bills, I had registered for a website where people posted free-lance work they needed done, and one job had been in the quaint little town. After a while I was looking for jobs out here, I liked it, something appealed to me.
About the fifth or sixth job, someone finally asked if I was looking for work. I said I'd be interested, and found myself supporting several town businesses. It paid the rent (which was cheap out here) and kept me comfortable, but for one thing.
See, I have always enjoyed driving, and this far from the city, with its lights, you could really see the stars.

"Oh, come on, Angel, live a little. This is going to be a WILD costume party, and you don't have a costume at all. You got an invite, didn't you?"
"Well, yeah, but..."
"This is the best costume shop in town. You've gotta give it a try, girl. Who knows, you might find something you'll like."
"Shiane, I hardly have any cash..."
Angel groans, just outside the shop called "The Second Identity". From what her girlfriend was saying, it was a very high-quality shop. She had actually gotten a few costumes there herself. The shop itself was rather obscure, though.
"Trust me, Angel, they are VERY affordable... And if you can't afford the one you want, I'll pitch in. Don't worry about paying me back later," she interrupts before Angel can put in a word edgewise about this payment.

The town like many other medium sized suburbs really wasnt all that impressive however it did make a nice place to live without the hustle of the big city. Nala was hardly one for making a big scene so the town actually fit her quite well. At 4 10 and barely 100 LBS she looked more like a child of 16 then a woman of 18 with a license to drive. Her dark brown hair was kept short, almost military spec and she dressed in faded kakis and a red tee that hung past her hips. On her head though sat the most peculiar of items, a pair of simple costume props ears, power blue, and shaped like a cat.
The Second Identity similarly was a nondescript shop that still seemed to be a little unusual. Nala stood outside examining the exterior like a predator sizing up its prey before she crossed the threshold. After the chime of the door she found herself assaulted by wall to wall costumes, all of exquisite design. Her face never changes from its stern and

I sighed as I looked around.
I couldn't believe that not only had I been able to find a home of my own,(granted this was the country not the residential city I was used to) but also was able to keep one of the computers to use as my own, plus my parents said they'd leave me alone.
I'd recently been chatting up with a friend I met online telling him about the move, my friend had been the one who suggested the place i'd moved to. Though I wasn't all that impressed, the city I had moved to was kinda small, I didn't really pay attention to the name of the city though I did manage to find an apartment with a low rent cost, and there was a grocery store nearby, still, I couldn't help but think that I was missing something.
I looked at the calender and sighed, Halloween was just around the corner, and I still didn't have a costume, not that I thought I needed one, it was just that most people wore costumes

His intention had been just one of a dozen feline forms but the work almost took on a life of its own. Nalas dream energies were imbuing the suit with abilities and skills that had to come from her own perception of her fursona, even if she never admitted to its existence. But the real challenge came in the design. The suit was semi sentient, he knew that the moment he started manipulating the essence, her energies were just so strong for it not to. But he knew from his talk she and the suit would reject each other if they personalities didnt mesh, and this suit had all the classic attributes of a catgirl by Nalas perceptions.
Ultimately the solution he came up with was quite brilliant, if he did say so himself, instead of a single suit it was composed of numerous components that all shared
