Finally, just as the last of the Halloween decorations were being put down, a cold silence spread over Halloween Town. All the lights were turned off, and, while all of the vampires came out to roam, all of the undead and beasts went to bed, to sleep in a sweet, deathly slumber. The Mayor left to sleep in his mansion, Lock, Shock, and Barrel were in their small beds, Zero was deep in his grave site dreams, Sally was dreaming about Jack, and Jack was dreaming about Sally. All was back to normal, and peaceful (at least, as peaceful as Halloween Town ever gets).
However, something stirred in the moonlight. But it wasn't a werewolf, vampire, undead, or of any ghostly form. He was in no way scary, and, not being scary in Halloween Town, now that was peculiar.
