With the NBA Finals going on as I post this (Lakers-Celtics), I figured it was appropriate. I'm trying to think of the best Basketball pun to use here.... Two Points! Slam Dunk! Nothin' but net! ..... Let's see what you guys come up with!

An homage to those fantastic sexy spies of the '60s, like Emma Peel, Modesty Blaise, and Honey West.
Director's Commentary: Years ago I had an idea for a character named Penelope Jewel (She's the one there in the black leather) who was to be an undercover spy with a penchant for being captured. While it never came to fruition (as most ideas never do) I've used the character in many of my drawings, not in that outfit per se, just the character in general (You can recognize her by the hairstyle) In fact, she will grace the cover of Volume 2 of "Sensual Distress" (available April 2009 from SQP Inc. .... Volume 1 is available now at SQP and at AMAZON.com)

First up, I did this years ago (6+) and I think I had a reference picture when I did. For the life of me I can't remember what the reference picture was (a color comic book image, I think), but I recall that all I used from it was the positioning of the arms and hands, which I was originally planning on putting behind her back, as is the case in the painting I am working on (see the scrap of it's wip here--Beware: Mature Content on the wip!).
Anyway, if anyone out there recognizes the image from somewhere else, please let me know so I can link to it and even ask the original artist for permission (well, it's kinda' late, isn't it?).
(Edited August 23, 2006: By strange fortune I have come across the artist in question, whose work I used for reference and which work was lost to him after a hard-drive crash. This gracious individual happens to be a long-term DA member, loraxxx , whose work I admire. Needless to say, I am pleased with the way this whole experience has turned out, and I send credit my new friend's way for his inspirational computer work that popped this image into my head. Muchas Gracias!)
By the way, my experience is that snakes stink. They smell really bad. I'm not into exotic pets. In fact, I'm not into pets of any kind. Not even dogs, cats, birds, or fish. Certainly not ferrets, hedgehogs, or a snake! I read the other day about a pet python that attacked its owner, did horrible damage to his arm, was wrestled off of him by three policemen, and finally shot and killed by said policemen. Yeah, that's my idea of a rewarding master-pet relationship! Sign me up! Does it come with a nose-plug and bandages...?
PS. I apologize to all those pet-owners and pet-lovers out there. God bless you and your animals...
In Reno Girls Wrestling, when you get tied up in the ropes, you get TIED UP IN THE ROPES!
I always wish they had a match where the girls had to try and tie each other up rather than just pin them... Or do they already? If they have that type of match, then I wish they had a League! (... or would it be a Federation?)
My dream video game would be "Rumble Roses:Reno Girls Edition!" I'd play that til I was RAW!
This is kind of a remake of a picture I did a while ago. Tifa has been caught in a rather sticky net while looking for Materia in a Mako cavern... oh wait, it's a spider's web. The spider is beginning to fire threads to wrap her up (possible sequel I suppose).
It might be worth noting that 'Silk' and 'Threads' are actual attacks in Final Fantasy VII, though for some reason the spiders in the game don't seem to use it. Instead there are two other monsters who use them to slow or stop your characters.
