Daily Deviation suggestions MUST be from Photography > Darkroom. This is the only gallery which I feature from.
To find out more about the Darkroom Photography galleries, please see this journal with detailed gallery descriptions and examples.
To help promote the intriguing creative processes involved in both Traditional and Digital Darkroom photography, I would like to shine a light on images which show skillful use of these techniques. Please bear this in mind when suggesting.
I especially love featuring images which have an
Where to sell your art:iconAngelaLeonetti: has started a group :iconmyjunglestudios: which is a place to share information about selling artwork -Where to sell your art1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Well, I have been selling my art for years on POD sites - POD sites are Print On Demand - which means that as an artist all I have to do is design something up load it and when a customer finds it - either through a web search, Facebook, or directly from my own marketing activities, they place an order and the product is then printed and shipped to the customer - all I have to do is collect a check. Now depending on which site it is the checks come once a month, quarterly or only when I make a certain amount of money usually over $25.00 (for the purpose of this I am using US dollars - since I am in the US).
DA is a POD site - when someone orders a print of an artists work they print it and send the artist the check. Depending on how active the artist wants to be in marketing their own work will determine how much money they will make. Using key

Color Inspiration, A Technical Guide For ArtistsColor Inspiration, A Technical Guide For Artists2 years ago in Personal More Like This
"Sam Dead" from "The League of Elder"
Currently I find myself in a phase of making advanced use of colors in my work to enhance depth, mood and to underline certain values.
While doing so, I found a necessity to share this knowledge and insights in some kind of a reference. There are practical tips for everyday use, this post is useful for traditional artists as well.
When working in a professional environment there is rarely the time to go out and do plein-air paintings or studies, this is something artists have to do in their spare time, to form the foundations and understanding of perception of our environment. On the other hand it is extremely important to see processed works as well, to see the differences and to learn from these observations.
Basically, all knowledge artists have, is built upon passion and is acquired through personal experience, museum-visits, observation and anatomical studies have to be done
Darkroom Gallery InfoWhile the majority of Photography galleries on dA are subject-based, Darkroom is technique-based. Photographs using Darkroom techniques are generally accepted in the other photography galleries too, but if you wish to categorise your Darkroom photography submission based on how it was created, then Photography > Darkroom is here to allow you to do that.Darkroom Gallery Info2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
