Reasons for GaaNaru
The first thing I would like to point out is that this is in no way a fan fiction, although it is placed in that category. This is a list of reasons that I have found in the Naruto manga/anamie that I believe Sabaku no Gaara and Uzumaki Naruto make a great couple. I will not argue over proof that either is gay or which one is seme and which is uke. Those are almost impossible to tell under normal circumstances unless you have either been told by or "accidentally" walked in on the couple in question, these types of things are NOT normally obvious in real life, so why should they be in stories? So if you're going to say things like "THEY AREN'T GAY D8!!!111!!0NE" Leave. Just leave.
The first reason is that they are extremely similar, but different enough to keep their relationship interesting. The most obvious link is that they are both Jinchuuriki. Having similar childhood gives them a solid base for their relationship. Of course, that's not the only commo

DETERMINING SEXUAL IDENTITY
For many people, there is no question at all about what their Sexual Orientation and Identity are, starting at a very young age. But for many others, it can be very confusing and traumatic. ALL of us are a blend of Straight and Gay. People who are almost completely Straight or Gay usually know how they are different from very young ages. Everyone else will have some someone degree of Confusion and Questioning. Many young people have a small amount of latent homosexuality, enough to confuse them, but not enough to be a Bisexual. Others can be confused by having a friend they love dearly. Some young people are late bloomers, becoming sexually aware later than most others. For others, there is also confusion about Gender. For others, they may not have sexual feelings at all.
Some people may not become aware of their homosexual nature, or may not recognize, realize, or acknowledge their homo

Pledge to protect, guide & care for
the innocent, sick & oppressed who have
been broken through illnesses, circumstances
or crimes against humanity.
I, (Insert Name), pledge to do all that I can
Within the best of my ability to aid
My fellow brothers and sisters of the human race
Who have suffered burdens
through the ignorance & selfishness of mankind.
I will strive to eradicate fear
& spread God's universal message
of love & peace
One soul at a time
to those suffering from the poverty
of the mind, spirit or body.
I promise to help them rise,
To aid their wars with courage & faith
To make this place a better world
If not for us, then for the generations
& for this I am called to duty,
to fight the war that has developed
through the decadence of society
Saving one life at a time
With all that I am & ever will be.

The conch's twist holds
an old world. Just beyond the glossy rim
where the shell curves out of sight
a half-full bottle plunges
into the sea. The green glass
has no end, its sides spreading
light like a coloured lens. But this ocean
is a dark edge, as if eyes had never lifted
its hard dermis. A wave curls
and becomes icecream in a turqouise bowl. You
are here, looking through spirals at someone else
who is you. The bowl empties
and a cold signifier stings the skull.
This time it is no echo
of the sea's thousandfoot rush, or the tang
of stale salt inhaled from a pinkwhite lip. This time
you are there. The icecream is just as cold, the glass
of beer bottles still shedding jade. But this could be
any beach. And now it matters
that you cannot swim.

A snort, a puff, a full-on snore.
I shake the bed with silent laughter.

Your open eyes betray
The love you feel inside.
Until you start to search
You drape across my chest.

There is a place
In a tiny room
In a special house
Surrounded by magic
Some golf balls
And a pond
A mini Mozart
The boxed and ignored
Of years long past
Faded yellow flowers
Peel from the wall
And droop to kiss the old
On which one becomes quite lazy
Beside old papers
Dreams in a chunky pillow
Feet sticking out
Of that considerate hole
In the blue blanket bottom
Waking up to
That are never
And little brown
Fingers tripping over
The little brown keys
And giving special love
To the two keys
That fell asleep mid-song
Like the little Mozart
Her head on the keys

To Love a PoetI loved her with words. To Love a Poet9 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
It was oft, and in many ways
That I loved her
Yet she sought me as a sailor does stars
And just as often;
Her room, dark, tempted by
A sliver of moonlight
Is misty by her sighs.
Does she not recognize
The deliberate action of my words?
O, the heavens would have me harshly judged
For the Sundays spent searching
For the hundredth, milestone letter.
That I am a poet, she must loathe
Though I am thankful that her
Loathing loves me still.
I cannot deny
That I am a poet,
And I love her with words.
It was oft, and in many ways
That I lost sleep, writing under a shade of cloud,
Wandered the streets for inspiration,
A glimpse of poetry,
That I loved her.

The Ocean's Black Heart
Not long ago, I thought it would never end. Every inch of Her engrained itself in my memory to keep as perfect as it had always been. Not long ago...
It ended. And I was left with my memories and my dreams... and a ring. A ring I'd given Her for saying "Yes" to the question that terrified me to ask. For saying yes to spending the rest of our lives together... before She decided to leave.
The ring itself was a simple thing, and not expensive as both She and I had been broke.... and honestly, She would not have been able to wear it because of her parents. So instead I had hunted and found a very cheap, but adequately wonderful ring. A sterling silver band with small stones in it that caught the light and reflected it, centered around a small black heart that protruded from the surface. It was beautiful, it was elegant, and it suited Her tastes and self perfectly.
