The energon that remained within me kept my automated repair systems running and I came back to life in no time. What I didn't know was I had been out of commission for over a month and had a Doctor working on my broken systems from day one.
This was what I later learned but when I had woke from my stasis he had been dead for a long time.
"By the allspark..."
I had no idea where I was. I was in a damp and shadowed corner of a holding cell but there was no door stopping me from escaping. Realising I had to get active and find out more information I pushed myself off the vibrating steel floor and began walking out of the opening.
Bodies littered the floors of the hallway beyond the cell. I examined the damages closely but they were inconsistent so I could not determine the cause of death. I had no idea that the first body I had discovered was that of the bot who had saved my spark. Never even had a chance to thank him.
From along the halls I heard a moan, a scream of complaining and whel

Snap! The lifeless corspe falls to the ground. What used to be the district 3 male, is now a lifeless being. The whites of his eyes showing, nearly unbearable to look at. I turn away and see what remains of our supplies. That's why Cato killed him in the first place, he knows and so do I, that he was suppose to guard those supplies. He failed. The cannon fires and Cato rounds up any weapons from the rack that was under the shade and protection of our barriers.
Cato and Clove begin to walk away from the Cornucopia. There's no reason to stay here, no supplies, no campsite, and in my opinion, no allience. I think back to when I first left home, how my sickly brother's body was sprawled in the bed, chin covered in his coughed-up blood, breathing sounded like gasping. And in a blink of an eye, he was gone. Gone with the wind, leaving me alone to enter the games.
That's when I remember, the net trap I set up, maybe some poor tribute was stupid enough to fall for it. I hope it's Katniss, Cato

Main Turret Artillery
Tachyon Artillery: Tachyons are slowed down below light speed by a gravitation trap with rotating polarization (changing direction), that is the reason why the tachyon gun is U- shaped, and fires two pulses per shot. The tachyons want to get back over light speed, and accelerate after leaving the gun, when they hit matter they lose their strange energy and transform the matter into antimatter, and break through the lightbarrier. The destructive effect is because of this caused by the antimatter, so the usage of tachyon guns in atmosphere is limited to zero, also in space the range is limited due to the exhaust of ships engines and interstellar gas, this causes the red color of the pulses.
Effective range: mostly used in mid distance combat (100 000km), maximal effective shot was one Ls (lightsecond = 300 000km), but had limited effectivity, due to the high loss of tachyons
muzzlespeed = 0.5 c up to0.75 c

You could feel his hot breath on your face. You slowly opened your eyes and immediately your (e/c) pupils locked with the sea of red.
You heard voices above you but you couldn’t recognise any of them. They were just like a mass of random words. But there was only one thing that seemed familiar to you, one thing that made sense for you.
Only one name that had any meaning.
“K-Kagami” you whispered breathless. You couldn’t think of anything but how close his muscled body was to yours. You didn’t remember about the world around you, no, what truly mattered were his eyes, his lips...
Your heart was going crazy! It beat rapidly like a wild beast, trying to tear out from your chest but you couldn’t stop it.
How many seconds passed when you were looking at each other like that? Maybe more than seconds, minutes? You were sure that it didn’t last hours but surely you would like that.
In one moment you were talking with Riko and in the next you were trapp

Cato ran blindly towards the noise. It couldn't be Clove who was screaming. Clove never, ever shrieked like that. Never shrieked with such open terror in her voice. As he ran, he saw fire girl running away into the woods, and Thresh running back over to the grassy area. Clove, meanwhile, lay on the ground, crumpled like a broken doll.
He dropped to his knees beside her, his breaths ragged. Clove reached out for his hand, panting. Blood ran down from her forehead.
"You stay with me," he ordered. "You have to stay with me, Clove, do you hear me? I can't lose you, Clove. I can't!"
"I don't want to die," she rasped, her breathing ragged. She blinked, tears running down her forehead.
"You won't," Cato said, feeling hopeless. Tears were running down his face now, too. "You'll be ok, Clove. I promise."
She just shook her head, blood mixing with her tears. Her breathing was slowing now, and the girl Cato loved looked more scar

Chapter 2: CHANGE
How could this be?
How could I have become human?
How is this even possible?
What happened to my armor?
What happened to my troops?
WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?!
Question after question flooded his processor as he emptily stared into the glass, seeing only a human man staring back.
He was tall, broad chested and worn. The years on him showed that he had been through some rough times. He was a large Caucasian with dark black hair and mustache and wide, dark sapphire blue eyes.
Looking away from the window, Optimus slowly let his gaze move to his hands, which strangely were shaking. They were the hands of human who worked. Old, worn out, cut, bruised and callused.
Moving his hands to his cloths, still looking at the refection he took into careful detail of the fabric he now bore on his body. A casual red plaid t-shirt. Tight blue boot cut pants. Dark brown leather boots. This entire dress attire was the same kind that Optimus had previously seen in an old weste

Universe: Transformers Prime
Characters (Main): Bumblebee, Starscream
Pairing: BeeXOptimus, StarscreamXBee
Warnings: Talk of interfacing

Bumblebee stood just outside the small door that led to Starscream's room, with his hands behind his back and his head down. He was starting to think this was a bad idea. He should go back to Knockout's room and get some recharge but that wasn't going to happen. He just didn't think it was the best idea. Or he could just go ahead a leave. He would be going against Optimus's orders but still he would rather have Optimus give him a long speech then stay there.
Bumblebee was little confused about the whole thing. What made him change his mind so quickly about Knockout? Was it the interfacing?

He asked quietly, "Kristina...?"
The banks of controls light up around us.
An escape pod is revealed at the end of the room. Its hatch automatically opens and bathes the room with light from its lit interior.
I turned to Matthew coldly, "Earth. "
I gestured for Matthew to enter the pod.
I repeated coldly, "Get in the pod, Matthew. You need to go home to Earth." As I pointed to an overhead screen that displays coordinates to Earth.

Costume Shop Story - Part 1If I had to call it anything, it would have to be quaint. The town was small, a little suburb of the big city, surrounded on most sides by scrub and farm-land. I had moved here a few months before because the city (much as I loved it) wasn't good for me. It was expensive and noisy, and the pay wasn't covering my expenses.Costume Shop Story - Part 17 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
To help pay bills, I had registered for a website where people posted free-lance work they needed done, and one job had been in the quaint little town. After a while I was looking for jobs out here, I liked it, something appealed to me.
About the fifth or sixth job, someone finally asked if I was looking for work. I said I'd be interested, and found myself supporting several town businesses. It paid the rent (which was cheap out here) and kept me comfortable, but for one thing.
See, I have always enjoyed driving, and this far from the city, with its lights, you could really see the stars.
The Tale of an Argonian ch.1Gazing towards the distant mountains, Makeo let out a sigh. "Another long day," he said to himself, scratching the back of his scaly neck. The sun was beginning to disappear behind the horizon. It would be dark soon; he had to start making his way home. He stood, picking up the sack he had filled with mushrooms that day, and began walking away from his sitting place. The Tale of an Argonian ch.15 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
This sitting place was located on the northeastern edge of a hill about an hour's walk from Makeo's home. Specifically, it was against a large oak tree on the edge of the hill. He would walk to this tree with his breakfast every morning, then sit and eat while contemplating ways to escape his mundane life. After his morning meal, he would go home and do the day's work, later spending the afternoon hours collecting mushroom caps, firewood, or whatever his uncle needed. Every evening, he returned to sit underneath the tree until sunset. It was the only place where he really felt alone and free to think and dream as he please

Drethan after three months had finished the design of the costume. He had done so many dragon costumes, but to him, this one was different. Drethan took another look at the well thumbed book that he had received by the boy. Incredible, he thought, I have never seen anyone with these kind of descriptions of dragons. Drethan went to the section of dragon anatomy. There, on the first few pages were picture perfect drawings of dragons. Each one with a layer that had come off to show the underneath. Drethan flipped the pages till he was at the organs.
Drethan scanned the page till he found one specific organ. Amazing, he thought, The Draconis Fundamentum , He had never seen the powers of dragons described as thus. Drethan went to the description page of the chapter and looked up Draconis Fundamentum, underneath the name it said, The most fascinating organ in a dragons body is the draconis fundamantum. A drag

"The second I get my car back from the wash, the heavens decide to open. Who knows what kind of garbage is in the atmosphere? It's probably full of sand from that storm in the desert a few weeks ago I don't want you getting all dirty again right after I paid good money to have you cleaned up."
Sitting on the floor beside him, hunched over but still filling most of the garage nonetheless, Bumblebee gave a dry whining sound through his semi-functional vocal processors. In all honesty, he couldn't care less about the weather his friend's well-being and happiness took priority over all else. He watched Sam glower out at the downpour, studying the human's disheartened posture in concern.
Bumblebee was truly thankful that he had been allowed to stay with Sam in his new home, despite all of the da

Hey, were there.

Were there. The memories came rushing into his head. The costume, wishes, himself, not himself, Drethan. James clutched his head, as a new pain was felt in his temple.
The costumes voice seemed worried. Should we go in yet, or do you want to wait?
James stood on his hind legs. -As much as a dragon could, without falling over.- He used his tail for balance. James stretched, and went back to being on all fours. James looked around and was confused.
Um, costume...wait...what is your name anyways? I dont want to always call you by costume the whole time we are going to be together.

Janleith got off the city bus, looking slightly confused at the sight that assaulted him. He was here to participate in the local university's "Spring Open House," a program for admitted High School Seniors to introduce them to University life and the campus. What he saw, however, did not look at all like a college. Instead, it was a small shop that had a slightly-grubby sign telling it was called "The Second Identity." Quickly looking at his information packet, he discovered what his mistake had been; he had mixed up 1786 South with 1786 North. He slapped his forehead, and entered the shop to ask the owner if he knew the time of the next bus.

For the past few days his boss had given him a project on trying to come up with a program that would regulate the power flow to all of the city. But no matter what he did, there was a certain section of the grid that kept fluctuating irregularly.
What is it? asked Loch leaning forward from his desk to see the error on Wills screen. Loch was new to being a power technician. It was Wills job -Applying to his already heavy work schedule.- to train Loch in all the procedures so that he could also work on the system.

Costume Shop Story - Part 3It felt odd, heading back to an apartment that I hadn't seen or inhabited for a while. I had paid my rent in advance, and apparently that's all that mattered to the land-lord, as my key still worked. I put the box with the suit in it on the table (next to an identical box which I had come home with before Halloween) and went to recover the bag with my name on it next to the door. Mail. Many weeks worth of mail. My mailbox exploded when I opened it, and I went upstairs to sort it all out.Costume Shop Story - Part 37 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
Or rather, that was my intent...but I was still worried about Damon, so I pulled the suit out of the box and examined it. It looked much as it had when this all started, except without any movement. Drethan had said that keeping it close would revive it faster, and I wanted to expedite that as much as possible...which left the question of "how" since the suit didn't really fit without the intellect behind it to run things.

Slowly she lifted her eyelids, heavy with fatigue, dispelling the taunting darkness. The space around her was a dull blur.
