this came from a conversation i once had.

this time i decided to take make use of one of the advantages that Print Gocco has over traditional silk screening. printing multiple colors with fewer screens. for example this only used two screens to print all 5 colors.

damn, not enough room in the title for the question mark.

yeah, i've been sitting on this idea for a while now. i kept drawing and re-drawing it. maybe, if you're nice i'll scan all the earlyer virsions i did of this while trying to work out the poses.

what do you think of the more subdued backgroud color? should i go back to flat color or should i up the satuation or something?

edit: i brightened up the background. still not sure if it works.

yeah, are they fake or something?

actually i really have no problem with that particular "stop staring at my boobs!" phrase. the phrase i don't care for is is the "how'd you like it if we were always staring at your crotch?" defense. now i'm not trying to advocate us guys gawking at gozangas, i just don't think that crotch-staring argument is all that good. boobs and crotch aren't exactly the same. i mean, what if we guys started staring at your crotches instead? i think that would be a whole lot creepier than staring at boobs. though to be fair we guys really don't have a proper boob equivalent. er-- well most guys that is. but man-boobs aren't something that people stare at in admiration. that's more of a train-wreck kind of stare.

anyways -- sorry for staring, they just look nice is all.

if i made porn, it would be Ninja on Pirate softcore.

i doubt i'll ever get in the biz of making porn however, but i might someday make a sexy pirate girl pinup calander.

before you pass judgement on this peice here, take a look at the origional variation. [link]

the observation here is not new. i seem to remember another comic with a similar phrase being used for a wedding vows. there was something more to it and that's why i made this. as i was working on it i got to thinking about what it had to say about both chairacters involved. i desided to make this duplicate of it and make a little change just to see how much the over all tone and meaning would change. and i thought about what that change says about today's society and the expectations for gender.

the symbolisim of someone playing with the heart is a bit warn out and tired. however it can still say many diffrent thigns depending on how you draw it. i suppose one might concider it a clasic.

can you tell i was starting to have relationship problems when i drew this?

did i just let my political colors show a little? oops! forget you saw that.

well, atleast i'm trying to bring back the dirty hurmor.

yeah, there's been a lack of comics as of late because i haven't been able to think of a damn thing. and even though alot of my comics tend to have some deeper meaning or make some kind of little statement i don't realy want to be that way all the time. i just wanna make stuff that's funny, and -- if i can -- stuff that's almost smart. also, i dont realy want to venture into politics much if i can help it. verry few people can ever seem to be all that smart about it, so why should i try?
