Night is falling while Jake and Emma play outside home alone. But there is something lurking on the verandah behind the sheets.

As night falls the fear rises.

But will the environment deceive them into tragedy?

This was shot over two nights, i came up with idea at the start of the week and had finished the film by the end.
It was difficult trying to film it all in dusk, i didnt realise how rapid the light dulls. Every minute i was adjusting the brightness up to keep the shots balanced. But hey, its seems to come across as the same point in time in the film.

Starring.

Ben Pearce

Samantha Pearce

Belinda Pearce

Filmed in March 2007

So, this is what I've been doing for the past couple of weeks now. :3

This was a project for my sister =fyuvix's pitch for a cartoon called Yow is a Punk Rocker. I animated a clip of shots from one of her storyboards, and two of our SCAD buddies provided the voices. All the animation was done with Flash tweening.

I was in a bit of a rush towards the end, so not all the scenes are as great as I'd have liked (particularly the lip sync), but I'm pretty pleased with it.

Animation, cleanup, color: =chaoskomori
Script, storyboard, character design: =fyuvix
Voice: Principal (big lion), Argyl (human) ~KitKiama
Voice: Ellis (with glasses), Yow (with the beak) *twilight-wolf
Music: ~GiroroG66

This stop-motion documentary reveals the truth about Timothy Treadwell's (Grizzly Man) last hours in the hands of rabbit conspirators. The bears were set up.

I made this in 2006 with the Detroit band James and the Rainbros [link]

Open source trailer for The Unfold, a groundbreaking participative feature film being developed as part of A Swarm of Angels.

In this remixed version, I changed the titles at the end to get closer to the vision Santiago and I had at the beginning. I also feel that it adds other dimensions and echoes to The Unfold script.

Well... I haven't had much luck with submitting this to festivals, and I finished this back in March, so I figured it's about time I caved and shared it with you all. I'd still like to try submitting it to some festivals next year if I could, but.

Anyway, this is my film from senior year of college. I started working on the story in my second semester of Junior year, did most of the animation in the first semester of Senior year, and got about half of the clean-up done by the end of Senior year. After I graduated I spent the summer finishing the clean-up and the layouts, and I finished most of the color in a couple weeks earlier this spring. Almost all the work on this film was done by myself. It was no small task to be sure! A lot of people are surprised at the amount of work that goes into animation. The fastest I was able to work on this project as about a second of rough animation an hour. This is for only one character in the scene. Many of the scenes had 2-5 characters in them! Clean-up took twice as long as rough animation, then color, etc.

The story is actually inspired by an event in my own life, and represents a lot of my own feelings about being an artist and being in-between childhood and adulthood.

Anyway, enjoy! My goal for the film was to create something that anyone could understand or relate to in some way, and I hope I have accomplished that if nothing else.

EDIT: Wow that was fast, thanks for the Daily Deviation!! I am serious, nothing means more to me than that people are seeing and enjoying the film. Thank you very much for all your kind words and sharing your thoughts with me. :) I'm really glad you guys like the film.

Hello, Comrades.

Here we have another episode from Season 1 of PORTFOLIO. This one explores some facets of the creativity that goes into good, and innovative, game design.

We were assisted on this episode by our gaming industry technical consultant, Mr. Wallace Fajardo (aka *Nisori).
