The "Three Kings" of Zircoda.. They're not actually kings, but rather a force of individuals determined to bring their fallen country back to it's former splendor. They follow the ideals of Silas Bade, who started the idea with his own actions, thus inspiring these three kings.
Left to right-- Earnest Saltman, Quincy Fossa, Saul Black.
I spent much time on this in Painter 7, and even with the cutesy appearance of the characters, I'm quite pleased with the result.

************************************************* Finally finish this battle pic, that took me almost 2 months. Im so thankful to Peter for being so kind and so patient on this piece.Thank you for understanding me during my time of mourning...that means a lot to me. As well as to other people who expressed sympathy. Some of the funding I get here was been a great help.
Done around estimated 1 week and 3 days (if continous).
Been a total slack ass for the past weeks, well after uni finished I all I did was catch up one sleep, play some games and work. But thanks to we did a trade and got me sketching again which still felt a bit rusty but end result I got the job done. I adapted new ideas about shade and colour to this pic and I'm pretty happy with the result. His character was fun to draw as well. Pay a vist to this fulla because Rafael is (C) to him. Art by me
Bio: She was picked up on the worldwide trek of the good pirates. You can tell by the look of her that she's a bit insane. She tends to berserk on unsuspecting enemies, which if you've never been attacked by a near-rabid Scottish sheep before, can be quite scary. Any other time she's just a little nutsy ewe with a huge claymore.
Name etymology: Bonnie; Short for Bonnibella which means "beautiful." Means "pretty" from the Scottish word bonnie, which was itself derived from Middle French bon "good".

Everyone, this is Keiriko. Keiriko, meet everyone.
He's my alter-ego, the true form of my spirit, and a Utahraptor. As time passed and he remained locked away within my body, his saurian body began to take on more human-like traits, most obviously the hair and opposable thumbs.
Because Keiriko is such a new character, I haven't been able to give him a complete personality or any kind of wardrobe yet. I'll work on sketching some ideas, and the next painting of him will include more characteristics.
Anatomically speaking, I looked at some pictures of the raptors in Jurassic Park to be sure I was on key, but I took some liberties of my own, such as the mouth shape and adding more anthro features. However, I can't seem to draw the killing claw very well...it always looks weird.
This new style of colouring and shading that I used works very well. Kudos to those great people who make tutorials for deviantART and, ultimately, me.
EDIT 12-4-05: Forgot to color in the line in the middle of his hair. Also added some snow around his toes and fingers so it looked like he was actually in the snow, instead of hovering above it.
