Just wanted to speak my mind about a thing.
It's very hard to keep yourself motivated to do life drawing without any good resources. In Romania, in my city and the neighbouring ones at least, there are no life drawing classes or studios at all. I had some plaster replicas of statues when I was in art highschool but now that I graduated, I can't go there anymore.
I got jealous and angry when I saw the life drawings made by the people going at the Drawing Academy, a life drawing semester course at the university I want to go. I mean, is there any hope for any of us who don't have 4,500 euros to attend such a thing to get into that university? Sure, there are images on the net but they don't compare with a real life nude model. It goes without saying that It's harder to self-teach this hard subject compared with having a guide, a teacher.
Then, I found a person or two who got in without attending that course and that raised my morale. So it is possible. It's harder, yes, but the rew
