A4 paper, pencil and colored pencils, about 10 hours of work. The C63 AMG is a sport sedan which develops 451 HP from the V8, 6.3L engine and shoots to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. There's a seven-speed automatic transmission with no manual option. The front brakes have size 360 x 36-millimeter discs with six-piston fixed calipers, while deceleration at the rear is handled by 330 x 26-millimeter discs with four-piston fixed calipers. Great car for families which lives in a fast lane and of course have a huge amount of cash in their wallets...

In addition to the larger engine, the Corvette Z06 has a dry sump oiling system, and connecting rods made out of titanium alloy. For 2011 the Z06 carbon edition was introduced, which carries over multiple parts from the ZR1 including carbon ceramic brakes, active suspension, and other carbon fiber aerodynamic pieces. Only 500 Z06 Carbon Editions will be made.

The F430 signals the arrival of a brand new generation of Ferrari 8-cylinder models. This new car takes Ferrari's extraordinary achievements with aluminium technology, begun with the 360 Modena, to a whole new level. Two of these innovations are world firsts for production cars: the electronic differential (E-Diff) and the steering wheel-mounted switch (better known to the Formula 1 Scuderia's drivers as 'manettino'), which manages the integrated systems governing vehicle dynamics.
The other main characteristics of the new F430 are its light, compact 4,300 cc 90° V8 engine, which punches out 490 hp to achieve a specific output of 114 hp/litre. Braking system (designed in close cooperation with Brembo and Bosch) with carbon-ceramic discs for optimal efficiency under extreme use; a Formula 1-derived gearbox that cuts gear shifting times down to 150 milliseconds allowing the driver to make the very most of this truly high performance car (0-62 mph acceleration in 4 seconds flat, a top speed in excess of 196 mph).
Acrylics on canvas, including gold, silver and copper and pearlescent medium. The concept is inspired by one of my photos of a building reflected in water ([link]).
This painting tells the story of how I started my picture library PictureNature from a passion for photography. In three years time the collection grew enormously and I was working with 60 photographers before the collection was sold to another library. It was a hard decision to take a step back from something I created from scratch. Looking back, I now realise it has ignited my passion to be creative again. Photography is now a medium to help me develop designs for my paintings. This piece of art symbolizes the way I reflect on the last three years with so many emotional ups and downs. Water is a symbol for emotional wellbeing and also source of life. It acts as a mirror as well, but then showing you things in a different way that might inspire you with new ideas and opportunities. Life is sometimes tough, but if you handle it well and listen to your innerself, you grow stronger and you will be a step closer to your purpose. If I hadn't had to make this tough business decision, I would have never created this work!
I did this in fine art class a while back. Decided to share it with the digital community as well. 16x20" with chalk pastel, a bit of charcoal and lots of tissues. Photoed, then retouched in Photoshop.
