Omega Road, Tueday September 17
It has been ten years since Noah Belazye, age 16 moved from his home in Ridgewood to Eastriver. Youngest of eight other siblings, his family had to move to a smaller house since it was now only him, his sister Hannah age 19 and his parents Sanjet and Diamond. One night a few weeks before, his parents announced they were moving back to Ridgewood "Really!?" He said with anticipation "D-do you mean it!?" "Of course Noah." His mother answered "Ever since the others moved out, its only is four, and we found a house back in Ridgewood." His father added. Hannah then said "I thought mom was transferred again." Noah didn't know why he was psyched, all he knew was that they moved from Ridgewood when he was six. The night they moved into a small apartment, Noah had the weirdest dream he ever had: He was in a neighborh

'It's too quiet in here.' Noah thought as he flipped a page in the book he was reading, 'Pride Prejudice and Zombies'.
Usually Noah's days at the studio were full of Izzy's antics, Trent's gushy love songs, and Eva's anger management issues, but today was different. Everything was oddly still, quiet. It wasn't a common occurrence among the TD cast.
He hadn't heard Trent's sappy songs from the room beside his own, Eva hadn't come by to scream at him and throw dumbbells through his wall, and Izzy hadn't broken into his room even once. It was odd, but then again he knew it was going to be an odd day.
You see, today was the day that Duncan got eliminated and Noah knew it was only a matter of time until he would show up at the studio.
Noah heard a knock on the door and looked toward it. "Speak of the Devil " He mumbled. Noah didn't say anything else or get up to get the door knowing that within a

Ridgewood city, 1998
3:27 PM, Capricorn Avenue
In the city of Ridgewood, on a street known as Capricorn Avenue, two six year old boys stood out of one of their houses. One of the young boys were moving that day, making sorrow for the both of them, since those two were best friends. "Why do you have to move?" one of the boys said to the other. He had light brown hair and small blue eyes. He had a gap in between his teeth, had light skin and wore blue overalls "My mommy said its because of her job!" said the other. He had dark skin with darker brown hair. His eyes were a deep brown and he wore a red shirt and gey pants. "Cant you live at my house?" the blue eyed brunette asked. "I cant" the other said "My mommy said I have to go with everyone else!" "But you're my best friend! You cant leave!" the blue eyed brunette began to have tears form

"C-Cody? Where'd you go?" I stuttered as I regained my balance.
I walked through the kitchen, to go to my darkened bedroom.
"Hheelloo Noah....." A meek voice sung.
"Cody?" My eyes widened.
Cody was tucked under my sheets, with his shirt on the floor.
"Yes?" He was running his fingers in little circles on the bed sheet before him.
I swallowed hard, and let out a gasp as I felt my face get hot. "Uhm. W-Whats um go-going o-on C-Cody....?"
"Good Lord. You can't take hints can you??" He got up out of bed, to reveal only his torso, and a pair of pants. (Whew) "I am trying to-"
"Yes, uhm I understand. But I don't really think I'm-ah" He got up behind me and started sucking on my ear. "Oh gosh I'm having deja-vu." He chuckled lightly in the back of his throat.
"C'mon Noah. You can't be serious."
"Cody please, you're killing me."

Cody doesn't know if he should do it. More than that he doesn't know if he can do it. He's scared, he's nervous, he thinks that he's going to throw-up. He was so sure not to long ago and now he doesn't know what he should do. He's a mess, he's freaking out, he's going to lose it-
"Dude, Cody! Calm down man, it's all gonna work out fine." Trent says interrupting Cody's almost panic attack and placing a firm hand on his shoulder.
Cody, Trent, and Owen are all in one small room. The room is red and has no windows, the door is a deep brown, Cody guesses mahogany, but Cody doesn't know anything about types of wood. The room also has a ceiling fan and the room is being lit up by the lights on said fan. However the only thing in the room that Cody cares about is the mirror.
It's a full length mirror, but other than that it's nothing special. If Cody wasn't wearing a suit he probably wouldn't care about the mirror. Actually it's less about the mirror and more about his refle
Lost FreedomThey say freedom is a beautiful word, a beautiful thing. When you dream without fear and live without oppression, all you need now is for your life to embrace it. Isn't it easy though, just to think the concept that dwells in the West and disintegrates in the East could be as powerful, as life-changing, as the word "love" itself?Lost Freedom6 years ago in Emotional More Like This
I beg to disagree, but then again, circumstances have dealt me a different hand.
I'm not saying that humans don't deserve to be free. I hate any repression to freedom. Human trafficking, for instance, makes me sick to the bone at the cruelty that humans can be so capable of. Being denied freedom of speech silences the hopes of future generations and reveals the cowardice ingrained in human psyche. But freedom, like love, has many different facets to it.
Freedom for me is the lightening of the soul, the inner peace within myself and with life, and the joy of knowing that burdens do not make me a shadow in the light. But for me, there is no freedom. There is onl

"There you are!" exlcaimed Snowdrift, flipping back her light teal mane as she landed next to her friend Sunny Days, who had been standing on the only cloud in the sky that day.
Sunny turned to the light blue pegasus pony and blinked, eyes slightly wide in awe. "What are you doing awake at this hour, Snow?" She chuckled a bit then nudged her friend's shoulder with her rainbow-braceleted hoof. "Shouldn't you be resting up for your job?"
Snowdrift grinned at the orange-haired yellow pegasus and shook her head. "They can do without me for one night. Besides, it's summer, and there are no plans... I wouldn't miss today for the world, you know."
Blushing a little, Sunny looked away. "Aw, you remembered..."
"Of course I did!" Snowdrift interjected. "What kind of friend would I be if I forgot your birthday? I even got a cake from Sugar Cube Corner. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pi

He is very tall, and wears the form of a man so well made that an observer might think him a marble statue of some perfect ideal physique. His face is very beautiful, and his hair is long and free, and seems to dance on its own, matching the flow of his simple white robes. His appearance is only a veil, however, as his true form is perhaps beyond any comprehension.
His hands rest on the grips of a bright flaming sword, a terrible instrument of destruction. But even this weapon, though blade down into the grass, makes no mark on Eden. His gaze is unwavering, always looking out, always alert.
So he has been through the history of mankind. And so did the Heart of Darkness, Bane of Light find him.
The Angel knew of the demons approach long before he arrived, but waited till he was certain of the interlopers destination. Demons had passed this way many times before, but they knew the Angel guarding the entrance to Ede

The afternoon sky, normally a lovely calming blue, had become choked with black smoke and blazing embers. Ash and shrapnel rained down as building after building collapsed, shaking the ground and sending splinters and nails flying like bullets. True bullets had long since been abandoned, and now everyone, civilian and soldier, enemy and ally alike were merely scrambling to escape the destruction of the city.
Roderich, however, lay still and silent on the ground. His body had been mercilessly beaten, covered in bruises, burns, and blood, and his will to escape had long since died in his heart. He now focused on keeping his attention from the pain in his body, as well as away from the screams of his people being crushed or smothered by the hell his city had become. A particularly thunderous crash shook his body agonizingly and he choked, spewing an impressive amount of blood from his throat and broken nose. He breathed shakily, unable to

Sergeant Commander Rusty Meadows is MIA and General Georgie is SOL without his beloved commander. Meadows was the greatest of all Georgie's soldiers and without him the condition of the war will most surely turn sour. The aliens will soon come down and eat our brains, Georgie predicted, but they will eat girls' brains first because, although significantly smaller, they taste better. Georgie expressed these thoughts to his older sister Anna over a large vanilla milkshake.
"Oh yeah?" Anna began, pointing a spoon at her younger sibling, "If boys are so much smarter than girls than how come I am in second grade and you aren't even in school yet?" She thrust her spoon into her milkshake in silent victory and smiled at her brother.
Georgie watched the rain fall outside of the diner, momentarily forgetting the war, the aliens, and his missing action figure named Sergeant Commander Rusty Meadows. It was one of those rare September rains where the humidity is so

I was trying to tell everyone that, but they just wouldnt listen to me.
I also was constantly asking when they were going to probe something up my ass, but none of them answered my question.
They kept tying me on a bed face down so I figured thats what they were going to do eventually.
Truthfully, though, besides the ass probing, I dont have too much of a problem here. All the people seem nice enough, and I get three square meals a day.
Whats the issue here, people?
Im only trying to escape because everyone else has a problem, and I want to help.
And that is so not like me, either.
Im evidently a genius; I should have been able to escape by myself now.
But as you know, staring at locked doors does not unlock them.
And my finger is way too big to fit in the keyhole, nor is it keyhole shaped.
So why did I even bother trying that one out?
I thought it would work
Perfect ContritionIn a proper Catholic church, everything echoes. Any sound uttered within the building bounces of the floor and the walls and the high, vaulted ceilings, so much so that I imagine that they could easily reach the ears of God himself. It's a rather poetic thought, the voices of mere mortals ringing towards Heaven with the help of good acoustics, but that thought's tempered by the fact that it includes every single noise: the coughs of emphysemic old men, the rustling of an impatient young girl's dress, and the taps of even the softest rubber-soled sneakers are no exception. On rainy days like this one, those shoes tend to squeak, which probably hurts God's ears as much as it does mine. If I didn't feel like I had to be here today, the noise would be enough to drive me out the heavy double doors.Perfect Contrition4 years ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This

10 Tips for Novel Writers10 Tips for Novel Writers7 years ago in General Non-Fiction More Like This
1. Dont Find Time, Make It. Too many authors think that they will find the time to write sometime today or this week or next month. But think about it: when was the last time you said, Hey, look! I just found a twenty fifth hour in my jacket pocket! You know how many hours there are in a day, so stop fooling yourself. If youre going to have time to write, you need to make time to write. Whether you set aside the same hour every day or use those few minutes you have between classes, make sure youre devoting that time entirely to your writing, not sharing it with your favourite reality tv show. Writing during commercial breaks cuts your time by at least two thirdsimagine what more you could have written had you been able to focus your time and energy.
2. Have A Backup Plan. In this age of technology, the traditional pen and paper routine has been flung quite far out the window. It is rare that anyone will write a novel by hand
