I love taking photos as much as my White Chocolate Frappuccino. Sometimes I'll add some caramel and sometimes Iíll add a shot of espressoÖ or two haha.
I took a photo of one of my cameras and tweaked the lens out a bit so it fits in the cup template. Then I used the cutout filter to stylize the whole camera a little and added some photos Iíve taken. Sprinkled with little effects here and there and voila, one of my entries for the Starbucks Blended Remix contest ^_^.
Soooo this is my entry for the Starbuck's Frappuccino contest! It is what it is: a frappuccino cup filled with everything that makes me happy! (: I hope it makes you guys as happy as it makes me (: watercolor on 8.5 x 11 watercolor paper
This moon has been infected... ...in fact - it is infected for millenia. These creatures need a lot of time to evolve - they are pretty harmless (except the fact they make their nests from moons and planets that have molten core). Their eggs orbit around the nest (moon/planet) for really long time until they hatch. They probably don't need air or any other known elements to survive. All we know is that they prefer planets/moons closer to stars and need a lot of heat/energy to give birth to the young ones.
//Inspired by Farscape series. Living Leviathan ships gave me this idea.
Edit: Added some details here and there, changed colors here and there. Nothing dramatic.
So this is my entry for the nvidia contest. I worked on this right up to the last minute... literally. =_= Ran out of time, but I managed to get 'er lookin' alright.
This is my first attempt at a "hardcore" pixel drawing. I've done a few simple ones before, but nothing as time-consuming and detailed as this; it just about killed me! Don't know how pro pixel artists do it!
Speaking of which, I apologize to all you pixel artists who see all the millions of mistakes and broken pixels in this. I really wanted to refine it a LOT more, but time just ran out. *sigh* Ah well, hope you kids dig.

What Does nVidia Say to You?
Looking at the nVidia "Claw" logo, one sees, well a logo. The logo itself says quite a bit. With it's curved lines and sharp corners, it carries with it several overtones including modernity, a feeling of aggressiveness, and a sense of technological advancement-- characteristics appropriate for a company that specializes in high-end graphic processing units.
However, the nVidia "claw" is a logo because that is the context in which one chooses to perceive it. One could choose to see the logo as an actual claw (hence its name) such as that of a robot or some mechanical alien hand. Or one could even take it a step further and interpret the "claw" as something entirely different, such as... oh, say a zen shrine, which brings me to my pixel drawing.
Browsing the nVidia galleries, I noticed many people interpreting the nVvidia "claw" logo as literally a logo and that's it. Now don't get me wrong, the logo's pretty sweet and all, but if you only listen to one thing it says, well you'll be missing out on quite a bit.
For this particular drawing, I wanted to incorporate the logo in a way that made the image unique to nVidia. I didn't want to make a random drawing that could be used or applied to anything else and then just slap the logo on there almost as an afterthought.
Also, I wanted to see how many different ways I could interpret the nVidia "claw." In my drawing I managed to make the "claw" logo say the following:
1. "Ooohhhmmm. I'm a zen-like structure built into a mountain!" 2. "I'm a rune-like carving on a plaque! Hexes not included!" 3. "Shhhh! I'm a ninja-like shadow on the side of a mountain!" 4. "Gimme your money! I'm a fountain!" 5. "I rock so hard, I'm a rock carving/formation!" 6. "I'm grass! Don't smoke me!" 7. "Surf's up, Bra! I'm waves on water!" <strike>8. "Zomg, I'm high! I'm clouds!"</strike> <strike>9. "I'm a sexy babe! Look at my huge... logo!"</strike>
[Bleh! 8 and 9 are supposed to be striked out! ]
Aw man, ran outta time to make 'em all. Oh well, Seven of Nine ain't bad-- actually, she's pretty hot, but that's beside the point.
Anyway, as you can see, the "claw" logo is a pretty cool guy. eh can say a whole lot more than what one initially hears and doesn't afraid of anything.* If you listen hard enough, you can hear it tell countless tales including one of a wondrous mystical world where islands float and water falls reeeally slowly.
Please note: I have had a lot of requests for this journal CSS to be released. It was coded by me for *Wicked-LandScapes, who currently owns it. In the future, it may be released to the public.
Keeping with sights that are familiar, this basic Media Player remix in dA colours plus a CSS menu at the top shall make things a little more fancy. The 'lay' button at the button shall pulsate on intervals... Sweet.
The user interface panels describe traditional dA journal items, such as friends and stamps, but in a more unique way. Rip stamps, anyone?
V1.12006-11-03 Better panel buttons and moved journal title into the main content pane. The title bar is now a little empty, but can still contain some corny text like 'Windows Journal Player' or just your username.
So approxiamtely 2 hours after uploading my happy birthday massive emote thing, i found that there is an offical contest for the birthday event to make a deviation to show Fella enjoying a party on dA [link]
I was kinda gutted cos i would have adapted my other deviation to suit this, but i didn't let that get me down. So i set about making my entry at around 9pm last night. At 5am i was finally happy enough to let myself go to sleep. After 4 hours sleep i woke and started to work on it again. I now absoluetly hate it, but thats just cos i've spent so long looking at it. However, two people's reactions last night to it ensured that i should upload it
A bit about the party :B I know i have been using the emotes with their symbols above their head alot lately, but when showing Fella a party DA style i thought they were essential. One of the nicest things about DA is how close the community can be. I can go into a chatroom and talk to a $, ^, +,%, @ symbolled deviant. Yes they may be staff, but that doesn't make them any less of a deviant. They are usually more than willing to talk to you and join in the fun. I wanted to show this and i feel showing all the symbols chatting and smiling together shows this very well.
I decided to add in a background this time. This is due to the fact i knew the file was so large it would have to be downloaded, so i decided to add a bit of colour
The animation part of this deviation wasn't as hard as you think. I have a system i follow when sorting that out. The hardest part was just placing all the emotes in position. I ended up with around 112 layers before i flattened a few which compared to my average of 4-30ish is a hell of alot.
You may spot i'm on there in emote form cos i felt after all the effort i put into this that i deserved to join in the party. (Zikes is also there and thats cos he's awesome)
I considered sticking a banned user i again, but i couldn't think of a way to do it aftr using the cage in my last version. so any ideas would be good and i'll add it in
Anyways, sit down and enjoy a slice of cake and have a great time in the parties on dAmn. Happy 8th birthdAy dA!!
Well, This entry took me some time to complete because I just recently learned how to use a drawing tablet. After practicing for some time I sort of got the hang and it became a lot easier. When I sketched this out, I just drew straight from my mind of the things I enjoy. As you can see there is a landscape and this means a lot to me because of how peaceful and serene it is. I love lakes and rivers, flowers and of course large beautiful trees. Then thereís a snake and I know itís not common, but I actually love snakes and I think they too are beautiful creatures. I do love these things however I can be totally random at times which explain the raining coffee beans, the mustache on the snake and the umbrella thatís tied to it. My reasons for these can be explained but I expect the viewer to see what they want to see and interpret it for themselves.
please take the time to tell me what you think. thank you
