Big BrotherHey big brotherBig Brother2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Do you remember me?
I'm your little sister
I love you more than anyone outside our family
I'm willing to take the blame on things you did
I wish I could take on the things you're bearing
But I can't
Do you love me, big brother?
Sometimes I can't tell
When you push me away like you do,
It really makes me sad, big brother
Big brother can't you talk to me?
Just like you used to
You used to be so happy...
But big brother, please don't forget
No matter how much you push me away,
No matter what you do,
I'll always love you
KarmaBone and muscle stare back at me through empty sockets. What little skin that's still on it is rotting away. But wait...I'm looking into my bathroom mirror. That monster isn't me...it can't be me...Karma1 month ago in Short Stories More Like This
I steal a quick glance down at my hands. No, I'm not rotting away like the monster in the mirror. I look back up, thinking maybe I'm just sleep-deprived and hallucinating. No, the monster is still there.
The lights flicker, drawing my attention upwards. A black, tar-like substance is oozing from the crack in the ceiling above and behind me. It materializes into a hand, which reaches for me, clutching with cold fingers onto the back of my skull. It forces me closer, closer towards the mirror with the monster, whose decaying fingers grasp for my neck and close around my throat. As it draws me closer, I realize that I'm dead, killed by the monster of my own lies.

Past and present lovers.
Everyone I've met,
The me they know
-is a lie.
Even to ones I'm closest,
See only this mask.
A mask for every person,
I wear these masks,
For if I show myself-
To anyone, they would-
My life, a mirror
Reflecting to the others desire
Of what they want to see
Seeing everything but- me.
But a light shines
Past the mirror
Through to the mask
This light takes shape
Hand shone through the mirror
Fingers caress, the mask cracks-
The real me is shown.
To her and I.
Guilty"If someone accused you of being Christian,Guilty6 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
Would there be enough evidence to convict you?"
Though directed elsewhere,
Caused me to wonder...
I took a look at my own life.
The choices I make,
Are different than those of my friends
The things I say often get laughed at for being
I don't change though.
I am happy with the words I say
Because I'm confident I'll never have to eat them.
My thoughts were not enough to give me a conclusive answer
But if someone were to put me on trial
And accused me of being "Christian,"
I hope there would be enough evidence to prove me

Chapter 1: Oh my God
~Gilbert's Point of View~
"Bruder, Vhat are you doing?"I heard Ludwig say from the living room.
"Of course you care about vhat the awesome me is doing" I said with a smile.
"I don't care, Vati wanted to know" He said with an eye roll.
"Ohh, nothing really, playing Left for Dead 2" I said grumpily. I heard Ludwig walk away and continued my game. I hated being interrupted. I wondered what my band mates were doing. I paused the game and reached into my pocket to call them. I hit the four button which was my speed dial for Francis.
"Bonjour mon ami" I heard Francis say.
"Yo Francis, vhats up?" I asked hearing a groan in the background. It was some girl, I knew that much, but who.
"Being a master of romance" Francis said with a slight 'oh hon hon hon'.
"Keseseseseseses, the awesome me is the master of romance" I laughed.
"What mon ami? I am, no?" Francis commented questioningly.
"Vhatever you say Francis" I said shaking my head. I knew he wa

Germany came home from the city and was ready relax. With a delicate vase in his hand, Germany walked across his lot and tried to find a good place for the 100,000 dollar item that will be kept out of harms way. And when Germany thinks harm, his mind immediately thinks of Italy. Speaking of Italy made Germany wonder where the twerp was all day, but it really didn't bother him. Germany slowly walked down to his favorite armchair while he observed the fragile glass vase. It's blue colors were gorgeous and worked well with Germany's home. It's nice just relaxing; I could get used to this. Germany thought. Once Germany sat down in his precious chair with his equally precious vase, he flew up in the air!
Germany's home suddenly became a demolition derby! With glass scattered all over the floor, Germany became furious. His cushion was turned into a airbag that someone had set up. As Germany freaked out and tried to find all the pie
