For Those Who Keep Asking...I'm sorry, but I do not do commissions, or take requests. I'm just far too busy anymore to do anything of the sort. I have been known to do trades, but it's on a very strict basis, and not very typical. For Those Who Keep Asking...2 months ago in Personal More Like This
If and when I DO open up commissions, I usually post a journal here on dA about it. So if you follow me and want to know, this is the place where you'll get the info.

How NOT To Draw: The Goggles Do Nothing - Part 1If you've been on DeviantArt for any length of time, you'll probably happen upon some really scary stuff. I'm not talking about stuff you'd see in a haunted house. Nope. I'm thinking more like your nightmares after eating a ginormous pizza and mozzarella sticks, then washing it down with some pepsi or your soda of choice, then falling asleep on your couch, too tired to drag your bloated gut to bed.How NOT To Draw: The Goggles Do Nothing - Part 12 months ago in Art Blogs & Mags More Like This
Ok. Sorry for that image. Some people just aren't into inflation art, which brings us to our first example of How NOT To Draw:
Kphoria is 28, but knows next to nothing about how to draw believable cartoons. He frequently abuses the ellipse tool and seems to be obsessed with vore/inflation. A little bit of vore can go a long way, especially when ALL of the pictures feature fat characters who realistically wouldn't be able to walk, and would be stuck in bed covered in sores and possibly suffering from deep vein thrombosis, aka "economy class syndrome". Basically, if you don't get

As for these: I've seen plenty of Sonic recolours to rat artists like this out. I also don't know where the anime or stolen photos came from, if anyone knows, tell me, and I'll update it on this journal.
Report this guy. He/she didn't give credit or ask permission!
How NOT To Draw: Sacks Of Goo - Part 1In this issue, we have a couple fun ones. I don't know their ages, but they draw like they're twelve or younger, for the most part. When posting art on this site, it's important that you do some studying on basics, as I've mentioned countless times. You must learn about basic shapes, proportions, foreshortening, perspective - lots of things - or your figures will end up looking like sacks of goo.How NOT To Draw: Sacks Of Goo - Part 12 months ago in Art Blogs & Mags More Like This
Here's our first artist: ~HouseOfFrancis
Now I'm not sure how old he is, like I said. He does, however, seem to not know how to draw properly or use the tools in MSPaint to their full potential. He also doesn't seem to know how to give his drawings structure.
In this one, for example, the wolf(or whatever it is) seems to have no skull, or a very soft one, as his spiky hair seems to cut into it. Even those who do heavily stylized art like cartoons with big noses will be mindful of structure, proportions and perspective. T
Critique Me! - Arlos411:iconarlos411:Critique Me! - Arlos4112 months ago in Art Blogs & Mags More Like This
His art does look like it was done by someone about a fourth to a third of his age, but arlos411 is one of those artists who do accept critiques. I've mentioned him in my news article "How NOT To Draw - Act Your Age". As I mentioned in that article, I felt he could do better. Here is an opportunity to improve the content: go to arlos411's gallery and give him some heavy critiques, and perhaps some requests. Show him a photo and ask him to use it as a reference for a practice picture. Show him your favourite tutorials, and maybe some that would help him with MSPaint and Muro.
MSPaint does not automatically make paintings suck, and an expensive program like Corel Painter does not automatically make a painting or drawing look good. It's not the tools you have; it's how you use them. Draw some pictures using these free applications, and perhaps some tutorials on some other free programs.
Here is an example of a drawing tutorial:
How NOT To Draw: Don't Critique Me!!! - Part 1On DeviantART, we are bound to find some talented artists who have gone stagnant because they do one thing that raises the ire of many: they refuse critique. Critiques are wonderfully helpful even to the more advanced artists because no matter how good you get, there's always room for improvement. Even animation artists make mistakes as you've seen in cartoons from the 90's.How NOT To Draw: Don't Critique Me!!! - Part 12 months ago in Fan Art More Like This
The star of this issue of How NOT To Draw is =Tiny-Toons-Fan
As you can see, her art is quite nice, but the linework and perspective need lots of improvement, and she needs to work on the shading as well. It's inconsistent, and as you can see, it looks very dodge/burn-y.
In this picture, the shading on Shirley Loon looks okay, but could be better. The shading on Plucky Duck, however, is very flat and doesn't really conform to the contours of his body that well. She could do better. Plus, she could have made a simple background, instead of just a blank
How NOT To Draw: Act Your Age - Part 1Not everyone acts their age, and I have quite a few examples. How NOT To Draw: Act Your Age - Part 12 months ago in Digital Art More Like This
First off, the babyfurs. There's nothing wrong with having a fetish, and animals wearing diapers can look very cute. However, the line needs to be drawn somewhere. Many of the babyfurs and even adult babies who aren't furries will draw their characters not just wearing diapers, but SPOILED diapers. Honestly, pictures like that belong in a private gallery. Even people looking for art that is not suitable for children most-likely do NOT want to see some grown man, woman, lion, tiger or whatever in a poopy diaper while searching for a painting of a hot naked adult woman. I know the old 'if you don't like it don't look at it' bit, but I've been involved somewhat in the BDSM/fetish scene. In BDSM, those involved tend to have this rule to not involve anyone in their fetishes or play without their consent. That includes no exhibitionism, because traipsing around in public wearing baby clothes or other fetish gear(except maybe at a

~Foxie11Heart and ~darcat1530
Now darcat1530 is the one with most of the fanart, while Foxie11Heart mostly has photographs, but both have galleries full of no-nos.
First off, ~darcat1530
I'm not sure what to make of this artist, and I don't know if he is just very unskilled with digital art. Some of his fanart is quite good, for example his pictures of Charlie Chaplin, but his comics leave much to be desired. For example, in this comic: http://darcat1530.deviantart.com/art/A-Stroke-Of-Luck-1-357622034 the figures look okay but the backgrounds are mostly just patterns, and I don't know if he has permission to use them(could be wrong). These comics, however, just do not look as good as the pictures of Charlie Chaplin. Anyone who can draw something like this: http://darcat1530.deviantart.com/art/Charliefunny-360201970 can certainly do a bett

This is a good example on how not to draw; the swing set looks very lopsided and dangerous. Now if the characters looked like sacks of goo, that could be forgiven due to lack of drawing skill. However, the characters look almost exactly like they do in their cartoon. It smacks of tracing.
Note the heavy flood fills of red and other primary/secondary/default colours, possibly from either GIMP or hax'd Photoshop. The grass looks horrible - it looks as though he used the gigantic Photoshop sponge brush to make the pattern, and that is a very poor way to make a grass texture.
The background has some playground equipment that looks like a cutout, and the right side of the ladder should be a little lower than the left, considering the overall position of the slide.
Also note how unfinished the picture looks. Some parts, like the girl character's eyes and nose, are inked and coloured, while others, like the boy d

Lex ConMy next convention is Lex-con. I will be there Saturday. For part of the day, I'll be in cosplay but most of the day, I'll have my photography gear and will be roaming around photographing cosplayers. I have a shoot with one of the most talented cosplayers that I know, Chelsey Cosplay. I look forward to working with her and to see what kind of creations I come up with. Thanks to all of you who continue to support me. Whether it's here, on my twitter or my fb page. It means alot that people like and take interest in my hobbies. I should have some more photos ready to be posted here soon. Some cosplay and some non-cosplay. Until next time!Lex Con3 months ago in Personal More Like This
Unicon...My trip didn't really start to badly I guess... I missed a turn on the way to the airport because I got distracted. Pooh's Adventures Series: Not Quite a RantI don't know how many of you people have heard of the Pooh's Adventures series on YouTube, but I figured I ought to throw my two cents in while it's fresh on my mind. I'm not talking about the cartoon series that ran on Disney Channel (The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh), but this does involve it. What Pooh's Adventures is, typically, is the Pooh cast going on an adventure through another movie, like the Great Mouse Detective, An American Tail, the Pokemon movies, etc. I used to think this concept was a neat little idea, but now that I've been dabbling in making videos myself, I find it less than appealing to me these days. You could call it a 'crossover' series, since it has Pooh and friends 'interacting' with the surroundings, providing assistance to the characters and dialogue, but from a more critical viewpoint, I just can't find myself liking it.Pooh's Adventures Series: Not Quite a Rant3 months ago in Personal More Like This
The 'dialogue' from Pooh and friends, or from characters when it's not in the original script, involves muted clips with subtitles. W

This one really interested me as my real creative "ability" is writing. I put a lot of thought into my characters and stories, and I have been doing so for years. I don't share my stuff online though, it's too scatty and constantly changing, plus this account is purely for parody art and ranty commentary. I have in the past suggested to dear Keisha that she work more on developing the backgrounds of her characters to make them seem less "sue-ish", and it's good to see she has attempted something, but this was...well...
I am aware that not everbody gonna like my characters, and I respect that (as long as anyone isn't being total d*cks about them and make immature hate-kill art about them like they are the worst things posted on the web -_-).
I can be an immature dick, I admit that . But sometimes I do try to give honest advice.
But this may come as a shock to some of you, but the haters actually give me an idea of making my cha
Journal Commentary v.9898939492I came back from Thailand last night, and I am kind of jetlagged so it's nice I have the next two days off work (still have language class though ). While browsing the intenet I saw my dear "kessielou" :iconKessieLou: had made a new journal entry regarding the drama over her new pairing. I guess I kind of felt some of the points she made were related to the stuff I mentioned in my previous journal...which is kind of cute, as it means she reads it :3Journal Commentary v.98989394926 months ago in Personal More Like This

"This is for those who are sad about the break-up between Rev & Bia, and those who are already outraged that I paired Bia up with Bat-Mite (despite that I haven't even made one single picture of them together):
I personally am looking forward to seeing these pictures though, they will look hilarious. It makes me feel like making a Mary-Sue to pair up with Jar Jar Binks or something. In all seriousness though, if I read a spoiler about two characters in a show I like being given an awkward pairing I woul
