The happiness he exhibits and such tenderness he holds
His life is so dark lately, as he thinks all alone
In that bed in his room enduring all that unfolds
He writes so deeply that it cuts my heart in two
Bleeding, squeezing all my life away
And all I do is just read his regrets, maybe am his muse
Down to one last breath, and the world begins to sway
I am left here . . . just staring at the blinking screen
Watching, waiting for him to make his move
Tonight "I'm fine," he says underneath his silent scream
But I know that he's not all right, he's broken inside
Ever notice that we are lied to everyday?
I could walk right past you and greet you as I go by
You'd ask me if I were okay, as I'd walk away
I'd smile and act fine, though you didn't know what happened to me last night
See that is the strange thing to me, how the world operates today
Society's constantly changing, no more time for quality
I want to hide in my fantasy, cause

Crawling in my forlorn appearance
I hide my soul behind these tattered wings
Tattered and broken as they are
Plucked of light, stained in tears and blood.
In quiet despair upon the cold earth
Smeared in dirt I crouch upon my weary knees
And clutched timidly between my fingers
Rests one last jewel of Hope.
A single unblemished plume plucked
From the silver light of dawn
A feathered ray of light from beyond
To illuminate the void that has me bound.
This precious barb of silk
Once lost as I was and forgotten
Blazes now to immerse me in radiant bliss
To wash away the pain, draw me from the abyss.
So now I fade away…
My tender flesh removed
My shattered wings released
My inner light unsheathed… escapes.

They're happy for us to keep it inside,
Our fear is our own; they don't want to know,
Why sould we involve them; why should it show.
You live your whole life in confusion and fear,
The need to feel something unbearably near,
Half of you living, Half of you gone,
And inside you know what your doing is wrong.
The thing's that can help, the thing's that may heal,
Are the flame or the blade and the sting of the steel,
The destruction of skin means the death of your soul,
But there's nowhere to run when your living alone.

a demons soul, and angels eyes,
blood of fire, and skin of stone,
forgoten in time, to stand alone.
A dragon's scale and burning sand,
grants my service to your land,
when griffin feathers start to rise,
and forms a hold that brakes our ties.
In this wicked tale of blood and bone,
you'll find my heart inside your own,
a single tear that flood the lands,
evil thoughts of blood-stained hands.

He saunters on through the evening gloom,
That ridiculous grin spread wide across his face,
His smile remains constant and so does his pace,
With a twinkle in their eyes and a song on their lips,
They march behind him all the while tongues lash out like whips,
Many gather around anxiously waiting to cheer on his demise,
He simply stares right back through luminous eyes.
