the angel has fallen from her cloud
her wings are tattered and torn
spattered with the filth from the world in which she fell
her face looks tired and worn
her halo is fallen and shattered
against the dark endless hell below
her eyes speak of pain and her broken heart
her spirit cries out in unspeakable woe

In our horizon of darkness and pain.
Glittering forever, yet not more than you.
They will fall right into our arms of bane.

once a jewel in the nighttime sky.
you shone down on the world

by the radiant light of the moon.
stargazers search the heavens for you.
are you lost for good?
