Full body commission for Lightning Fox, done on-demand via livestream!  I have previously painted an older version of this character.  It was a pleasure to take on the new updated version a couple years later.  =)

Work in progress shots can be found in my tumblr, including a little animated gif of the progress - eskiworks.tumblr.com/post/8456…

A commission for Sawolf of his Maned wolf character!  Maned wolves are more closely related to foxes than wolves, and are very unique looking canines.  Take a look here if you're curious - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maned_wo… I love this kind of color scheme, greens, reds and oranges are among my favorite to work with.  And painting that wonderful russet colored fur, my fav!  <3

I'm so glad I finally have time to post this!  A commission for Changer, of two of his characters from his comic, Semper Fi.  The fine tall lady on the left is Sara, and the wonderful tall gentleman on the right is Vartan.  If you want to know more about their background story and the world they live in, Semper Fi is a REALLY good comic, and I recommend it to all anthro fans.

I lack WIP shots of this one because I flattened the file in the middle of painting it.  XD  It didn't impeded my ability to finish the piece, just getting the shots of all the layers at work can't be done now!  Still, I'm pleased with the outcome.  Now, go check out that comic!

A full portrait commission for Televassi, of their wolf warrior character!  These full portraits differ from icons in size and etail.  Icon paintings are very rough, with little refined detail so that they shrink well to be used as icons.  But portraits like these are much bigger, and have much more detail!

This past weekend I was house sitting at my sister's without my work computer, and thought it would be a great opportunity to make a sample for possible future watercolor commissions.  So I took one from a friend to suss out exactly what it would take to do 8.5" X 11" full body watercolor paintings, and this is the final result!

This was commissioned by Hfoursaur as a gift for Kimmikart, of Kimmikart's dread-locked werewolf character Mausey.  I took (crappy) work in progress photos over the weekend so I could document how I went about it.  One of my sister's cats, Cammy, chose the pose for me among the three gesture sketches I did.  Which, as you can see, she indicated by stepping on it while I was working.  XD  See those here in my tumblr - eskiworks.tumblr.com/post/8353…

Working on this over the weekend gave me a great idea of what commissions like this might cost.  So I am currently open for a single painting slot, the details for which you can find here:

Suane commissioned me for something a little less refined than my usual work, a waist-up piece of her feathered ermine character doing fire magic!  I think I did ok given the limited time, I'm not particularly used to doing quick loose paintings.  I think it's something I should do more often though, good practice and good fun.  =)

Finished commission for Victoria, from Thursday's on demand stream!  I got pretty carried away in a good way with this one, and part way through I realized why I liked the concept so much.  I did a drawing around 2003 to 2005 of a female canine character in a red skirt twirling, and I remember really liking the drawing at the time.  It's fun to revisit old concepts, even when it happens subconsciously.  Credit for the title for this one goes to Silana, thanks for the great title idea!

Full body commission for SaWolf, of Samael the maned wolf in full bad-ass mode, walking away from what must have been a harrowing fight!  I tried a new technique on this one that I'm still getting the hang of for the fur, more on this if it continues to be successful.  I like the result here, but I think it needs some tweaking and practice.

A piece for Delta 141 of his character John Ryder!  Firearms are an artistic weakness of mine, especially if anyone wants it to look exactly like a certain model of a real weapon.  Thankfully with good visual references, I can usually do an ok job painting them.  So everyone, enjoy this exceedingly bad-ass looking German Shepherd!

Full body commission for Zasha, of his winged white wolf character!  I love the simplicity of single color characters like this, it always turns out to be a striking look when the art is finished.  I really had a lot of fun with this one, because I LOVE painting wings.  As you can see I am somewhat obsessed with transmitted light through feathers, but I can't seem to stop myself!
