“Am I already dead?”
These words floated through Derrick’s mind as he stared into the abysses before him. He did not know why this foreboding sentence came to mind, but it was there all the same. Derrick stood at the entrench to a deep and dark cave. It was unnerving to him, for more so then any thing he had seen before. The unnerving came from how utterly round the cave was, a perfectly circular hole free of any imperfections. How could something be so perfect in form yet still be so wrong? There was no howling whispers on the wind, nor snarling monsters in the darkness. There was no gloomy moon
Safe Harbors End?The sun was shining and a soft wind was running through the Felaryan jungle. Most of the inhabitants of the dangerous world were lazy today because of the very intensive heat and those who preferred to stay at their caves or other dens, were giving a nice day to all smaller and more helpless creatures out there. But not everybody was lazy today.Safe Harbors End?5 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
It wasnt far away from the small human settlement called Safe Harbor, when the earth began to rumble and the origin of this rumble wasnt an earthquake or a tree that had fallen down, no, it was just a giantess doing her job.
With one hit the naga kissed the ground, she was a younger one and had long, violet hair, a nice and innocent expression, usually because in this moment her expression was a grim of pain because a fist hit her directly in the face and this fist belonged to a gigantic human-like woman.
Jade was her name and today she just wore her top and a very short skirt, the heat was even for her very intensive bu

Enishi who was sitting on the dock looked at the mermaid being hugged with soft eyes, "I am going to miss you too..." she said as she blinked looking at the other merfolk, "All of you I mean..."
Ria got a sarcastic look, "Yeah Yeah we know you'll miss Lunaris..." she said
Hunting training lesson 3It was dark in the big cave in the middle of the jungles of Felarya. The cave was very big, nearby gigantic, no animals were living inside. Its been standard procedure for our department for decades, her partner replied.
Yeah, and thats what I dont get! Theres nothing down here, the young cop said. I mean, look at the scenery. This is all just woods. No houses, no buildings, no people.
One house, replied the older cop.
Deep in the woods. You cant see it without taking a short hike. None of the streets lead to it.
Ah, I see. So we go all the way out here to check on one house that you cant even reach by car? the young cop grumbled. No ones going to go this far out of their way to gaze at some rotting relic out in the woods!

It is not true that a few people are destined for things that are far greater than others; rather it is true that only a few people reach out and grab their destinies, while the others simply allow life to overtake them. Those who reach the paramount of their destinies leave a permanent scar of change on the world below them, scars that change the world for the better. Each one of these people have their own stories, some are righteous and full of war and heroism, others are staged on a more political battlefield, and others still are set in a more mundane place, such as a writer at a desk. This story is the tale of the life of one such hero.
Caspen Smith was not one you could call a normal kid; but in the same breath he really wasn't anything all too special. He was neither a rebel nor a conformist, a genius or an idiot, submissive or dominant; but rather he fell somewhere in-between all these things. One may think doing so makes this college student part

Something touched the wound at her throat, the wounds at her wrists. Whatever it was, it was smooth. Fingers, it could’ve been. That was it. The fingers brushed the hair from her face.

Her new hat, bound with webbing to prevent its falling apart again, shaded her eyes while she worked, which was a pleasant side-effect of wearing it. Vampires: once considered beasts of legend (and still considered such by the general public), these enigmatic monsters seemed to capture the imagination of humans the world round. On almost every continent you can find folklore about some creature that disguises itself as human to feast on human blood. We now know that, despite these myths fantastic qualities, there is a basis in fact to the vampire, as well as a wide family tree of these dastardly bloodsuckers. While almost all known types of vampire are actually human victims afflicted with a virus, there is one species the living vampire, if you will that is actually a subgroup of our own species, whose blood is the root of the plague. The origins of this species go even higher, into planes of reality we have only started to comprehend. This essay will briefly summarize the origin of vampires as well

A Villain Song for Straitjacket
It may seem out of character
But I love this world of ours
I've loved it since I spied it
From behind asylum bars
I love our world's great beauty
Its mighty mountains and vast skies
Its forests, deserts, plains, and seas
Captivate my weary eyes
But I also love what's ugly
And our world provides that too
Violent conflict, death, and horror
Change the world and make it new
Destruction and creation
Make our world so titillating
Ever changing and exciting
Life is endlessly exhilarating!
Our world is whimsy and terror
Full of glorious contrast!
Our life's a thrilling play
And everyone is cast!
There're many gorgeous sights
And a plethora of frights
That will fill our days and nights
With whimsy and terror!
This world is bright and beautiful
But dark and ugly too
With such wondrous diversity
What is it that you do?
You take all the bright colors
And strip them all away
Replacing them with tributes
That are dull and garish

And the tiny dridder filled with fright.
The night was cold with wind and rain.
Flashing lightning scared the tiny dridder,
that could fit in one of his hand.
The young man, with kindness in his eyes, did not refrain.
He sang her this song and held out his hand.
'Little dridder, little dridder, why are you here?
May I pick you up, if you don't lay eggs in my ear?
Little dridder, little dridder, let me warm you up.
I've made some soup and I'll pour you a big cup.
Little dridder, little dridder, let me hold you near.
And may my heart's warmth be sincere.
Little dridder, little dridder, there's no need to fret,
For there is no need to hold any sort of debt.
Little dridder, little dridder, I am no one to fear.
It's true the world is cruel, but there is kindness here.'
As trees gathered rings, time past.
A giant dridder stalked a trail.

Chapter 1: The Game's Afoot!
The sunlight glinted off of Sir Nordau's armor in a most radiant manner in what was sadly merely a pale imitation of his own valor and magnificence. His body was built finer that that of Adonis, rippling with muscles from head to toe but not in a gross body builder way. His face was strong as the soul behind it was just, with a chiseled jaw and high, heroic cheeks. His armor was well polished and attractive while still practical, fitting of a man as virtuous and capable as he. Yes, truly he was the paragon of men.
It was obvious, then, why he had been summoned when the kingdom's fairest princess was kidnapped. Being pure of heart and bold in deed, Sir Nordau leapt at the opportunity to rescue the fair damsel. It was this worthy labor that led him through hill and dale, bush and briar, until he finally reached the cave.
