In days before the Earth was made,
Before the gods were born,
There lived a creature dark and cold;
A mind without a form.
He lived in all of space alone;
No sun to tell the hour.
But not for light or star He craved
For darkness was His power.
For time untold His power grew.
His ego became great.
He thought His power would stand alone
Till time came to abate.
Content He was to contemplate
His power and His might.
Absorbed in thoughts about Himself,
He failed to see the Light.
Alone it came into the realm;
A light amidst the gloom.
It soon was joined by others and
A brilliance came to bloom.
The brilliance grew as other sparks
Appeared to feed the fire.
And in the blaze a mind was born;
Creation its desire.
With joy She looked upon herself
And saw perfection there
Then others like herself She made
With light and ten

Deep, heady scent
Rich and dark

Next I favored crimson
Thick and overpowering scent
Deadly and filled with sorrow

Now I favor black
Midnight crisp and cool scent
Dark and silent
Fit to the times.

The alarm rang, its harsh shriek shattering Lucy's uneasy slumbers. Opening her eyes she glanced across at the numbers on the dial. Ten to nine. She read the clock face again. Still ten to nine. With an exhaled profanity she threw back the covers and jumped from the bed. Bare feet hitting cold stone. She glanced wildly around the room for any moderately clean garments and sighting a pair of semi-laddered tights and a black work dress draped rather forlornly over the door handle, she scrabbled to put them on. Glancing over to the clock again Lucy uttered another curse. She was going to be late. She'd have to tell them there was a bomb drill in her building. She wondered briefly if anyone would bother to check up. Probably not.
Once dressed, Lucy made her way into the kitchen, no longer feeling the need for urgency. If she was going to be late she might as well make the most of it.
The apartment was small but adequate; one bedroom, one kitchen and living area, a small bathroom with a sho

So would a score of drawings seem absurd?
That is the length of the tale that was told,
Brought forth by one author, for all to behold.
A young female was placed in a world not her own,
So a boy of slow wit and a being of dead bone
Set out on a journey, for their cohort, they did seek,
While the female in question explored fruitful creek
And met with a young male of a specific parlance;
She could already tell that his intellect was advanced.
Though she remained in that one world, the duo traversed nine,
Each realm held a difference, held its own set design.
And while they questioned each one for the girl that they sought,
She maintained her composure, not once feeling distraught.
She survived in the suburbs, even collecting some coin,
Before her rescuers arrived and, in that realm, did adjoin.
Back in their own world, the quest reached its cessation,
But the girl then returned to the one of her adulation
And, after giving her smart friend a chan

Farewell Avengers, see you in THE AFTER LIFE!
Tigra threw up her arms in a defensive motion as the mad wizards dome of light radiated faster then even Quicksilver could react, and in an instant she found herself swallowed by it, the world spinning out of control to her heightened senses before all went to black.
Tigra awoke with a groan, her body soar, as she got to her feet, a stiff breeze blowing down the alley made her nipples stand erect beneath her thick coat of fur. Popping her back and stretching her limbs she looked around the alley quickly as her eyes drew into slits and adjusted to the light. A moment later the breeze caught her attention once more as her eyes quickly inspected her striped body, all seemed intact except

These voices I hear are constant. They do not exist, yet are real in their audible cry into my ear.
Does this character have a motive for their action?
They aid me often in what I do. I look over the past page and correct any grammaticals that I see.
Can you exchange this scene for another later on? Would it help the flow of the story?

"Umm what rhymes with 'rhyme'?"
It was a late Summer morning. A little boy was lying on the floor of his room. With pencil in hand and paper before him, he tried his best to continue the poem that he had started.
"I know a few," came the voice of a little girl standing in his doorway, "there's 'lime' and 'crime' and 'slime' and "
"Ah," he exclaimed, "that's it!"
And it must be done in time.
"Thanks, Sis," he said happily, the first part of his poem now complete.
"Sure, no problem," she replied, walking into the room. She crouched down beside him, knees together as she straightened her yellow dress. She looked down at the paper before him and read the first few lines of his work.
"What'cha workin' on, Bro?" she questioned.
"I wanted to try my hand at a little bit of poetry. Y'know, something simple yet effective, not too advanced,

A decade down the line,
The siblings two ate ice cream cones
As the sun did shine.
The boy, nineteen, had a chocolate treat
Double scooped, just like before
And his sis, twenty-one, with a single scoop
Of vanilla, she did adore.
Both were very happy
Eating cream of white and brown,
When again the boy licked just too hard
And a scoop fell to the ground.
The girl looked over, grinning sly,
"You dropped your scoop again?
Though the years did pass us by,
You've still not learned a thing."
She then went back to her own cone
And gave a little lick.
But, just like that day way back when,
The cream fell off quite quick.
The boy looked at the spattered treat,
And then, his face with grin,
"Yours fell again, just like before,
With my one left, I win."
The cream then moved onto his nose,
Her hand the one that pushed,
"Why don't you try your treat now,
After it's been smooshed?"
She walked away, his nose now brown,
And smiling, nice and fine.
He removed the cream and gave a

When I do die,
Will others care?
Might someone cry?
Or laugh aloud,
Filled up with glee,
To know that I
Am now deceased?
Some may be mad,
Or have no care,
Or hear the news
And sit and stare.
I've not a clue
How all may act;
A few, I do,
So here's my fact:
My life is now,
Alive and fine,
Doing my best
With what is mine.
My death will be
The future's past;
Until that time,
I'll have a blast.
So I'll reside
In my present
And live a life

The glances that I take are fearful and too fleeting,
Too soon for my maker that Im destined to be meeting,
An escape is exactly what I need.
These people, costume heavy, play pranks that are too cruel,
Playing them on all to make others look a fool,
And now they say Im next, as goes the Terror Rule
I mustnt let the bullied plans succeed.
Crossing field, over road, and on the path of dirt,
I continued my own trekking, lest I soon be hurt,
Sweat from my brow has now begun to squirt,
And, such luck, I can see my domicile.
But then I see the bullies, their cars now in my way,
Blocking front and back, forcing me to stay
As they grab their vandal weapons, all ready to play,
Forcing me to stay there for a while.
Time had come and gone, and all was such a blur,
I entered into my house, the only one to stir,
I failed, the pranks were something that I could not deter,
Eggs and tissue, on my body, could be seen.

May Break My Bones,
But Words will Never Hurt Me.
This sayings for show,
For most people do know
How powerful words can be.
Words can cause Love
From the Heavens above
And make a life seem quite placid.
From what some others tell,
They can also raise Hell
And burn as though they were acid.
Words can cause pain;
Not on body, but in brain
And can cause a change of ones emotion
Be it written or said,
They well get in a head
And cause thoughts of permutable notion
These words are all dealt,
Depending on how they are felt,
With either good or bad sensation;
Some fall into doubt
And trade within for without,
Even leading to self-mutilation.
You can go grab your sticks,
Your axes, your picks,
And a boulder or rock or stone;
Compared to words that we speak,
These weapons are quite weak,
Even if they can really break bone.
So be careful with words,
Be them read, be them heard,
Be them used to boast up or to shrink.

I am Raven,

Biggest part of me…
A raven rests by my window,
Cloaked against the black sky,
I sit in my room and wonder,
Why is it that I fly?
To be like the solemn bird,
Drifting night by day,
There was a day I made a wish,
And a night I flew away.
Something kept me bound,
To this everlasting night,
Something hidden deep within,
Kept me from the light.
The light, it seemed, found me,
Even now they do not know.
My friends were all I needed,
To banish my darkest foe.
I will never leave them,
To them I will be kind.
They saved me from myself,
Even though they know my mind.
My friends and I are different,
And yet we are all the same,
They make me feel happy,
About the creature I became.
The dark raven is my life,
The reason I am here,
And for my old life you must know,
I will never shed a tear.
The dark raven is my life,
And for my new life you must know,

Kaa couldn’t help but sigh in exasperation when he noticed that Mowgli had escaped without him noticing. Perhaps he truly was loosing his edge if the man-cub had been able to so easily and silently escape from Kaa’s clutches, climb back down the tree, and vanish without a sound.
Of course, it was possible that Mowgli had made a sound at some point, but it might have been blocked out by the OTHER man-cub’s infrequent but nevertheless noisy moans and groans. Every now and then the sleeping man-cub would stretch and give a “Mmmmhh…” or “Uuuuuhhhh…” before her body relaxed again and she made no sound other than her near silent, gentle breathing.
The man-cub was absolutely adorable, and just like everyone else, she looked even better now that she was in Kaa’s coils. But this girl’s transformation was even greater than most, for her strange fish tail had transformed into a pair of pale, skinny, perfec
