Wanted to get another picture of her in the outfit that Ozy designed. Now that this is colored I've pretty much set this as the primary reference piece for Sadira, or at least Sadira in her youth. I may shade this in someday, but I've got to do a lot of practicing first.
This was originally a picture from the Marvel Mangaverse, and I thought it was an easier try than most of the other pics in the book, but I don't really like the way it turned out, I messed up when I digitally inked it, I accidentally inked on the SAME layer as the pencil, instead of on top of it, oh well, maybe someday I'll redo it...
.::WARNING::. New character alert!! Its been a while since I submitted one of my own characters (feels good to start designing again ). This is the daughter of one of my earlier submissions, Keina Tigra.
Quick Character Overview:
Ayumi Tigra, age 18, is a Were-Tiger and girlfriend of Tomoshiro Wilkento. She can be described as a 'tomboy' and a stereo typical 'Tsundere' character (someone with a hot tempered, combative personality that later on turns to being modest and loving). Some of her hobbies include reading light novels, cooking, karate training with her boyfriend, videogames, and weight lifting. Although she loves and respects her mother, she shares a sisterly relationship with her in that they often argue over stupid things. Ayumi is also gifted with her father's super strength and stamina, and her mother's ability to see perfectly at night. She can lift the maximum weight of 3 tons and can run at full speed for up to 45 minutes without tiring. She's afraid of bees, loves playing with yarn balls, and hates when her boyfriend looks at other women. Oh, and her favorite sport is Baseball, mostly because she always hits home runs .
I'm still designing her human and Tiger forms so that will be posted at a later date.
I also hope the background isn't too busy, I was trying something new with the design
I'm a little surprised by how subdued the colors are on this compared to some of my earlier dinosaur pictures. Curious. Inspired slightly by Shanna the She Devil, but you know, dinosaurs plus a cavegirl in a fur bikini has been a staple for a looong time!
I just some new marker paper this past month. I have yet to try it out with human skin tones and detailed stuff, but something compelled me to draw my new character sona thingy named Sheila. I still don't know what she's supposed to be, either a maned wolf or a dhole, I don't know. She just came out of my pencil one day and I have yet to really understand her. I wanted to get a feel for her colors and her overall look.
Sheila is a typical jungle girl, I think or atypical as the case might be. I'm thinking she might be one of those people who acts like the guardian of the rainforest or whatnot.
This paper by the way is Canson fanboy. It's generally card stock, a little more substance than the regular marker papers I've used in the past (like the Pro-marker paper I have used for my commissions), and it doesn't bleed or feather like some other papers I have used (like vellum and cotton mix). Generally I'm pleased, but I need to test it more. That's how I feel about it.
