Teen Titans Go! Review: Is It Worth Your Time?PART ONE OF THE RETROSPECTIVE REVIEW
It's been over a year since this certain show aired... and maybe I could consider myself a big fan of "Teen Titans Go!" But... why? Despite the show having noticeable flaws, and I do enjoy the content of the 2003 series, "Teen Titans" more, I have done a lot from this show, such as fanart, videos, and even animation. Maybe this series is a guilty pleasure. Knowing so much about it, I thought it would be interesting to go through the pros and cons of this series, and share my thoughts about the show itself. Before I go to the content of the show, I'll talk about the animation first.
ANIMATION- There is not much to discuss involving the animation. It's a standard flash animated cartoon, but character movements can look fluid or detailed in action scenes. However, the art style makes it very unique. I do like the character designs. While having simpler bodies, they still resemble the characters. The backgrounds are nice to look at, and the colors
Teen Titans Go! Season 1 ReviewI said that I was going to do this for some time now, and since Season 1 is completed, instead of only episodes I liked and hated, I'll just do tiny snippets of my thoughts on EVERY episode. To make it simple, I'll score an episode by three different ratings. Of course, these are opinion based and you don't have to agree with me on what I write, but let's begin!Teen Titans Go! Season 1 Review1 year ago in Personal More Like This
GOOD episode. It can be either fantastic, or just plain good.
MEH episode. It's decent, tolerable, or even mediocre.
BAD episode. It's just plain bad, or it made me very angry.
"Legendary Sandwich": This was a decent start for the series, and it was also the starting point where you were either turned ON or OFF from the show. The plot was simple, but I got some laughs. I did find it a bit desperate for them to have an MLP joke right at the very first scene.
"Pie Bros": Slightly better than the previous episode, but still nothing special. The pie song was fun
The 5 Best and Worst Episodes of SpongeBobI made a poll a few days ago about if people would be more interested in a "Top 5 Best" or a "Top 5 Worst" episodes list of "SpongeBob SquarePants". I appreciate you guys a lot for voting, and while the "Worst" had the highest votes, it really came almost to a tie. So, I figured why not do both in this journal, and this will be a big one. I suppose we can start with the "Best" first. In all honesty, all these choices were harder to pick than I thought, but know that this is my list and opinions. The 5 Best and Worst Episodes of SpongeBob2 years ago in Personal More Like This
5. IDIOT BOX- This was a laugh-out-loud episode for me. Spongebob and Patrick buy a giant television, just so they can play in the box, thus imagination and hilarity ensues! It was also funny to see Squidward trying to resist the fun of imagination, but in the end, he gets to experience it. The part I laughed at the most was the "boxing" scene.
4. THE CAMPING EPISODE- Another episode I enjoyed featuring the three. Again, it was hilarious and I loved the Campfire Song. Yes, this episode doe
Teen Titans Go! Review: The Main FivePART TWO OF THE RETROSPECTIVE REVIEWTeen Titans Go! Review: The Main Five2 years ago in Personal More Like This
One main issue that many people have with "Teen Titans Go!" aside from the premise, are the main characters. I can definitely see where this comes from. Overall, it would depend on an episode if I would either enjoy the Teen Titans or cannot stand them in the slightest. Generally, since this is a comedy-themed show, there is little chance of ever having character development. However, it would still be interesting to see how the Teen Titans are in this new show. NOTE that I'm mainly going to talk about the negatives of each character, and it doesn't mean I dislike them and that they act like this all the time.
ROBIN- Generally, he can be a good leader, by being alert and competent when fighting crime. However, he can be a jerk and an egocentric in this show. In a few episodes, he would say that he's a superior leader and the only one who matters in the team. However, with those tendencies, I do not hate him. Depending on your opinion on the new Robi
Discussion: NickelodeonSo, I've been watching Nickelodeon recently to see how it stands up today. To be honest, I haven't been watching this channel much at all, and there are plenty of reasons for this. The channel has problems and needs improvement. Before I talk about the channel as a whole, I'll talk about some of the shows that are airing now.Discussion: Nickelodeon1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Spongebob Squarepants: Look, I understand why the show was popular in the first place. It was a simple nicktoon that provided surprisingly clever humor that many liked. However, despite the stale quality it has now, 15 years of exposure is more than enough. I feel that after the second film, the show needs to permanently end.
The Fairly Odd Parents: This show was never a favorite of mine, but I used to enjoy the early years of its run. As of now, it's another show I feel that needs to end. I don't hate the show, but I don't care much about it anymore. I still wonder why add the fairy dog, Sparky in the series.

This...this isn't gonna be pretty. I'm not pulling punched here. This has been pissing me off ever since Yang vs Tifa aired. If you don't know, Yang won and lots of people disagreed with it. That's fine if you do, I don't care about that.
What I do care about is when you're a shitface about it.
People have just been bitching and moaning like dumbasses ever since the fucking episode aired. One guy called it the worst episode of Death Battle....really? Is that really all Death Battle fucking is to you? Just some fucking worthless way to end an argument?
Think about this: Take your favorite episode of Death Battle, and flip the outcome around. Would you enjoy it any less?
If the answer is "yes" than you're a fucking moron plain and simple.
If you hate an episode JUST for the results, you're a fucking idiot.
What actually makes a bad episode: Shitty writing, shitting animation, shitting ACTUAL QUALITY RELATED THINGS FOR FUCKS SAKE

SpongeBob SquarePants ReviewI did a poll at the beginning of this week listing three reviews of cartoons I'm wanting to do soon. Amazingly, "SpongeBob SquarePants" so far has the highest number of votes. Since on May 1st it will mark 15 years since the show has aired, I think this review will be pretty fitting to start first. What I will be talking about, is nothing new. It will describe my opinion on how the show stands up with it's Pre-Movie and Post-Movie episodes, the characters, and why it's still popular today.SpongeBob SquarePants Review2 years ago in Personal More Like This
PRE-MOVIE: What can I say that hasn't been said? These were the episodes that brought SpongeBob into popularity in the first place. While I think the First Season was quite a good start, Seasons 2 and 3 are considered the gold for many. The reason for this is because throughout this period of the show, most of the jokes were clever and funny that can appeal to children and even adults. In fact, they are even memorable even to today on the internet. Now I'm not going to lie, there are a few bad episod
Hard Times for Nick? Let's help fix that.UPDATE: I talked things over with the head of the "Rise and Fall of Nickelodeon" group on Facebook, the people I accused of taking joy in people losing their jobs, and it turns out it was a big misunderstanding. He and I actually agree on a lot of things Nick is going through and he was only directing his schadenfreude at the higher-ups of Viacom, the real bad guys who make the poor decisions that affect the hardworking artists. On top of that, he actually does want to see Nickelodeon improve; He just seems mean because he uses a "tough love" approach. In short, he's really a good guy with good intentions and, like him in this update he wrote, I'm sorry for this mess. However, I'm keeping this journal up (with a few alterations) to let people know about a kinder approach to helping out the artists of Nickelodeon. For those of you who are interested in the tough love method I mentiHard Times for Nick? Let's help fix that.8 months ago in Personal More Like This
Teen Titans Thoughts!- Money GrandmaYeah, this one is an "Animated Atrocity". Robin was incredibly self-centered here. He starts a campaign so he can be re-elected for leader, something that NO one even cares about. While Robin tries to make himself look perfect, Raven brings George Washington (or... "Money Grandma") because Robin suggests he is better than the president. Aside from Robin acting like a jerk, I didn't much here. But hey, at least Robin becomes the first president of the United States in the end... wait, what?!Teen Titans Thoughts!- Money Grandma1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Review of Equestria Girls (No spoilers)First off I just wanna say that I loved this film. No I'm serious, it was awesome! And here a lot of you were skeptical of the whole idea and being so negative and junk! Well just as usual, we were proven wrong with this just like a lot of haters were proven wrong when they finally decided to watch the show and joined the fandom.Review of Equestria Girls (No spoilers)2 years ago in Personal More Like This
This movie had all sorts of great stuff to it. Everything from the fandom nods continuity consistency and good fillers for what would have otherwise been irritating plot holes. One good thing about this film is that it really stays true to the same formula they use when developing Friendship is Magic for television. The characters, although standing on 2 legs and having digitals rather than horseshoes, are all very much like they are in the show in their pony forms and they do not disappoint. There might be a few differences here and there in some characters but I'll get into detail with that in my review that will con
Just A Cartoon RantJust a little something I felt like writing. I do apologize if it sounds negative, but writing things do make me feel better. I know that some people are very passionate about animation. So am I, and there are many things I find great and endearing about it. But sometimes... there are moments where I say, "It's just a cartoon".Just A Cartoon Rant7 months ago in Personal More Like This
What I mean is... sometimes, I don't care if something is good or bad in people's eyes. I just like being entertained. It's like for "Family Guy", if I laugh at something, I like it. It's just that I personally feel that people shouldn't be critical at ALL times, especially when it's something that you find bad.
Look, there are things that I dislike too. But... to keep hearing the same thing over and over... how "Teen Titans Go!" sucks, how "Family Guy" is crap... some people need to JUST SHUT UP. If you don't like those shows... why are you still complaining about them? But, I know I can't control people. This is just me talking here.
Cartoons are Just for Kids.I had this topic in my mind for several days, but I'm quite curious why some people continue to think this. Yes, a majority of children's programming are animated. However, there are a few cartoons that are aimed for adults. Yet, there are plenty of adults who are interested in children's cartoons.Cartoons are Just for Kids.1 year ago in Personal More Like This
This can lead to one thinking that, "It's strange how a grown adult is watching cartoons for kids." Yes, it would depend on the show's targeted demographic, but let's bring some examples in.
Why do you think many people are so embarrassed to admit in real life, that they like "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic"? It's a show targeted for little girls, and being an adult who enjoys the show is abnormal. But why does this series have a very popular fanbase? The show appeals to many due to its good writing and entertaining characters.
Another example is "Arthur". It's a show on PBS Kids that has lasted over 18 years, and there's a reason for it. While it's demographic is mainly for kids,

And honestly, I'm not feeling it. Doug Walker (aka The Nostalgia Critic) has been doing a series where he's been vlogging his experience watching the original Avatar series for the first time (Take a look they're actually really good go watch them! http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/specials ). He's a new fan to the series and his enthusiasm and critique of the original series has only helped to intensify my loathing and hatred of The Legend of Korra's disastrous season finally.
The more I remember how amazing and awesome the original Avatar series is, the less I am interested in picking up the pieces and following these unlikable characters through another series of exploits, especially after haphazardly killing off the main villain in such a clumsy and awkward way. Not only that, but there's no growth to the main character at all. There's no journey of her learning how to be an Air Bender the way there was

Like many of you, I was privy to the ongoing “takedown” of this latest Disney cartoon through various forums and blogs online. And this is a spectacular reason why you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. So much of the pre-release hatred was focused on trivial things (some of which had been changed without the community knowing for a long time) and on pointing out minor technical errors that I kinda feel like people were WANTING to hate this movie from the start. (And full disclosure here: I even participated in some of that pre-release hate.)
To be honest, after I saw it I felt kinda “meh” about it. But the more I’ve let it sink in and the more I’ve thought about it after the fact, the more I began to appreciate it (Which is always good). It’s better to have a movie start off meh and become a favorite over time than one which y
Stuff From E3 That I -Personally- Find InterestingI’ll be honest. I haven’t really been “in” to gaming in quite some time. Chock it up to the fact that I don’t own ANY of the current gen consoles and that my job has taken up too much of my life to really dedicate much time to playing anything. Even still, I browsed the announcements at E3 this year and this is what I have to say about some of them.Stuff From E3 That I -Personally- Find Interesting1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Wayforward’s success has allowed Shantae to finally get an ending to the 3 part storyline that spans decades. Starting from the Gameboy Color, going to NDS-ware, and now finally as a new game available both on the 3DS and Wii-U eShop. Wow... that’s kinda impressive for a small series that not many have heard about.

So... imagine Skyrim’s open worldness... mixed with Zelda.

The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! ReviewWARNING: Below will contain spoilers. The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! Review11 months ago in Personal More Like This
Well, this was an unexpected review, but since I'm still in the Drawn Together mood, and I did watch the movie online last night, I decided to give a review. Before I begin, this review is coming from a fan of the series. However, I respect anyone's opinion for those who don't like the series. And trust me, this movie shows the reason why in every way...
The main plot is about the DT gang discovering that their show has been cancelled, and when The Network Head finds out that the gang is still alive, he sends I.S.R.A.E.L. (Intelligent Smart Robot Animation Eraser Lady, and is oddly voiced by Seth Macfarlane) to erase them for good.
Now I will admit that this was an interesting premise to have for Drawn Together, and according to the movie, Drawn Together was cancelled due to not having a point, and the Suck My Taint show (
Controversial OpinionsYou know, sometimes having opinions can make you feel like no one else shares your views, especially if your views aren't being widely vocalized around you. Case in point: It's just been announced that J.J.Abrams will be directing Star Wars 7, and the internet is raging with butthurt about how shitty Abrams is, making over abundant lens flare jokes, and bemoaning the reboot of Star Trek in the process.Controversial Opinions3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Thing is... I like J.J.Abrams. I liked LOST (despite it's shitty/rushed ending). I liked Super 8. I liked Cloverfield. I even enjoyed the recent Star Trek reboot and am looking forward to the sequel. I never had a problem with lens flares or noticed them being over used. And I think overall Abrams has made a fairly consistent batch of quality movies, which is a amazing considering how many directors flip flop between great and shitty.
But I can't often come right out and say that sort of thing because when I do I get attacked for having an opinion that runs counter to the vast majority o

5) Jak and Daxter.
I really love the first Jak and Daxter game. It's exactly how I imagine typical but good platform game. Nice Character designs, wonderfull fantasy world, some small but nice humor, a decent story, good gameplay and some good and creative missions.
Then there was part 2... and for my taste, specially in compare with part 1, it was horrible. The nice livehearded fantasy world got replaced by a clichee dark alternative evil future world and lot of The Characters (accept Daxter) where totally uninteresting, the control of vehicles was terrible, specially if you have time limit, its impossible!
Noting so much against going a bit more dark, but in my opinion they got way too quick way too dark, leaving nothing left of what make part 1 so great...
So I would like to see a reboot of p

Hey guys, I'm currently having writers block on my personal project so I decided to make two lists I'm certain you've been waiting for. I am going to start with the characters I personally hate and then afterwards I'll make a list of character I do like. Now, I want to note that if you like these character I will not judge you, I will not look down at you, I can respect you for it. These are just the characters in fiction that just drive me to my breaking point. So, without further hesitation, here are my top 10 most disliked characters.
#10 Gart Default from Robot and Monster
All I can really say about this guy is that he's not the worst character on the list, but he is defiatly a dick. He only lives to torment his brother, harm his workers, pretty much has roaylty sucking his golden metallic testicles. Yeah, he's like Mr. Burns except where Burns at least had some redeeming qualities, Gart has none. Gart is pretty much every evil boss character incarna
Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.Nintendo STEALS Money!3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest
Top 11 Worst Episodes I've Reviewed - Year 2Alright, so this year I didn't have enough time to make a video of the Top 11 Worst Episodes that I've reviewed. (also I've changed the rules. Everything I've reviewed this February counts as Year 3 reviews) But since people did vote, I don't want to leave them in the dust or anything. I'm going to write what down what I'd say in the actual video, and on the bright side... this one won't get taken down for copyright infringement. I'm also not going to say how many votes each one of them got because after awhile I stopped counting. Number 1 on this list had over 750 points. Needless to say I've taken on some really, really bad shit in my second year of reviewing and you guys agree with me. Your bottom five is the same as my bottom five, just in a different places.
