"Oh, Science! Leave me here, if you must, just don't taunt me!" Marlton yelled from down in the bunker. He'd already been sitting there for about two days, and was not enjoying the tinned food, repeatedly complaining about how disgusting it was where he was sitting. Muffled voices came from outside the door, and Marlton could not help but hope maybe the owner of the voice would get him out. The voices faded away, and he continued moaning about bacteria and building his device.
Suddenly, a bang came from up top, and light flooded into the bunker.
"Hello? I heard yer from up here, ya okay? Listen, I know a path into the nearest town so ya can stock up with resources if ya need, and I could kinda use a helpin' hand," called a feminine voice.

The horn blew, and TEDD announced, quite happily, that they were "Now approaching a run-down gas station and a diner filled with undead things which wanna kill you!" Because Misty, Marlton, Sam and Russman weren't already loathing every minute.
"We should fill up on fuel then. Russman don't want to break down in the middle of nowhere, especially with Darlington here," ordered Russman.
"It's Marlton," muttered Marlton.
"Alright. Stu and Russman, you'll scavenge whatever fuel you can and fill up the bus. Marlton, you'll come with me, and we'll stock up on food, water and ammunition," added Misty.
They each made sure their weapons were fully reloaded. Russman and Sam stood at the front door, while Marlton and Misty stood at the back door, all waiting for the bus to stop. As soon as the door opened, Marlton fell out and huddled into a ball on the ground.
