so Ive had a few people ask me how i do my paintings (even tho i only just started doing them and finsding my style aha) so i decided to just make a little process tutorial
i did it of this painting:
I also even added my 3 FAVOURITE/ MOST USED brushes I literally use these brushes for everything the first i use for sketching and lining, 2nd i use for colouring and 3rd for details and painting ;v;
a few things I feel i should point out/say: - This is how I personally paint, you DO NOT have to do it the same as me and actually i urge you to try and find your own style and process. Tutorials like this are great as a guide to look at and get ideas for finding your own process - also the brushes you are free to use but also dont try to use them as "ooh i have this artists brush itll make me just as good as them" this is wrong (not saying anyones like this ive just seen it happen before so im pointing it out) The brush does not make the artist! just an important thing to note
you can completely ignore this or whatever i just thought i should say it
hope you like my process ;v; character used belongs to: bananamantis Program used: Paint Tool Sai
For first timers and anyone who doesn't know how to start I guess. I know this has been done over 9000 times but a few people were asking me so I thought I'd help out . . .? I'M SORRY ;_; I probably didn't even help much, this seems kinda like the most useless tutorial to me . . . xAx;;
Honestly I just feel super out of place making a pixel tutorial because I don't even know what I'm doing either.
Also I really don't even like how the pixel of Pokit came out in here, it looks messed up and I'm sorry, I really didn't feel like pixeling today but I did anyways and this is what I get. e_e
I have received some asks here about making a tutorial on how to draw Russia's hair. Since I already covered this topic up on tumblr, I decided to use my explanation from tumblr This is just based on my observation's when reading the manga Not really official
Really, Russia's hair partition is very random so it's really ok whichever side you draw his bangs haha Usually, it parts on the left (viewer's POV)
Hello! I've been asked about how to draw poses and hands and stuff~~ This isn't so thorough or explanatory, because my answer for those questions is to JUST DO IT :3 You gotta practice the body parts in relation to each other and feel free to look at stock photos for pose references if you need to!
I tend to wing it when I draw, and erase the bodies over and over until I find a pose that suits the character~ ^__^ I love erasing, lol!
I wonder if this is even remotely helpful -- oh well! it's out there in case anyone likes to look it over! :3
As for how to draw and colour eyes, you can find many tutorials on those. My eye styles are quite simple so it shouldn't need any step-by-steps. ^^b
/wauwauwawu this is surprisingly popular with you guys, hee I'm glad! ^b^ ))
