You sighed as you went back to your home carrying a bag that the sundress that Alfred had purchased for you. It was a Dot printed Dark Blue Sundress. It was placed neatly in the paper bag along with a Dot printed Red Sundress, and a plain white one. As usual you were home alone. Your step-family would always leave you alone, and to your surprise, you had just receive a text Aramina saying they had moved out. 'Oh, so that's what the boxes those past days are for. They were repacking, I couldn't care less.' You thought, as you began replying to Aramina with the message, 'Don't Care'.
You saw the house was tidy, it looked like your old one. No more magazines scattered as such. You went upstairs to your room, and placed out the sundresses one by one. "Honestly, Jones, you shouldn't buy this much to me." You rolled your eyes, remembering what had happened.
As Alfred dragged you towards the Department Store to buy you some sundresses, on the same time,

"These are dark times for a child to come into." a voice whispered through the silence.
"You think I don't know that?" a second voice hissed. "It's getting more dangerous with every passing day. Pokemon are getting corrupted everywhere because of this cursed darkness. And- oh! Look! It's hatching!"
The two Pokemon looked down at the Egg cradled in the mother Sceptile's arms. The father, another Sceptile watched it start to shake with an unreadable expression. His yellow eyes narrowed as thoughts ran through his head. A newborn in this world. It'll never survive. Children are supposed to bring Hope and new life. Not here. Not in a world where the sun no longer rises.
The Egg shook violently and a small crack appeared in the shell. Then another. And another. Small, hard pieces chipped off onto the cold cave ground. Finally, cracks looking like lightning spread over the shell, and it broke into pieces. In its place was a
Mariku in Asylum "Release me!" shrieked the sole inhabitant inside of the darkened room. Everything was robed in black and had been for quite some time. Had it been months yet? Certainly it had been days at the least. "Release me!" the voice ordered again but more desperate then before. Still the area around the demon remained the disgusting shade of black. It was unbearable and yet in this hell of blackness the demon had seen shapes that moved around his person. They too were black but he could see them, feel them even as they drifted around in the vacant room, just as silent as they had always been from when they had first arrived.Mariku in Asylum4 years ago in Horror More Like This
People were dead and it was his fault. Oh- oh God, what had he done? Mariku clawed at the padded walls in a vain search for the door the blended in all too well for a handle that never existed. His stomach tightened at the memories as he recalled his actions. His wicked mother laying still on the floor in an ever growing pool or blood. H

"Treasure Town: West." I read the sign at a crossroads where three dusty roads came together. Grey, grassy fields surrounded all sides. At least, that's what the sign used to say. The words had been crossed out and these words were scratched out below the original:
"GIVE UP. EVERYTHING IS LOST. DARKNESS HAS RISEN WHILE THE SUN HAS NOT. THERE IS NOTHING LEFT."
I shuddered as I read the words. It had only been a few hours since... the burning at the pillars. No. Don't think about that. I forced the thought out of my head. I had traveled through the night, or what counted for it, anyway. At that moment, I was just trying to find a place to rest, and a former town sounded like a good place to start.
I turned down the westward path and watched the scenery go by as I walked. Rocky formations rose out of the earth on both sides. They were dark grey, and the trees belo

And I had to teach my class,
I wouldn’t teach them algebra.
To that, I’d take a pass.
I wouldn’t teach them how to spell
Or to sing the ABCs.
I wouldn’t teach them reading
Or how to write a cursive “T”.
I’d teach them how Hoola Hoop
While standing on one leg.
I’d teach them to be sneaky
When hiding Easter eggs.
I’d teach them to roll down a hill
And how to walk when they get dizzy.
We’d learn all about soda pop
And what it is that makes it fizzy.
I’d teach them how to make grass whistles
And to play a didgeridoo.
We’d learn how to make funny phone calls
And what it takes to run a zoo.
We’d learn about what makes houses haunted
And we’d learn to paint a face.
I’d teach my students how to jockey
And how to win an ostrich race.
If I were a teacher,
There’d be no books to bring.
If I were a teacher,
We’d learn important things

Is it okay if I say that there's no love
as beautiful as ours?
Because these feelings inside, they're controlling me,
They're driving me mad, but I feel so free!
I'm head over heels and I am falling so fast,
But as long as you're with me, I'll have a blast.

Your daughter merely looked at you puzzled, her head cocked to the left slightly as she tried to figure out what you were saying. You had been trying all evening to get your daughter to say mama but that wasn’t working at all. She would only make gurgling sounds and then start laughing when she saw you frustrated.
After much frustration and trying your hardest to not let a curse word slip out of your mouth, you decided to do something fun.
“Hey!” you beamed. “How about I teach you some Japanese words?”
Mary clapped her hands excitedly and you scooped her up into your arms and placed her onto her booster seat so that you could also cook some dinner while teaching her. While rummaging around in the kitchen, you picked up an apple and walked over to her holding the apple near her face.
“Okay so this is an apple. In Japanese it’s called ringo,” you pronounced the word slo

You sat on the sofa completely mesmerised by the beautiful sight in front of you, prince Loki. You had a big crush on him since...forever, you don't know when, how or why it started but now you were ruining your life by doing nothing but think about the prince. You were so hypnotised by Loki, who was talking with Thor and Tony, that you didn't even notice Clint and Natasha come over and sit on the couch next to you.
"Watcha lookin at (y/n)." Clint's words made you snap out of your trance, you hadn't realised you had been staring.
"Ooooh, denial, that means you must of been staring at someone, who was it?" Natasha asked.
"I-I wasn't staring at anyone."
"Ooooh! Even more denial! that means it's a crush!" Clint teased.
"When did you start reading girls?" Natasha asked.
"C'mon it's obvious, and besides, I can read girls like books any way."
"Since when?!?!" They both started arguing, again. They always did. As the two spies were arguing you tu
Losing [Tomoe x Reader]Losing [Tomoe x Reader]1 year ago in Romance More Like This
I hated losing.
It was a matter of perspective really, but to me, losing was never an option, would never be an option. It certainly wasn't about to become one now. That way of thinking though is rather petty. But regardless --I knew it was myself-- nothing was to be changed, I wouldn't be 'the stubborn one' as the hypocritical fox would say.
I was stubborn, for all the mirrors the vain fox had --he was many things, the hypocritical, the vain (I was only stubborn)-- he was most definitely the kettle calling the pot black. I openly embraced my stubbornness.
I yelped, as the sensation of frigid water awoke me from my sleep. Raking my fingers through my now sopping wet hair, a familiar blueish hued leaf drifted in front of my eyes falling into my lap. I glowered down at it, flicking it away with my fingers, as I pried away the damp sheets with a grimace.
"--Uggh... My clothes are soaked. He could have--." My knowledge of how his magic exactly functioned

You didn't hear a word from me unless it was needed.
I stood back and took but ignored insults and bullying.
My belief was that at some point it would all go away.
But life has taught me that bullies just get replaced.
Be it by people, objects or fears; they will always be around.
But I have changed.
I have grown.
And I won't allow anyone or nothing to break me.
I will stand and defend my ground.
