I'll be the one, if you want me to
'I'm leaving.' Those were the last words she ever spoke to me.
No explanation. No grand speech to explain her reasons. Nothing. No other words escaped her lips. I found myself lost for words.
I watched her leave with her suitcase and backpack. I sat on the edge of our bed, twiddling my thumbs and running my fingers through my hair. I couldn't find the words to say to try and make her stay.
There was nothing I could say. Nothing I could do.
My mind was screaming all the words my mouth refused to say.
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you
She wouldn't answer her phone. Not just to me. To Sam, Castiel, Charlie. Anyone.
I texted her. I left voicemails. I've called so many times that I've lost counts. I used to keep count but once it was over ten I stopped. There was no point.
What was the point? She left and was clearly never coming back. An idiot could see that.

Darkest Before the Dawn
"Treasure Town: West." I read the sign at a crossroads where three dusty roads came together. Grey, grassy fields surrounded all sides. At least, that's what the sign used to say. The words had been crossed out and these words were scratched out below the original:
"GIVE UP. EVERYTHING IS LOST. DARKNESS HAS RISEN WHILE THE SUN HAS NOT. THERE IS NOTHING LEFT."
I shuddered as I read the words. It had only been a few hours since... the burning at the pillars. No. Don't think about that. I forced the thought out of my head. I had traveled through the night, or what counted for it, anyway. At that moment, I was just trying to find a place to rest, and a former town sounded like a good place to start.
I turned down the westward path and watched the scenery go by as I walked. Rocky formations rose out of the earth on both sides. They were dark grey, and the trees belo

"These are dark times for a child to come into." a voice whispered through the silence.
"You think I don't know that?" a second voice hissed. "It's getting more dangerous with every passing day. Pokemon are getting corrupted everywhere because of this cursed darkness. And- oh! Look! It's hatching!"
The two Pokemon looked down at the Egg cradled in the mother Sceptile's arms. The father, another Sceptile watched it start to shake with an unreadable expression. His yellow eyes narrowed as thoughts ran through his head. A newborn in this world. It'll never survive. Children are supposed to bring Hope and new life. Not here. Not in a world where the sun no longer rises.
The Egg shook violently and a small crack appeared in the shell. Then another. And another. Small, hard pieces chipped off onto the cold cave ground. Finally, cracks looking like lightning spread over the shell, and it broke into pieces. In its place was a

You saw the house was tidy, it looked like your old one. No more magazines scattered as such. You went upstairs to your room, and placed out the sundresses one by one. "Honestly, Jones, you shouldn't buy this much to me." You rolled your eyes, remembering what had happened.
As Alfred dragged you towards the Department Store to buy you some sundresses, on the same time,

Your daughter merely looked at you puzzled, her head cocked to the left slightly as she tried to figure out what you were saying. You had been trying all evening to get your daughter to say mama but that wasn’t working at all. She would only make gurgling sounds and then start laughing when she saw you frustrated.
After much frustration and trying your hardest to not let a curse word slip out of your mouth, you decided to do something fun.
“Hey!” you beamed. “How about I teach you some Japanese words?”
Mary clapped her hands excitedly and you scooped her up into your arms and placed her onto her booster seat so that you could also cook some dinner while teaching her. While rummaging around in the kitchen, you picked up an apple and walked over to her holding the apple near her face.
“Okay so this is an apple. In Japanese it’s called ringo,” you pronounced the word slo

I hated losing.
In my point of view, losing was never an option. And it wasn't going to be one now.
I suppose that my way of thinking is..... Petty. But regardless, it was.
Shrieking, I raked my fingers through my now sopping wet hair, before shaking my head sending droplets of water flying in the air. "Uggh. My clothes are soaked. He could have woke me up another way......" Hissing, I pried the damp sheets off of me, wondering how he had.. Never mind, most likely he would provide a lengthy explanation on my current lack of knowledge of magic. "He's not going to win."
"Lady _______? Are you alright?"
"Hmmmm?" The Mikage shrine spirits were standing at the door greeting me hesitantly, an awkward smile masking their expressions. "Good morning Onikiri, Kotetsu." They might know...
My voice came out colder and harsher than I expected, venom dripping from my words, as I dried my hair

And I had to teach my class,
I wouldn’t teach them algebra.
To that, I’d take a pass.
I wouldn’t teach them how to spell
Or to sing the ABCs.
I wouldn’t teach them reading
Or how to write a cursive “T”.
I’d teach them how Hoola Hoop
While standing on one leg.
I’d teach them to be sneaky
When hiding Easter eggs.
I’d teach them to roll down a hill
And how to walk when they get dizzy.
We’d learn all about soda pop
And what it is that makes it fizzy.
I’d teach them how to make grass whistles
And to play a didgeridoo.
We’d learn how to make funny phone calls
And what it takes to run a zoo.
We’d learn about what makes houses haunted
And we’d learn to paint a face.
I’d teach my students how to jockey
And how to win an ostrich race.
If I were a teacher,
There’d be no books to bring.
If I were a teacher,
We’d learn important things

You sat on the sofa completely mesmerised by the beautiful sight in front of you, prince Loki. You had a big crush on him since...forever, you don't know when, how or why it started but now you were ruining your life by doing nothing but think about the prince. You were so hypnotised by Loki, who was talking with Thor and Tony, that you didn't even notice Clint and Natasha come over and sit on the couch next to you.
"Watcha lookin at (y/n)." Clint's words made you snap out of your trance, you hadn't realised you had been staring.
"Ooooh, denial, that means you must of been staring at someone, who was it?" Natasha asked.
"I-I wasn't staring at anyone."
"Ooooh! Even more denial! that means it's a crush!" Clint teased.
"When did you start reading girls?" Natasha asked.
"C'mon it's obvious, and besides, I can read girls like books any way."
"Since when?!?!" They both started arguing, again. They always did. As the two spies were arguing you tu

against my voice box
and they snap
into my burnt-out throat
and they scrape
their graffiti on my sternum.
The sky lives in me for a moment.
A biting sky
that fights for resurrection;
it pools in my eyes
and begs to be read
in the subtext of a stormy exhale --
and that North wind
heads north, heads spinning - heads.
Heads. Guildernstern is dead
All are betrayers.
They tempted the madness in me.
They spoke to it.
It grew bigger. I grew bigger.
I grew until madness blacked the sun
there are shards of arctic sky
in my stomach.
For I have seen humanity spread thin
over the mouldy crust of a dead rock.
I have seen them abolish my stars
and blot out hope.
They grew me,
they cultivated me, groomed me
and now there are shards of the sky,
pinwheeling in my oesophagus.
Now the madness has eaten the moon.
Now, We are over.

To tell the world of how I feel
Never knowing when to say them
Always afraid to hurt or turn away
When walls are finally starting to crack
One word can send the world running back
And I am left missing the dim light that had started to shine
In my heart words and actions are at a standstill
Because I don't want the world to regret
That I was given a chance to live again
And the world was that life giver
But the world is not ready yet
To understand or take what I have to say
What I have to give
Or maybe the world is not willing
If that's the case I may have to forgive them and move on
But until I know I will struggle, work and persevere until I have nothing left
Until not just I but this person realizes that they are my world

Nice is a very nice place indeed, I see why they named it Nice. I wouldn't mind staying here a few more days, some sun would do me nice, but we had work to do. Keenan had been tracing the whole day, which left me alone with Vladislav. I didn't like the guy very much, and neither did he like me. I don't think he liked anyone now that I think about it, I never seen him smile once. He was Russian and was always waring a coat, even in this hot weather he wouldn't take it off. Maybe it reminded him of the cold winters at home, I don't know. Everybody know I hated him, but yet I got teamed up with him time after time.
Suddenly Keenan was standing in front of us, he was a guy that you never saw coming. He was also Vlad's opposite, always glad and willing to chat. He was Irish and had an uncontrollable black curly hair, kinda funny to watch.
"I located him" he said seriously and looked at me. He was a very good tracer, no doubt. "I'll be driving him your way, so move forward a
