Allen's Not So Happy New Year"Happy New Year, darling nephew," chirped the rather joyous voice of Neah Walker as he strolled in to his 'darling nephew's' bedroom, blowing a noise maker into the sleeping boy's ear. "It's midnight~! Wake up and party. This is the last year before the world ends entirely! Come on! Alleeeeen." A cute pout as the handsome Noah leaned over Allen's head and blew air into his ear.Allen's Not So Happy New Year3 years ago in Humor More Like This
A groan was his answer and the white-haired boy swiped at Neah sleepily. "Too early, uncle go back to bed." With those words, he rolled over to face the other direction, away from his obnoxious uncle. It was what 12:04 AM now? Give or take a few minutes. Too early for Allen's liking.
"But it's New Years!"
"Back to bed."
An annoyed huff left Neah's lips as he decided to stop being oh-so-nice about waking up his sweet nephew for New Years. What was a party without party goers, anyway? Pianist hands grabbed at the blanket and a grin crossed his ashen face. "One. Two ." Forget three. Neah yanked at th
Drabbletation - The Bible vs. Your Mind Experience teaches us: individuals immersed in drunkenness, promiscuity, hatred, etc. are incapable of thinking clearly about religion or anything else. The Bible prohibits many things that weaken the intellect, but not a single thing that strengthens it. If the author(s) wanted Christians to be stupid and naïve, Scripture would probably encourage us to get drunk, fight, and fornicate. If Christians were meant to be morally upright but still credulously gullible, the Bible could have at least instructed them to shun learning and cultivate ignorance. In fact, when we actually examine the words of Scripture, they command the exact opposite.Drabbletation - The Bible vs. Your Mind3 years ago in Philosophical More Like This

~Night I: The Rank of Death~
Allen sat alone in his dark and dismal cell. His food tray sat untouched in the corner of his cell. His ankles were rubbed raw from the shackles around his feet. Talismans covered the teen's innocence.
Speaking of whom, the Clown Crown itched with frustration. How could he protect his master all sealed up like this? Why was the Order doing this? The heart clearing wanted Allen out of prison, and he was sure that all exorcists felt her call to their innocence. The Clown Crown couldn't do anything right now in his master's most desperate time of need. That Noah was taking over, and since he had been sealed, there was nothing he cou

Allen was slowly waking up.
He had a feeling like he was waking up from a bad nightmare.
Well, somebody could say he's whole life was often quite a lot like a nightmare... and lately that never-ending bad dream had just gotten worse.
To say it short, the Earl and the Noah had made their best to mess up all what was still left even a bit un-messed of his whole life, a friend had stabbed him almost to death (well, maybe not a friend actually, but let's say an old acquaintance) and then he had nearly lost his soul, mind and body to a Noah who had been living inside him for years without any kind of official tenant contract or even a permission.
To put it nicely, let's just say Allen thought that was really not a polite thing to do.
And right now he didn't even remember what had happened last.
Well, at least he seemed to be alive and nothing hurt...
But something was not
Judging JudgmentsAs a disclaimer, although I am directing this discussion to a Christian audience, I am aware that many people, not just Christians, have a problem with the concept of being judgmental. I have seen pro-gay advocates and atheists throw the "don't judge" bomb to shut down discussion as well as Christians. However, only in Christian circles have I heard the complaint that people are "intolerant of my intolerance." This concept is absurd and it has no place in productive conversation. Let me give an example of an incident I was recently involved in to illustrate.Judging Judgments3 years ago in Philosophical More Like This
I saw a link on my friend's Facebook page mentioning Carrie Underwood's claim that she does not believe her Christian faith condemns homosexuality. My friend, a devout conservative Christian, noted beside the link that he did not know she claimed to be a Christian but "she has this all wrong." I made a comment on the link unrelated to homosexuality, pointing out that

Think about how Americans are when they're weaboos... There's a Japanese equivalent. For every country, actually, this applies. Not JUST America and Japan. All countries copy each other in some number, in some way, it's really no use to complain. Also, think about the numbers, the population. There are more Americans than there are Japanese, so there are more Americans copying Japanese than there are Japanese copying Americans.
With the weaboo number increasing, there are more people being accused and attacked for being weaboos when they're only trying to learn more about the culture and more of the language so they may speak it more fluently than they can currently. This takes time and patience, patience not only of the one learning the language bu

You'll die when you stop
Life goes on
You'll be just a fake memory
Those fake smiles which were so precious to you
All of them was a lie
But you loved those lies
You lied as well
You said everything is okay
When nothing was fine
You thought someone will notice you
But at the end you were the only one who noticed there is a problem
You wanted to break from the circle
But you can not
You wanted to sing and you cried
You wanted to live but you died

Finally, those sad ten years, while I had to stay in the orphanage, passed away. Ten years before, my brother had promised me that he would come for me, because he couldn't take care of both of us - he barely could take care of himself. With a childish mind, I cried to him not to leave me alone, but after these 10 years, I had to admit it, he decided very well. Under those 10 years, lots of thing happened, not only bad, but good as well.
When my brother gave me to the orphanage, I had no friends. Well.. they had their reason for it. To tell the truth, I didn't really like them or the caretakers. Maybe there was only a young one, who had taken care of me in spite of everything. Sometimes she had told me tales.
I hated to admit it, but I loved her tales. She told me about the world, about her lost child.. I pitied her, however I couldn't really understand the weight of life or losing it. One year passed and my calm little life became an exciting adventure. At t

Age: He doesn't tell (Or he says he's 18 but I think that's just a lie because he thinks fangirls like to think he is so young.)
Hair: (In the original body) Dark, short, a bit wavy and sort of cutishly spiky with a personal attitude

Fear held me in an iron grip . Tears leaked out of my (e/c) eyes, and I had to bite my lip to cease the sobs that racked my body. I tasted copper from where I had bitten, I tightened my grip around myself in an attempt to stop shaking.
Why couldn't the pain just go away? The nightmares had been nonstop every night, keeping me from resting. If only I had been stronger, I might have been able to help him and convince them. Their smiling faces flashed in my mind and I started to cry harder in the dark night of the Inn.
When I returned to the order...would they hate me? All I had wanted to do was to see Allen again...it was horrible when they locked him up in a cell...then he disappeared. Kanda, Johnny and I had found him playing the part of a clown and I was so glad to see him, but..

Wind blew and fire shot,
The rage of winged foes.
From jaws opened wide,
Spat forth the blazing light,
The inferno from inside,
Making beacons in the night.
Roaring each like a lion
And striking like wretched snakes,
Upon the grey horizon,
Fought two old, ancient drakes.
Wielding myriad ivory claw,
They ripped across the sky
Gripping at the others maw,
Hoping it would die.
Scales rang as they clashed,
Like metal being forged,
Their horns together bashed,
On blood their bellies gorged.
They climbed higher still
Towards the atmosphere,
All the while trying to kill,
Knowing death drew near.
The beasts were matched up evenly
And entered a steep dive;
If one could not have victory,
Then neither would survive.
As they picked up speed
And plunged back down to earth,
The two dragons then decreed
That death was fate from birth.
Mocking this life's end,
And with righteous fury shown,
To the heavens they would ascend,

Religion is not vile
Only those that make the rules
Or are in charge have guile
Men and women both declare
Themselves above the rest
They wish to rise above the other
To be the best of the best
Be it religion, faith, or lack of both
They themselves are not the key
To the violence and hatred
That spurs us all to today
Everyman is a sinner
Everyman is born with darkness
Darkness that cannot be dissipated
For it festers, grows, and morphs
Until finally it devours
If left unchecked and free
"Morality is relative" you will always say
But the reality of it all
Is that man wishes all bad and corrupt to be good
No my friends religion isn't the problem
That haunts the world today
The problem lies, and intensifies,
With sinful man astray
And man cannot stop themselves
Because we are a fallen race.

"NO! GET AWAY. WHO ARE YOU? WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO SEPARATE ME FROM MY MASTER?! LEAVE US ALONE! I- I- HAVE TO PROTECT HIM! I WILL NOT LET YOU TAKE ME AWAY. GET LOST!"
Those were just a few things I screeched at the small child standing in front of me before I slammed full force into his fragile form. I felt every fibre in his tiny body break, but I didn't care. Desperation controlled my every thought and action. Though time has no power over my existence, I knew my master and I had spent years together. I saw him grow from a child into a man. I had heard his thoughts, felt his feelings, lived his dreams and protected him when I was needed. I was his sword, his blade against the darkness of evil. And now, after all that time, they were trying to take me away from him. I hate them; the red clothed people standing around me, but most of all it was the child I loathed.
He was laying down on the floor which was coated with a deep red. It was the same colour that had s

Aladdin walked with a heavy heart through the castle. It had been many years since the marriage between himself and Jasmine, and by now they had three incredibly brave and handsome children and several dote-worthy grandchildren running amuck in the castle and causing their own little mischief. The kingdom was happy and peaceful and had not been badgered by bandits or thieves during their reign.
Still, the man walked on, sighing. Through the castle walls that he had eventually become accustomed to calling home, knowing that even this was not through the works of himself alone.
He finally reached the room he had come to find.
“Hey, pal,” a voice beckoned from within. Steeling himself for the onslaught of rushing emotions he was sure to face, the former street rat came into the room with a smile. It was meant to comfort both th

On the other hand, I will still condemn such statements as bigotry and even hate-speech. I claim they are hurtful, destructive, and socially unacceptable. Is that unreasonable? When is it appropriate to politely say "I believe homosexuality is bad"? Is it ever appropriate? Why do gays seem to flip out so much over a simple, honest, calmly-stated opinion?
I strongly suspect the lack of understanding between us stems from a difference i

Frustrated ChristianSometimes Christians baffle me. I'm talking about a very specific group of Christians... a group that is much more prevalent and numerous than I want to believe. They want to draw souls to themselves, but they sneer and spit poison when they think no one was listening. They dominate the charity scene, but they pick and choose which people are deserving of their help. Not content to just cling to their faith, they choose to cling just as tightly to their behaviors, insisting that God is leading them so their behavior is right, no matter what anyone says. Mary-sues, Martha-sues, Marty-stus, Larry-Stus and Gary-Stus, we will all come across them at one point. Most of us have heard of them, some have been violently accused of making them via flaming, and others are still naïve to the terms. While people who have been on writing sites for years absolutely loathe them, most are inconsistent with an all-around definition. A majority claim that Mary-Sues are characters that are absolutely perfect in every shape, form and personality, while others just say that they are characters that are just too powerful, unique, or are so clichéd from past characters, and a few say they are self-inserts no matter how well-developed they are. Some on fan fiction sites even say that all Original Characters or Fan Characters (OCs) who are paired with a canon character or just take the spotlight are Mary-Sues. On the other side of the cr
