I remember when we first found this wall walking through this forest. This forest about a half a mile from my house, which was a block from yours.
We were far out into it, losing ourselves in the serenity and taking in the beauty. Together.
Then we saw it. What looked to be an old house, caved in and completely crumbled to the ground, out here in the middle of nowhere. But something stood out.
A wall. A partially unharmed, almost completely clean white wall; it obviously failed to collapse with the rest of its body.
The sun shone (coincidentally) through just the right leaves in the trees and onto the right half of the standing loneliness- the side opposite us.
We found it interesting. So we approached it.
It had a bit of dirt towards the bottom, and leaves were scattered on the concrete that it stood on beneath our feet. It was a few feet wide, and could be pushed over with enough force. I took off my shirt, which was too small anyways, and wiped it off. There
