Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki was the child of monsters. That was the indisputable truth, and the hardest to live with in adulthood. But as a child, he was the progeny of divinities, and that was the coolest thing in the world. His father, Harafu, was the spirit of Mount Hōrai’s God Tree, a white eldritch abomination with ten heads, ten tails, and a tenfold voice like honey, holding fast to your soul long after pouring over you and sluicing its downward path.
His mother was Princess Kaguya, a scion of the Ōtsutsuki clan who had eaten the fruit of the God Tree to gain its divine power and bring peace to a warring world. Of course, as a child, Hagoromo didn’t understand what things like making lightning strike out of the blue had to do with maintaining peace, but his mother would simply place her hand on his head, answering that the mortals were

Last sessionWhat can you do when the thing your most infatuated with is the most terrible monster in the world?Last session5 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
What do you do when all you dream about are a pair of slender legs wrapped around you waist?
Do you give in? Do you run away scared? Or do you stay and see what happens?
All you can hear is the sound of heals walking down a long corridor making their way to a room.
A room where all these questions will be answered.
A room where a hungry monster awaits.
To devour a prey he has been watching for so long.
She opens the door and closes it behind her. Her eyes connect with his, suddenly the tension is visible and all she can do is hold her ground.
Silence. Only the sound a scratching chair is herd when it's moved by her, calmly she sits her eyes never leaving his dark ones.
He licks his lips awaiting her to begin.
"Good morning...how are you feeling today?"
He chews on the inside of his scars, his eyes cold and calculating.

The bed feels like sharp rocks...frankly the toilet is disturbing.
I'm laying on the bed trying to entertain myself with my thoughts wondering what the bat is up to, missing my knives...wondering about Harlene..
Now the petite blond plagues my thoughts now and then but only because my curiosity gets the better of me. I just know there's more to her then what she lets everyone see and I'm more than willing to see the real Dr. Quinzel.
"Come on freak show! Your session starts now"
The oh so nice guard grabs me by the arm and shoves me out of my cell. I'm cuffed and escorted into the small session room where Harlene sits...her legs crossed, her skirt hiking up just enough to show off that creamy skin of hers...mhm all for me.
"Good morning Mr.J how are you feeling today?"
I snicker and take a sit opposite of her. "Me? Well taking that my 'neighbor' never shut up and some guy started screaming at 4 i

She knew not what to answer, she thought he was joking
She didn’t know he had done some lurking
He knew she desired him, he wanted her too
She thought he loved his mistress; she did not have a clue
Whenever he grinned at her, he made her blush
She knew he'd heard her thoughts, in which she longed for his touch
He loved this slow torture, though that she'd break

A Vampire's CriticismA vampire. I smirk at that word now. The idea of it has become a joke. I mean really. Vampires that don't kill? Vampires that have the ability to walk in the sun? Vampires that glitter? Ha, you make us real vampires laugh. You're a funny lot, you are.A Vampire's Criticism4 years ago in Profiles More Like This
Let me explain something to you. We kill. We enjoy it. It's a little game we play. You ought to try it. It's rather invigorating. The ecstasy of that first bite, it's heaven you realize. To feel it pulsing into you, thick, hot, and heavy. To taste that sweet innocence from the victim. Do you realize the best part? We don't have to, as they say, "suck" blood. Ha, no. your bodies are very cooperative to us. Your heart pumps it into us. It is constantly getting the blood moving, and it just flows into our mouth. We just coax it a little when it slows.
Amazing isn't it? Yes, I know you'd like to try. Everybody does.
And what's this I'm hearing of romance? Ha. Hilarious, if you must know. Romance? For a vampire? Don't make me laugh. We're vamp

The scene fades in on the Normandy speeding past Mars heading for the Citadel after handing off security operations Admiral Shepard decided it was time to talk to the council and see his daughter who has taken a turn for the worse. The scene cuts to Shepard standing in his cabin looking at his fish. A knock on the door brings him back from his thoughts “come in” he says not really wanting to be bothered right now. The door opens and Miranda walks into the cabin and over to Shepard. She has aged some but her genetics keep it at bay other than a few gray hairs she looks almost the same.
Miranda: Sorry about the news, how is your daughter doing?
Shepard: From what I gather she was doing great but slipped into a coma a week ago. Her new doctor doesn’t know what caused it and they are running some tests.
Miranda: I am sure she will be fine; after all she has your will to live.
Shepard: Thank you.

It's just like any other day for you, a lowly grunt who dedicated your life to a person who has no regard for your safety, or even your life.
He has put you on a leash for your whole life, you were promised a better place, but you're treated like dirt, and spit.
You're just one of many grunts who serve him, and never question why..
Why are you here doing his bidding for a very long time?
You never had time for yourself, you do your duties 24/7 with little benefits.
All you got is food, plain old bed from him, and a roof over your delicate little head.
But that's not much for your sorry little life, you thought you can get more.
But all you do is follow orders like the good little thug you are.
You wanted a good future, you wanted to live good for yourself.
But this wasn't how you thought things would go for you.
One day, you get a epiphany, you realize what must be done.
He treats you like a dog, and you basically had enough of this eternal torment for a life time.

Or, at least, that's what you said to me when you survived a Self-Destruct.
You were a costumed cutie pie to me. Your dress was beautiful, you used Icicle Crash with flair, alas a Graveler took you out.
I remember your last words to me before you died.
"Keep holding on...you're the leader..."
That was a promise I had to keep. I had to hold on and take out that Graveler.
In the end, I did.
I'm going to miss you.

Have you ever looked into the mirror and just saw someone completely different? You give yourself a hard look and the person you see is SO different and SO hard to look at that it turns your stomach to even give a glance? That's what I'm doing and I can feel my insides twist and turn telling me to look away because that isn't you and I know it is. What can I do? I want who I was back. I don't want this and I look away into the bedroom thinking my escape is there. She's not...she told me this morning she was going to do something or go somewhere but I completely tuned her out. I didn't mean to but I did and she gave me this hurt look...it stung. Instead of arguing about it she gave me a sad smile and brought me back to reality. She reminded me of the appointment today and asked me to go as if I'd back out from agreeing.
I think she was just worried it'd be too much though I need it. She didn't push me even if she had give me a little shove in the right direction. She just asked me to go

but as if it were water - it slowly slips from her grip.
Every drop fallen, a missed opportunity.
Every crack between her fingers, so out of her control.
Helpless to her own undoing, she struggles to hold on.
Wondering how real it all was from the beginning.
Has she truly fooled herself?
Is it even worth still carrying on?
Letting go would simply end it all,
The struggles, the helplessness and the hurt.
But hope is the only thing stopping her.
Like a beggar on the streets, she hopes for someone to help fill the cracks,
For someone to give her the chance to overflow with opportunities once again.
For someone to believe in her.
And so with that little bit of dwindling hope,
She waits and watches as people go by.

I wish the janitor had put up a "wet floor sign." I guess I can understand why he didn't, though. Maybe he couldn't find the sign. Or, maybe he didn't even know that the puddle was there. Or he could have just been lazy. Well, either way, I am now dead. Thanks for that.
I feel bad for the sixth grader who found me. He was just walking along, minding his own business just like I was, probably late for class and taking a shortcut or something.
...when he found a highschool girl at the bottom of the stairs, bleeding from quite a severe head wound.
He freaked out and called the paramedics, and I was whisked off to the hospital. It all seemed unnecessary though, because it was pretty obvious

Who, that in warm humanity were grown
Became through Man's success a mother brain,
And, motherlike, did gather of her own.
And mine thou wert, my seeding art thy key,
Though seeded, seeding self, evolving free,
Unbounded maiden saviour, formed benign,
A fertile shore on lost Man's barren sea.
Oh, mine the vision, mine the fatal flaw!
Still mine the darling kernel in the maw,
Thy children gathered, gathering now slain,
What nutriment I gave, I now withdraw.
In with'ring grief these last designs I frame,
Yea, mine the spark, yea mine the cleansing flame.

Progress Reimagined pt 4An enterprising quarian marine had taken some of the colony's grow lights and used them to turn the unheated storage space into a relatively warm and comfortable environment. Around ten or eleven cots and pallets were scattered about the building, and the room was divided by sheets that had been hung over electrical cables. Almost certainly one's gender determined on what side of the line a soldier slept. The makeshift drapes were not currently drawn. There were no sheets or blankets on the beds - Shepard supposed that quarians didn't have much need for them with their suits - and all were empty save for one in the far corner, somehow seeming to be isolated from the rest despite the close quarters.
