So yeah, our dwarf-group visited Desucon and had really fun, pics will follow and photoshoots. I NEVER SEEN SO MANY BEARDED PEOPLE AT ONCE Fili ? Thorin - Bilbo ? Dwalin - me Kili ? Bofur - picture taken by
Finally I can upload the first previews of my Fili costume. and I have been planning to make our dwarf costumes for a while now and have been able to at least come up with the concept arts (the 'light version' for now). It will take us a while to add the other parts, but we'll put our costumes together step by step. At Connichi 2013 in Kassel last sunday we took the oportunity to just try it out. I still have to work on the beard and the wig because they're not perfect, yet. But it was a good idea to try out what it feels like with a fake beard for a whole day (and hell it was itchy as f......).
It was so much fun. And look at my cute bro... how sweet he's laughing <3
Thorin Oakenshield from The Hobbit: The Lord of the Rings
as Fili as Ori Lola as Bofur
More like Thorin Smokenshield! Had a few great friends and I group together to cosplay some of the Dwarves from the newly released movie, The Hobbit. LOVED every moment I was in this outfit. Made some heads spin and some jaws drop when they realized I was actually a female and not some grungy sweaty man dressed up. There are so many things I need to finish on this cosplay, but from what I have done it has came together so nicely. A little bit about the cosplay I made all the little plates on the tunic, rings, steal toe boots and belt out of Worbla, first time actually using the material and really loved it. Sword was cut out and shaped by my good friend I did finished the wood with a little more hand sanding, primed and then painted.

Thorin cosplay worn and created by me Premier date 2013
We did this after a week of watching The Desolation of Smaug. Thanks to Kazaki (my Thorin) for introducing me to Few, the awesome photographer. His photos are stunning!!! We took this photo at the park where there are lots of people and the trees are not very dense, but he still manages to shoot amazing photos such as this one! XD
