I never actually really enjoyed Power Stone all that much. I remember first playing the game at an Electronic's Boutique store (on a fishing controller) and I would play against my sister Linda and beat the crap out of her, which was tons of fun.
Then I played Power Stone 2, which didn't feel as fun when I first played it at the store. I don't know if this is because this is not the first Power Stone, or if the fighting system really wasn't as fun as I thought it was. Nevertheless, when I DID play Power Stone 2, I'd usually pick Rouge or Julia (I have an affinity for high jumpers and characters who're at their best in the air).
Anyway, this picture piece felt like it was a lot of work for something I'm not totally satisfied with (but good enough to post). I feel all the shading is messed up. Or maybe it's because I left in the outlines of the characters, I'm not sure. It probably would've been better if this picture, like, actually took place at night in a city (where else would girl's go to hang out?). But around that time I felt like I was spending too much time on this picture and just opted for a simple sunset. The clouds were done with the cloud filter in Photoshop, but I did stuff to it so it wouldn't look so obvious (I hate it when people just use the cloud filter and leave it at that).
Rouge from Power Stone (c) Capcom, I believe.

Yeah, this started out as a way to help get my anatomy better...But I loved it so much that I finished it anyway, despite the horrible line art, (didn't use the paths tool at all) I also used this pic to experiment with different stuff? Especially the hair. Much love for her hair. <3
....I love this pic! X3 ~<3
Do you guys see anything wrong with the anatomy? Does it look good? ...I tried real hard to get it right! XD
Also, WHY DOES THIS REMIND ME OF CHARACTERS FROM SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL?!?
Hi! Hi! So I got the fanart bug again. Yeah, I'm going old school Dreamcast on you. Actually, there is a PSP version. Anyways, this is Rouge from the Power Stone 1 and 2. Power Stone ([link]) was Capcom's reply to the Super Smash Bros (64?). It was a loose but awesome game with 4-player action and boss battles. After getting 3 power stones in a stage, anyone could transform into a super powerful form. The transformations are similar to the smash ball in Smash Bro. Brawl.
Rouge, was my fav. chara. in that series. I kicked so much butt with her! Of course, this is when I ask for a sequel or port to next gen console (that makes sense). Like the Wii! Four players online come on! Please?? lol It's always cool to see another sister in game kicking butt and looking fantastic while doing it.
I was trying cell shading out and this is what I got. The light is coming from the back on the right. It was tough, but I tried. Oh! the bg was ref'ed from here ([link]). I learned a couple of things over the last week about drawing that finally makes sense.
1. Draw with your arm (not wrist) or you get hairy, sketchy, flat lines 2. Because of this, my tablet is too small. However, I learned how to use the pen tool, so it's okay. Just remember to change the line size 3. Color in background first!
