They say that at times, you can't even trust your own family. That someday, eventually, something will happen that will completely warp your beliefs... your acceptance of them. I guess for me, that day was a long time coming.
One would think I'd have learned not to trust so easily after experiences in my past left me where I am today. But I was given a good crew, and I put a great deal of stock in them.
I guess I just never thought something like this would happen...
Part Four: Amaranthine
Bit by bit, information was coming in. None of it was making Blaster happy, and he was tapping his fingers somewhat impatiently on a keypad as he waited for the next bit of data to filter through. Since the revelation that Longarm Prime was really Shockwave in disguise, he had pretty much taken over communicat

I do what I can for the good of Cybertron. May not always be what others agree with, and it may not be the most popular option, but what I do is for the greater good. I can see that. I've made mistakes in the past and this is my way of making up for it.
So why is it that the only person who seems to be able to see that I'm only doing what's best for everyone else... is me?
Part Six: Twisted and Broken
It was Optimus who first reacted to Sentinel's actions, reaching out to pull the other Prime off his friend. Now wait just a minute, Sentinel! he growled. Ratchet is doing what he has to! He had no other choice to save the girl's life!
And there are also laws about interacting with organics, in case you've forgotten! Sentinel was shoving Opt

That was the name given to the lowest and largest level of the Iacon Clinic and Triage Facility.
To many, it was a name that underscored the sometimes servile nature of the caste system, a relegation of untold numbers to spark-numbing tasks of banal importance. A consideration shared by those of the higher castes, of course.
To others, it was a symbol of punishment for sins against the established order or of transgressions for acting above and beyond one's station.
But, despite the surrounding stigma, the actual structure of "the basement" was far from foreboding.
At least as far as Ratchet's sensibilities were concerned.
From the second level catwalks, the room was a sea of massive, golden cylinders, each about two toranometers tall, by one-fifth that distance wide, and each spaced about a quarter of a toranometer apart. The cylinders were arranged in a geometrical pattern in the likeness of a senifex, a strand of CNA that had been separ

I can't think. I can't focus.
My mind is here, and yet not. It's like... being in a terrible, thick fog. One that chokes all senses and clouds all sense of awareness. I am me, and yet I am not. I do not yet know what has happened... but I intend to find out.
Part Five: Into the Black
I want to know what you've done to me!
The demand was simple. It was straight-forward, coherent, and plain. It was also well beyond any capacity Lockdown had paid the Quintessons to program into his puppet... and now it was painfully obvious his suspicions on how solid those blocks were had been proven correct. Funny way to thank the mech who brought you back.
Prowl's expression tightened, but he did not move. How? Why?!

"An arrogant one you are," he said between long, labored breaths.
"You're mistaking confidence for arrogance," Siamera replied, "a rather common mistake."
Slowly raising his sword, he points it at her. "Let's see how confident you'll be after I cut off a limb or two."
"If you're feeling froggy ." She smiles. "Then jump," motioning with her hands for him to charge her.
He laughs as he draws his sword back and runs straight for her again. She braces herself for his attack but inches before reaching her, he propels himself in the air. Lifting his giant sword up over his head as his large form blocks out the sun, then plummets down over her. Siamera rolles out of the way right before the sword buries itself in the arena ground.
"Didn't think he'd take me literally," she quietly, muttered to herself.
Pulling his sword from the dirt, "for someone so confident you runaway a awful lot."
"As opposed to getting my head cut off, yeah I guess I kind a do," Siamera replied, picking herself up

Taking his hand, Rachel got up and smiled. “Now unless you want me to call you, you all the time, I would like to know your names”.
“My name’s Allie, this is Gabe and Ray” the blonde explained excitedly “the giant purple koala is Squeaky, my partner, oh and the little blue guy over there is Gabe’s partner, Gargle.”
“I am Sasha,” the golden metal girl started “I, too, am Gabe’s partner”.
“And this is Tatsurion,” Ray began “but you can just call him Bob”.
“Wait, his name is… Bob?!” stifling a laugh, she tried her best not to offend him. The giant beast sighed of frustration at hearing the question.
“It’s a long story” Ray said quickly, trying to ease Bob’s embarrassment. Suddenly, the little fire bird swooped down and landed on Rachel’s shoulde

She found herself, like a ghost, flying above a fort. It was filled with creatures, especially lizard like one’s. The landscape was harsh, with lava and flying rocks. Suddenly, a wind picked up, gently pushing her towards the palace. She floated through the walls into the throne room. Inside where more lizard like things. Two of them seemed to glow red, in fact, they almost looked like the landscape outside. Another lizard sat on the throne wearing armor. His skin was green and his eye’s held violence. An announcer came, another lizard, and bowed low to the green skinned one.
“Lord Skycrusher,” he began hesitantly, “your daughter, Fioria the Burnheart, requests to see you oh magnificent one.”.
“Send her in,” he replied. His voice hissed in an annoying way to Rachel. The doors groaned as they opened to the incoming visitor. Rachel

"Prowl," he whispered quietly to himself, "Why couldn't we have found a better way?"
Just then, a tussle brought him back to reality. Sari and bumblebee were having a mock battle with each other. When the autobots returned to Cybertron, they were hailed as heros. The high council thought it appropriate for such bots to have formal training. As a result, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, and Sari were admitted as honorary elite guard members. Optimus himself was granted full re-instatement upon a grant from Alpha Trion. The old bot seemed to like Optimus. Althougth prime couldn't understand why, Alpha Trion said he had more potential than he gave himself credit.
As the comical brawl between mech and teen continued, Bulkhead and Ratchet entered the room.
"What's going on here?"

"Any luck with the Vision Pool?" Nightshade asked as he wandered into the Guardians' sleeping room. Ignitus just heaved a long sigh.
"Again, a rather futile effort. It's all foggy and keeps showing Tephra when I try to force it to reveal the Earth avatar. Again though, I can't say for sure if she's the one."
"I know. Forcing for the Fire elemental just showed Ember." The shadow dragon slumped down next to the older fire dragon. "I keep getting the feeling though that Tephra will be pivotal to all this."
"And I get the feeling that despite all our efforts, we're being expertly played...though in what way, I have no clue." Ignitus shook his head. "How are the hatchlings?"
Nightshade chuckled. "Doing quite well. I expect they'll all survive. They're actually doing better than Neves did at that age. But we still have two

The room seemed stuffy since he had left it. With all the thoughts going through Prowl's processor right now anyway, it was a wonder he could even truly focus on that much. He stared at the tree, which had grown a bit unruly in the months he'd been away. He would have to tend to it. Perhaps he could find some tranquility in the action where it felt all had been lost in his life.
He could hear Jazz approaching from behind him, and felt the touch on his shoulder fins almost before the other cyberninja's fingers even landed. You've been spendin' a lot of time alone, Prowler, he was commenting softly. You really should try to get back to talkin' with your team. They miss you. Much as it may not seem that way.

Tony was walking down the street towards his home when he heard someone whimper form the alley next to him. He walked down the alley and saw a person leaning against a building cowering in fear and pain. "Are you alright?" The person tried to get away. "Please I just want to help you." The person looked at him with tears in their eyes, they leaned back more against the building and he could see what the person was hiding. Their hands were over their rounded stomach.
The person looked up at Tony with fear. "Please, you must save my baby." Tony was surprised, the voice sounded male. "If anything happens you must raise my baby." Tony looked confused. "There are people after me and my baby. They want to harm him." The man groaned in pain. "Please save him, he must live. He can fix everything." The man groaned again and hugged his stomach. "Please help us."
"Alright, just tell me what to do, I will help you." The man groaned and pointed to a bag on the ground. Tony went to it

It's truly amazing how time can play tricks on you. A second seems to last forever, yet years can pass in the blink of an eye. Before Christine and Raoul knew it, they were married and had become parents. The events of the opera house seemed so far behind them, though they never forgot. Christine continued to sing there, despite advice against doing so by Raoul. She brought their daughter, Aminta, to see her dressing-room, thrilling her with tales of the Opera Ghost, saying that at any moment he might call to her from behind the mirror. Aminta loved it. She loved the opera house, the dressing-room, seeing her mother sing onstage. Early on she had come to love music above anything, especially opera. Often, her mother would sing to her at night, igniting beautiful dreams. And, of course, Christine told her stories of the Angel of Music. Raoul was skeptical about this, but Christine insisted that there was no harm in it. Often Aminta dreamt of the Angel, or the Opera G

Rachel stood there in awe as she took in the scene before her. A cavern, correction, a huge cavern opened up to her eyes. Stalagmites (or was it stalactites) draped down from the ceiling like giant curtains, they even had the flowing look to them. Beautiful buildings carved out of stone were set in perfect positions, almost like a small town. An arena was set close to the center, it looked like it was based off of the roman coliseum.
But what really caught her attention was the flying light pillars. In a way, those pillars almost seemed like flying saucers as they zipped and zoomed all over the place. Realizing that she was exposed, she quickly ducted into the shadows. She held her breath for a moment, then slid down. Corridor through corridor, she stayed in the darkness and shadows until she came upon a giant hallway with drawings on the celling. Silently, a dark figure leaped from rooftop to rooftop, stalking her prey. She flexed and flowed like a cat. Her target was a group of three 14 year olds. One was a girl with blond hair and emerald eyes. From what Rachel had found, she was rich and had a wit faster than lighting as she had shown on several occasions.
The boy next to her was heavy set, and had dark curly hair which was always hid by his cream colored hat. He was the brains of the group and always prepared, very prepared, to a fault. On the other side of the girl was another boy. He had black hair and chocolate eyes that swirled with kindness. “His manner is nice as well” she thought as she dropped into the ally across from them. Making sure her black cloak was secure, she watched as the trio went into the five paths studio.
She had been following them for a week now and noticed that the kids always seem to go there, sometimes abruptly. In

Falcon sat on the couch while Wolf was in the backyard mowing the grass. In a few hours, they were going to Tammy's house for the party. He heard the doorbell. "Come in." He yelled. It was hot that day and he was too lazy to get up. He sat up when he heard Jaz and Arya giggling. The girls ran to him and hugged him. "Hey girls how are you feeling?" They sat on the couch, one on each side of him. He looked up when he heard Marie. "Hey Marie. I hope you brought bathing suits for everyone; it is a pool party after all."
"Where is my brother hiding? What did you do, lock him in the basement?" Falcon and the girls laughed.
"No, he is mowing the lawn in the back. He should be in soon; he said it was too nice a day to pass up lawn work. Power to him I say, I think it is too hot to do anything." He leaned back on the couch and smiled at his nieces. He still felt weird calling them that. They leaned on him with their head on his shoulders. "Alright what did you two do or what do you w

He gave a sigh, taking a seat in a chair, opening the first one up. He blinked when he saw that the first message was from Ironhide. He backed out of the screen and checked on who else sent the letters.
He was surprised to see that they were all from Ironhide. The green minibot tilted his helm as he tried to figure out why this was the case.
"Maybe he could send letters from the Stockades," he muttered as he decided to try and read the first letter.
The letter was short and simple, saying how Ironhide was going to find out who sent Wasp to the Stockades-
"Holy crap, these aren't really mine," Wasp said, nearly dropping the pad. Why did he get all of these letters that were meant for Waspinator? Maybe the twins didn't realize their mist

Astro Train walked the abandoned streets of old Detroit. The triple changer silently stalked in and out of the shadows looking for a lead to the Autobots. He had been on Earth for three days. The humans would have called it July 8th. The night he landed, he intercepted a public organic transmission concerning two Autobots causing commotion in his current sector; but aside from impressions in the pavement and buildings, and a ripped up metal pole, he found nothing. Frustrated, Astro Train returned to his ship. Inside, he realized he had a holo message. He hit a button and saw lugnut on his display screen.
"Astro Train," The oversized con began. "Lord Megatron grows impatient with your progress."

His own eyes narrowing, Superman grabbed Hawkgirl's mace with one hand and tore it out of the red haired woman's hands, simultaneously turning and taking hold of the back of her clothes so that he was holding her and her weapon apart with the full span of his arms.
At the same time Batman threw a heavy batarang at the charging Green Lantern, almost smirking when it exploded in front of the other man and covered him in a thick yellow powder.
"What the hell?" the current Green Lantern, John Stewart, yelled, trying to wipe the powder from his eyes.
Hawkgirl flapped her wings about, making it as hard as she could for Superman to keep hold of her as she cursed and tried to lay punches and kicks on the Man of Steel.
"Really Batman, was that necessary?" Wonder Woman walked away for a moment to return with a towel for John.
"You think saying 'stop' would have
