You honor me with your interest
SO, I'm really back at making armors and costumes for folks again, but as I get alot of questions about the pricings (as is expected of course) I thought I'd make a quick and simple HOW TO on asking that question
Now I know most people out there are not really that into leather (god knows I'm basically one of them aswell) and so do not really know what to ask when confronting me with questions and enquiries.
1: Pieces. An "Armor"(Leather or metal. .. or plastic..) can consist of ALOT of different parts. There are different types of helmets, different types of cuirasses/harnesses, bracers, greaves, gauntlets, pauldrons, thighplates, codpieces, sabbatons, gorgetes, scaleshirts, etc etc etc) so therefore I'm having a

I have never found a companion who was so companionable as solitude.
Henry David Thoreau
By :icontechgnotic: techgnotic
I I always thought of Thoreau’s comment as simply a word game — clever but ultimately false at its core. A Valentines Day without a Valentine means being alone and alone means being unhappy. It’s taken many years to finally understand the truth in Thoreau’s words. We are never so alone as when in the company of loving family and friends, our Valentine companion held tight in our arms – but knowing we are lost, unfulfilled in our dreams and visions, and untrusting in our own inner counsel. Now I hope to one day seek companions

Opening the Darkest Door
I have recently come across a most disturbing phenomenon in my studies of the Diabolic Infestation of the Soul. It seems there is a most frightening psychological conundrum when considering the concept of demonic possession even the most remote possibility of reality upon our earthly plane is the notion that just believing it may be true could very likely be the spark needed for the Demon to discover, seek out, and ultimately inhabit its next vessel of evil: You.
From the Exorcist through Paranormal Activity, generation after generation of “believers” seem to have come to the reali

For many of us, the first “art gallery” to command our attention (and constant, even daily, monitoring) in our
lives existed within the pages of the local newspaper. It was called “the movie section” and its ever-changing movie
advertisements were like little frames that rarely contained less than pure magic for young imaginations.
The Film Poster has existed since the earliest days of silent movies and the pulse-elevating excitement of the
first sight of an upcoming adventure, action, or sweeping love story that we might have only “heard good things about”
still packs a psychic punch throughout movie lovers today.

Holiday Card Project 2012Holiday Card Project 20122 years ago in DeviantArt Announcements More Like This
It's back! With the goal of bringing a little cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the deviantART Holiday Card Project connects deviants from around the world and applies their tremendous artistic abilities in designing and creating uplifting holiday cards.
In past years, the Project has received more than 5,000 cards sent in by more than 1,000 deviants from 50 different countries/political regions. Cards were then divvied up and distributed in-person by deviantART members to local Los Angeles, CA hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad for hospital staff members to hand out to patients.
The idea behind the Holiday Card Project is simple: do something nice for others. However, if you're looking for even more incentive, every deviant who submits a card will be given a free one-month Premium Membership to deviantA

Here's how it went.
Me: Hey Dayton, you want to watch this with me? It's really funny.
Dayton: Do people get hit in the balls?
Me: (WTF O_o) Um... yes, how'd you know?
Dayton: It's not a funny movie until someone gets hit in the balls.

Cthulhu is Still Calling
Written By techgnotic
Having been thinking a lot about the origins of our globally held Dragon mythos in a recent article Reptilicus Infernicus, I couldn’t help but notice the Cthulhu legend was always lurking at the edges of my mind as I was researching the subject matter.
The Enemy at the Gates, the “Other”, forever lurking in the darkness and plotting an invasion most evil and an enslavement most hideous, is probably the original seminal “narrative” that was born when humans first acq

The Ever Evolving Icon
What is it about a fictional character first introduced to the public in Great Britain in 1887 that has kept him being reincarnated, with generationally-correct upgrades, over and over again in film and on television? Who is this literary hero whose portrayal over the past century by such past masters as Basil Rathbone and Jeremy Brett to today’s vanguard talents Robert Downey, Jr. and Benedict Cumberbatch has inspired such a continuing outpouring of fan appreciation?

In addition to occupying an ages old position in our cultural consciousness, legend and folklore surrounding

The chaptered comic strip, has been collected into a 100-page graphic novel – and to the still-uninitiated:
It is not quite like anything you’ve probably ever seen before. The story follows “Zee Captain” and his sidekicks as they amble through a post-apocalyptic landscape. And while that hardly seems new and different, it’s the unusually superlative graphic quality of the comic cells and the Monty Pythonesque dialogues and leaps of logic that can become quite mesmerizing. Zee Captain, his face hidden by a gas mask that gives him a Darth Vaderish look, wears what looks like a Soviet Red Army uniform from WWII, and the strip does have nourish WWII feel. It’s as if the nuclear holocaust on Hiroshima and Nagasaki had never ended and spread to every major city on Earth. But

HATERS GONNA HATEUp late. Had to write.HATERS GONNA HATE2 years ago in Personal More Like This
What does "haters gonna hate" mean exactly? Some people think it's what pompous people say. Like a troll saying "u mad?". If that's what you think "haters gonna hate" means, let me correct you right now. (bare with me til the end <3 )
Here's what it means; There will ALWAYS be haters. Whether you choose to do this, or choose to do that. Whether you pursue your passion, or pursue what you think will make you "financially stable". There will be haters when you're an amateur trying to be a pro. And there will be haters when you ARE a pro. The better of a person you become, sadly, chances are there will be more haters. Haters will hate, regardless. If you're nice, they'll hate. If you're a jerk, they'll hate. If you draw too cartoony, they'll hate. If you draw too realistic, they'll hate. If you improve, haters will appear out of nowhere. There's actually more the better you are than there are when you're a nobody. Why?
Let me break it down. There's a species of c

A magic of effective art can be a drawing that appears to be a movie still, clipped from a film narrative, evoking a powerful sense of storytelling— and the viewer wants to know the rest of the story. This phenomenon has recently manifested itself on deviantART— and in a big way— once again.

As such, I have designed these rules that anyone with any common decency should know, but apparently don't because I keep seeing these things happen.5rules for treating AB Women/Girls on the internet3 years ago in Personal More Like This
1. DON'T do the "Question Dump": this should be self explanatory. If you have never talked to this person before, don't go to her page and ask her 20 thousand questions all at once. Actually get to know her long enough to get in conversations where you can ASK these questions on there own, not just dumping them on her page hoping she'll respond with something you can use for your spank bank tonight. Which brings me to...
2. DON'T ask her personal questions: These include what her bodily functions are, what does she do in her diaper (for example, if she
