That is what Vanellope von Schweetz wondered as she looked at the stasis pod. Its bright green light reflected in her eyes. She knew it was not possible, but somewhere she was hoping he would wake up and look back at her, just to let her know he would be alright. But no, he simply floated there in the small cabinet. Motionless and soundless in a deep sleep. His arms and legs dangled, with bits and pieces of shredded pixels and data crackling and buzzing all around him.
Her father, King Candy, was in grave danger.
It all started as a normal day. After the arcade closed, the two of them went to Hero’s Duty. To celebrate the game’s recent plug-in, a festive opening was held and Sugar Rush’s royalty had received VIP invitations.
It was not the pilot’s fault. Malfun

Harvest Pokemoon: ArthurAll morning, the sea had been churning and the waves had been growing as the wind picked up speed-at first it was just a breeze, but then it had strengthened into powerful, terrifying gusts. The towering man used an arm to shield his silver-gray eyes from the bits of debris flying through the air, the armor plates on his forearms clinking and clanking in response to each pebble and wooden stick shard hitting against them. He stumbled forward, squinted his eyes, and angled his head downward in an attempt to peer under his blocking limb, to see where he was going. Why was Arthur out in a hurricane, you ask? Because there could be people or animals stuck out here, trapped, with no one else to help them! The knight wasn't afraid, in fact he was pumped with adrenaline and exhilarated- determined to help anything or anyone that he might find in need. It was then that he spotted it, a terrified, tiny little baby Dwebble, scurrying
Never Or AlwaysI stand at the alter, uncertain if I belongNever Or Always8 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
One voice says never, the other says always
I'm uncertain which to hear, which to rebuke
One must be truth, the other lie, but which is which?
I fidget and sway, overtaken by confusion
Which to choose, which to choose?
My mind wanders, I begin to sweat
I do not belong, I cannot belong
I remember the past, the mistakes made
Forsaking my Lord, choosing my sin
I cannot belong, I've done so much wrong
Yet I know, even through that, which voice to hear
The Voice speaks, my fidgeting ends
He says to come, that peace will follow
I look before me, the figure bright as the sun
He beckons, I come
The first step, the lying voice desperate
The second step, the voice fades to a whisper
The third step, and the voice fades to nothing
I embrace Him, peace overtaking pain, love covering sin

Setting: A post apocalyptic world where everyone, save these 5 characters, has been killed by a mysterious and deadly disease.
Walker He is represents darkness. He mostly watches, and he subtly makes situations worse.
Diligence The first person to find Walker. He's always striving to do better, be better, find the best in everyone, and he's always thinking and working and trying. He isn't concerned about himself, but rather the tasks that need doing and the people that need helping.
Vanity Even when facing the extinction of humanity, all Vanity can think of is herself and her own appearance and situation. She shows that no matter how dire a situation humanity is in, it is our nature to only think of ourselves, and what everyone else's suffering and dying means to us. She is uncaring, stupid, slightly comedic and serves as a foil to Diligence, who never thinks of himself and only of others.

For the many decades I've lengthened have expanded pain's time; across shallow mountains and beatings I prepare my final climb.
Through harsh mists and soft grasses the journey trembles on; days on end without my voices; alas, I realize they are gone.
Near all abandonment's shelter I rest without ease; my halved demon appears before me; she speaks hellishly in the breeze.
Forgiveness and hallucination she crisply burns in my eyes; I must awaken and continue, 'tis my time to remain wise.
To a judging stream near the greenish peaks, I sit down to somberly rest, screeching memories grasp my bloodied hands; these visions are merely a test.
And here at last is the accurate time, I lie down and breathe once to sigh, down the merciless falls I briskly crash; today was the day to die.

Book 4: Air
Chapter 1: The Flaming Diamond
Night had come to the whole Fire Nation. It seemed that everyone was sleeping; even the animals closed their eyes.
But one person was not.
Zuko was sitting in front of a big table covered with red material. The table was full of parchment and paper scrolls. He had let his servants to go away a long time ago. Zuko didn't like their company. Actually, he didn't like anyone's company. His eyes also were closing and he was fighting with weariness. Suddenly a big drop of ink fell on an important letter.
A small flame appeared in Zuko's hand and burned the letter.
He was tired. But he was the Fire Lord.
Zuko put his face into his hands. One of them touched his scar. His skin was strange there, feeling like thin paper. He didn't allow anyone to touch it.
He was almost overcome with sleep, when he recalled that someone had broken this rule. In the cave under Ba Sing Se, almost two years ago, when he didn't know yet which way he would go.

I admire and respect Butch Hartman as a creative genius.
So as to honor him and his creations, I will do nothing to harm them in any way whatsoever.
My favorite out of all of them is Danny Phantom.
Why do I like Danny Phantom so much?
His greatest source of power is not in his physical ability or stamina, but in his spirit, his heart, the love he has for his family and friends. He puts their lives and well-being first. He fights to protect not only them but also anyone who is unable to defend themselves. His strong sense of loyalty to his cause, combined with that boundless love, all make him more than just human.
What I express in my art and in my writing are my true feelings for Danny. My love and admiration for him go far beyond the realm of the worldly and the mundane, transcending past the stars to the spiritual plane and beyond. I feel for him in all that he does. I understand his character that well.
It gives me great displeasure to see him treated the way he is in many works I

Zutara - Scars Chapter 1
I stood in a cave lit by blue-green stones. It was a strangely beautiful prison, not dark and plain like a cell. But my eyes were not on the walls that caged me, they were on my cellmate. He was huddled on the floor with his back to me. I paced back and forth yelling at him, telling him how terrible he was. But he did not talk back, he did not lash out at me like I expected. He didn't burn me or even become angry at all by what I could see. Only once did he speak and that was to tell me I didn't know what I was talking about. But I let that fuel my anger more. I wanted him to hurt, I wanted him to know what he and his father had done to me. So I made this personal now, and I told him of my weakest weakness, my deepest scar. I told him of my mother. Then he surprised me.
As I cried into my knees, he turned toward me, "I'm sorry." I continued to hide in my tears as his sincere voice rang through the caves. "That's something we have in common." And for the first t

Wreck-it-Ralph: GloydxVanellopeGloyd gave the kart one final kick before withdrawing. Out of the corner of his eye, he glanced toward Taffyta as she spat out insult after insult at Vanellope. For a moment, he met eyes with the raven-haired girl's and Gloyd could easily see hurt and dejection in them. He quickly looked away, forcing down a growing sense of guilt. A second later, the other racers pulled away from the kart as well. Taffyta had finished ranting at Vanellope and motioned toward the others to leave. "Come on, everyone. Let's get out of here." The strawberry-themed girl said as she pushed Vanellope out of the way. She easily lost balance and fell onto her bottom, straight into a puddle of mud. A few racers sniggered at the child as they walked past; Gloyd kept his eyes on the ground, hands shoved in his pockets. It was the home stretch of the Random Roster Race. Vanellope von Schweetz was in the lead.
Taffyta Muttonfudge was several lengths behind her, leaning forward intently as she tried to catch up. Later, she would blame her second-place position on Vanellope's glitching, but only in jest and only to avoid admitting that the President had gotten the better of her. They all knew Vanellope rarely glitched in their after-hours races and never in the RRR; after all, she knew all too well what it felt like to be shut out, and would never risk bumping a racer who might have otherwise made the top nine out through her ability.
She was such a good girl.
Vanellope's win was all but assured, but the watcher half-hidden behind the stands bearing her name fidgeted with tension until the wildly glittery Candy Kart flashed across the finish line, Pink Lightning seconds behind. The stands erupted with cheers as each racer came in and he smiled, still fidgeting slightly as he watched the kids leap

As a child Gru had had nightmares. There were reasons for this of course. The obvious fact that he was a child being one of them, but this fact was only one of the few, and the lesser, of the many problems. His homelife being for example; his unsupportive mother who believed that he, her own son, was never enough. His father's harsh demeanor and how he had left early without so much as an explanation of why. School bullies who teased him for his short figure and harsh accent.
All of these things, of course, later on led to his successful career as the worlds number one villain. His mothers downcast eye pushed him forward. His father leaving had helped him block off any and all painful things thrown at him. And school bullies that he had bumped into later in life regretted anything and everything that they had said to him, as he towered over them with a six foot four and an accent that made people cower.
Nightmares had stopped early for him. He was on his way to being a super

With dreams of wings I am forced to walk.
I wish to become the challenger of my own gravity,

Just because I defy you, doesn't make me wrong.
The size of my deed will reflect my ego,
Project myself, I must become exactly what I want.
So gravity, I challenge you to keep me down,
I defy you to crush my wings!
In defiance I scream at my fate;
"I'll gain my wings and you'll keep your weight!"

There was some conflict, though, as both sisters had a different idea of what playtime was supposed to consist of.
“Sorry, Lu, we must have played that game a thousand times. Just yesterday I played it with you! Can you not just let me read? Just this once?”
Being a few years older than Luna, Celestia liked to think of herself as more mature, even if she was still just a filly herself. She preferred things like reading her books and practicing magic over playing silly games. She was the practical one, while her sister tended to be more imaginative. Ignoring Luna’s pleas, she stuck her nose back in her book. A few moments of blissful silence

The hedgehog's disposition darkened. To think he had almost forgotten about the ordeal a few days prior. It wasn't overconfidence that sent him spiraling towards death; it was something that somehow lived inside him that he didn't wish to acknowledge.
