A week or two out from Supanova I realised that I didn't have a costume for the second day and that REALLY wasn't cool! Supanova is my favourite con and I've gotten so behind the anime scene that I couldn't miss the change to cosplay a non-anime character. And so Angelica was born.
Here was the costume decision process in mathematical form:
Pirates = awesome Angelica = sexy Angelica > Elizabeth Angelica + possible Jack cosplayer = EXTREMELY sexy!
This has to be the most rushed costume I have ever done and a LOT needs to be fixed up but I had SUCH a good day! One of the main reasons for this is the two VERY gorgeous people standing next to me in this photo. This was not a planned group we just ran into each other. This was shot just outisde the con at the end of the day and got some REALLY good photos!
I really want to fix up this costume and reshoot on a beach/tall ship and hopefully I can steal Jack and Elizabeth again... pity they live in Melbourne..
Just finished the Harry Potter shoot and I thought I should probably edit some older photos before I get wonderfully entangled in photoshopping Voldemort's face so here we go!
I wanted create a costume that would take advantage of how cold it is most of the year where I live. The cape is velveteen, lined with satin, and trimmed with faux fur. I wanted to look for fabrics other than traditional satin for the gown. This is a dress that was already in the castle and given to Belle, so the fabrics would have been rich, enjoyable to run your fingers over, not to mention thicker due to the time of year the dress is worn. I added a small amount of decorative trim around the light pink portions of the gown but kept the basic, clean, and simple look of the Disney animation. Finally, I added a necklace and earring set I've owned for years that is a combination of ceramic roses, pearls, and gold.
While I wish I could have found the time to have photos taken in this costume with a full snowy background, I'm more than ready for the warmer weather to arrive!
I love how looks the dress here *_* I´m so happy with this costume, Rapunzel is my favourite Disney Princess ^^ I made this cosplay for ECG Season 3 Final, with my lovely boyfriend as Flynn Rider If you want to see more of our costumes and photos here you have our facebook page! www.facebook.com/HermioneShayk…;
I know, that title is sooo overused but I am on a horse. D:
OK I was gonna wait till I got more photos from this shoot so I can pick and choose what I want to upload here but I was too exciteeeed so I am posting this right now.
When I made my cowboy!America cosplay, I wanted a cheesy western shoot so bad. I put-putted online a bit to see what's in my area and I stumbled upon the most awesome place called Pioneertown. It's in the middle of the desert in California. It was a town made for western movies in the 1960s. A few friends and I went on a small road-trip and hung out there for the afternoon. The timing was perfect because a show had just ended and one of the performers was out with his horse! So. PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES GALORE. The guy was super friendly and I learned a few random facts about horses. 8D This particular horse (his name is Denver~~) has the PRETTIEST blue eyes. You can't see them in this pic--they'll probably be in the other pics!--but I am super jealous of them. They're the color of the sky.
